After having neck surgery this past year I found it hard to extend my head up while riding. When I went in and explained my issue, Dennis said they had just the part needed to extend the handlebars upwards in a safe manner. They got it back to me when they said they would and had cleaned the bike up some and it is fantastic. Cant recommend them highly enough! Thank you!

I was finishing a week long tour with my bike fully loaded and still about 30 miles to get home. It was hot and humid and I was outta gas when I saw J&Ds sign about cold drinks for riders. They stock a fridge with Gatorade and ice water. They charge a reasonable price--about half what youd pay at a convenience store. We had a great chat about cycling while I refueled. Quality folks. Knowledgeable cyclistsAnd the shop is gorgeous. Ill be back!

Dropped my bike off because of a broken spoke and a noise coming from the crank area. Within a day I had a call from them saying they fixed the spoke and they found the issue. They kept me in the loop about what was going on and the price for parts and labor. After receiving my bike back, I can honestly say that they did a fantastic job. I will definitely be taking my bike there for any kind of mechanical work I need done in the future.

They are very knowledgeable with the bikes but the male employee is NOT kind. I wanted to walk out and should have but it was not fully my decision. I also felt very insulted that I was asked if we even had the money for the bike. He may have thought I was a teen (as a look younger) but I am in fact 30 and work hard for a nice income. He had no right to question my ability to purchase the bike. We said we were buying it so obviously we have the money. I also felt as though he was not letting us get what we wanted. Instead, we were told what to get.Like I said, they are very knowledgable when it comes to bikes so that is a positive, but the male employee is greatly lacking on customer service skills. While we will return for the maintenance on the bike, we will not be purchasing from them again unless the customer service improves.

Male employee was extremely off putting and rude nor wanted to even help us. Definitely will never recommend this place to anyone.

A wonderful shop with very experienced mechanics. We were riding our tandem self-contained across Indiana and Ohio when we broke a spoke on our rear wheel. Joyce replaced the spoke and trued the wheel and we were back on the road in less than 30 minutes. You wont go wrong here.

What a great shop! They truly live up to their simple and honest slogan! I dropped my bikes (cheap mountain bikes) to have the wheels looked at after they fell off my bike rack. Great place to do business with. They were ALOT of help with our Haro master build. Was very pleased with the amount of parts they are able to get through Haro and their patience with us. Awesome place! The owners are very nice and very knowledgeable about bikes and accessories. Theyll even let you take it for a test ride on the bike path which runs right by the shop. This will definitely be my go-to place for any repairs, tune-ups, or accessories.

I stopped in shortly after they opened. The lady was very nice. The guy on the other hand was rude and dismissive. I had planned on doing some ongoing business with them, our charity buys 4 bicycles a month for underprivileged children. But after my run in with the gentleman, I took my business to main street instead. Maybe he was having a bad day, dont know dont care. But I wont be back.

Weve purchased 2 bikes, had another bike tuned after a chain failure, and a dirt jumper repaired after a wreck. Great to work with! Family friendly. Always recommend.

This place is just amazing. We had a popped tire and whatnot and came in expecting to spend 30 dollars or so and wait a week. We came in and it took 5 minutes for them to replace it for 15$ (they fixed it right in front of us.) and they were extremely nice. Definitely coming again!! :) Affordable, fast, and amazing customer service.

Bike rental - great service, great bike, very reasonable prices. This bike shop is directly across the street from the Miami Valley bike trail. We rented bikes and took a 30+ miles round trip ride. The bikes were great and the owners of J&D are very pleasant and helpful. Extremely reasonable prices; they provided helmets and offered a bike lock as well at no charge. I will definitely rent from there again if I am in the area.

Guy driving the white Ford with JD Bicycles sign on it, is very rude and aggressive. At Tim Hortons this morning on mothers day there was a bit of a mess on the drive through line and he began to honk and curse at me to get out of his way. Not someone I will be doing business with.

I had a crank issue, they fixed it and had me on my way in no time. Located right off the bike trail, they have water and Gatorade for trail riders. Great shop.
