Nice store. A decent amount of their merchandise is pricey, as other reviewers have stated. My wife collects Funko Pops, so Im here on a fairly regular basis as they sell them here for a decent price (as well as some exclusives). I picked up an item she ordered today and Cora was both extremely kind and professionally helpful.

Their shirts have great material and for a decent price. Designs are good too!! 👍🏼👍🏼

Love this store the people there are so nice and friendly and when I need help they always help or ask me do i need anything love it there cant wait to go back in do more shopping.

A functional Hot Topic, but a little past its prime. the good news is things are often on sale, though. employees were nice and friendly.

Nice store, was looking at the graphic tees on the wall, the shirts displayed were our of stock unfortunately. Hopefully they get more inventory in because the shirts i wanted that were displayed on the walls were all out.

I love the Oakland mall location, they know me I go there so much! They are always very friendly and helpful! I also recommend this location for doing in-store pickup for online orders as well

My daughter likes this place better than Spencers because it doesnt have the *ahem* adult gag toys 🤭. She was quite shocked lol. But seriously it has a pretty good selection in the store for anime merchandise and a larger selection online. This location in particular had friendly staff and they also had a sign posted stating that only a certain number of customers r allowed in at a time due to Covid restrictions. Recommend this location.

The lady with blonde short hair and glasses and the light skin black guy with the hat are not very nice. They need to work on their customer service skills. It took the hat guy a whole five minutes to realize I was ready to check out and he didnt greet me. It was different blonde lady when I went today, she didnt even greet me either. I have been coming to this store years and they have some nerve to be rude after I spent tons of money.

Good place to go for your band t-shirts but if youre looking for gag gifts this place isnt the place to go anymore, pretty much a clothes store now with some other random stuff.

Perfect. Love the stuff. A lady cashier was able to find my account using my email when for over 5 years not a single other associate was ever able to find my account because they all use my phone number. Apparently shes the only one in the entire state who thought to use my email instead and told me that the phone numbers often had problems.

They had slot of cool stuff but the new computers calcute hot cash wrong. I had a 30 dollar order and when i used my 15 dollar hot cash it went down to 20 dollars before tax. I was mad. I called customer service and they made up for it but i still wont be going back until that system is fixed

Hot topic had things i could get for halloween that fit me way better than the spirit costume store. At least hot topic is willing to cater to curvy women

Every time I go into hot topic, I leave out with a smile on my face. Hot topic is my favorite store for anime merch and I think it’s cool to meet people that work here who loves anime as much as I do. One of them had the same wallet as I did and it made my day. I love this place because it’s friendly and how I could get anime tees, pocky, and even a lanyard. I thank them for being friendly and joking with me.

The Hot Topic at Oakland Mall has consistently had the best employees I have ever encountered in a retail chain store. They are, unfailingly, kind, knowledgeable, and willing to help.

It is unbelievable how much movie and comic tshirts, watches and other collectable merchandise is squeezed into this shop. Great service, too.

Soo many great t-shirts, and the items are always changing too. Good deals and good variety, although some prices are slighty higher than in other stores. Clothes, accessories, body jewelry, fandom items, makeup, hair dye, figurines, etc are the usual items youll find in the shop. Place is rather balanced style-wise as well. The employees are always spectacular, very helpful, friendly, and they are easy to talk to. Overall an epic place to shop or look around in.
