Big Lots prices and selections cant be best. You can buy everything from food to a recliner and everything in between. The clearance area is a nice plus. Their Buzz Club gives you a wonderful discount periodically. Its free, too! Next time you need cat food, a new mattress, some soda or cereal, make up or other health and beauty items, shop at Big Lots.

Ive been to this Big Lots quite a number of times since moving back to the area, and Ive found that some of the furniture has the best quality vs. price ratio in the area. Having said that, absolutely five stars for their furniture department. Theres a woman who works in the furniture department who has been very helpful every time weve visited, and a younger guy who helped us get an absolute beast of a dresser onto our car. I apologize for not catching their names, but they were great.One star off for a rather poor product selection in other areas of the store. That could be due to global supply chain issues, however.

A place you wouldnt think to stop and check out... Well... You should... Big Lots is a place that will surprise you in every isle! No matter what Big Lots you stop at. Clean, tidy, associates are helpful, and more items then you can imagine to but for your home!

This was the first big lots I had ever been too, so please keep that in mind.I suppose that my big criticism would be that they need to be more creative with their layout and inventory to differentiate themselves.This store is so large and sparse that I actually thought to myself where did the other half of this Walmart disappear to?Obviously they have a wider selection of housing items and that comparison isnt really fair. I was even able to buy the under the bed storage containers I needed and couldnt find in the nearby Walmart.I think Ill definitely consider them should my apartment needs some more sprucing up.

We live in Vermont and frequently stop at this location on our way into Albany. But I specifically would like to review our most current shopping experience. We’d been planning on purchasing a new couch and had been eyeing a particular one at this store. We called ahead to make sure they had our specific couch in stock and they placed it on hold since we were traveling pretty far to pick it up. This was hands down the easiest furniture purchase experience we’ve ever had. We arrived at the store, went to the counter to request our hold, paid and the associate had the couch loaded our truck in 15 mins or less. We also didn’t realize that Big Lots gave a military/veteran discount until after we’d already paid. The associates went out of their way to reimburse us the discounted amount. Great Experience!!!! Big shoutout to Lashawn and Dan!!!!

Area isnt good and has alot of bums and drug addicts roaming around the parking lot. It does have a good selction of stuff though with great sales. Furniture is decent and very inexpensive and the workers are always friendly.

Have gone to Big Lots since they first opened after Ames left. I always find stuff to buy again and again for some good price lower than other places. But if you see it today you may not see it another day.

I like Big Lot but this one could use some help item pricing, maybe more in hardware and auto. employees were helpful. Some good furniture clearance. Some other Big Lots have refrigerated/frozen food.

Dis-organized, you need to search for staff, no greetings or pleasing atmosphere. They do have furniture so I give a 3 stars. I prefer the one on Vandenburgh ave people are more greatful if your not looking for furniture.

Great variety of what nots. Lot of the food is expired and never marked down for clearance.

Crazy amount of stuff here if you feel like browsing. Prices are more than fair (for the small goods) and I was thrilled to find an XL pet crate for under $60! I would recommend shopping here and the only negative thing I will say is that the store is pretty messy/disorganized and the furniture prices are outrageously high.

Feels like a convenience store had a baby with a K Mart. Its not a bad place just one step up from dollar store product quality. You can buy food like canned items, cereal ect as well as household items like TP and laundry detergent but its mostly the dollar store level goods. Some of which are as good as name brand. Prices are a bit high for the quality IMO. The furniture can be expensive like $600+ for a sofa that will fall apart in a year. But definitely worth a look as you may find a real good deal on some items.

The Big Lots Store on Hoosick Street in Troy is the friendliest store I have been in. We started purchasing items there last year and we keep going back because of the Manager, Melissa Densmore and her friendly staff. They are always asking if you need help and treat you more like family than as a customer. They have great items and are very reasonably priced. We recently purchased a sectional sofa there and we love it and did not have to break the bank for it. Be sure to ask for Melissa when you go.

Very deep discounts on just about everything in the store. The only drawback is that the Time to buy it is when you see it, as they usually dont have much back stock. Usually they dont get large amounts of any given product.
