Over the years Schaefer & company has done a lot of work to our house, Windows, gutters, soffits, roofing and insulation.We are very pleased with all of their work.

We had Greg and Nick come and do some repairs on our roof. We were very happy with the work they did. They were professional and courteous too. We will definitely use Schaefer and company for any future repairs. I highly recommend them!

A few months back I had suffered roof damage from a pretty bad storm. I had reached out to SEVERAL local roofing companies and knew instantly Schaefer and Co would be who I’d be using. Two big reasons for my decision were the direct contact I was able to have with Jr. one of the owners. He left a solid impression on me and that impression was that I knew I’d be in good hands and not be taken advantage of. The other big thing was a 10 year labor warranty, I couldn’t find that type of warranty from any other company and especially not one that had been around as long as Schaefer has!Once the job took off I ended up getting Dominique as my roofing foreman. I couldn’t have asked for more of a solid guy, he was very respectful, professional, and most of all knowledgeable. Dom and his crew ran into some issues with the prior roof installer not having things straight, so Dom had to do a lot of adjusting to place the new sheathing down right . I have had zero issues with the roof so far and if anyone decides to use this company I would try to get Dom for your foreman.The only con at all which isn’t really a huge problem was the slight delay, however weather permitting backed us up a little bit and then the fact the company had so many jobs lined up which is not a bad thing for a business owner. Overall I would recommend them 10 times out 10 and their pricing is very well comparable to most others. Thanks again!

I discovered a watermark on my ceiling when I moved some things. I called a roofer that came right out and gave me a verbal quote. Said hed be here in a day or two to do the work. I waited 4 days to call him. He said he would call me in a little while . I waited till noon and called another roofer who talked to me about my issue. He was all backed up with other repairs and I called Schaefer and Co. and spoke to Jeremy Good. He gave me an appointment to come look at my roof today. He was very prompt. HE FIXED MY ROOF TODAY! The lady is so happy! A burden of worry is off of me. THANK YOU, JEREMY!

Schaefer & Company installed a new roof for our home and I could not be more pleased with the job they did and the crew they sent. The roof looks wonderful, the guys were polite and clean, not a nail or shingle piece to be found, and they were so fast. We are in the process of selling our house, so a new good looking roof will help in that process. We have Schaefer to thank for that.

On 10/03/2016 we purchased our home in Tipp City, Ohio, on that date, the seller provided us with paperwork on the improvements they had done or contracted to have done which included the installation of a new roof with 25 year shingles in 2003. This work was performed by Schaefer and Company. Subsequently in April 2017 we discovered leakage in the roof over the soffits in multiple locations. Immediately we found rotting of the wood underlayment and facia boards. There also appeared to be growth of mold on those same materials. We immediately began looking at the roof and found it to be improperly installed with multiple installation errors.We then approached the shingle manufacturer (GAF) with pictures of the installation and were advised that the installation was not to industry standards, and they provided us with a technical advisory bulletin dated 04/11/2011 which also applied to roofing installed in 2003 verifying their discussion with us.We also had a professional engineer access the roofing installation. In his stamped letter to us it states “It is my professional opinion that the contractor’s work product did not meet the manufacturer’s or industry installation standards. As a result, structural damage has occurred and, is expected to continue, until the roof and sheathing are replaced.”Schaefer & Company looked at our roof and denied any responsibility for the improper installation even with the above documentation. Schaefer and company were unwilling to correct the issues that we pointed out, stating that the roof was installed in 2003, and beyond any reasonable time frame for repair. Instead they gave a repair estimate of $1,968.00, which would have mismatched materials and left the roof in an unsightly condition. Schaefer & Company would not respond to either the technical advisory bulletin or the engineer’s report.This has been our experience with Schaefer & Company, and in our opinion, they are not willing to stand behind the work that they had performed.
