We hired Belfour to help with our half basement when our sump pump failed. The job was not done to our satisfaction.We were quoted 1100 dollars for the job. We paid the money on time when got the bill. Much to our chagrin, anger, and surprise about a month later we received a bill for an additional 1900 dollars. We did not pay the bill for a month after we got the bill. When we got the second invoice we had calmed down from our anger. We called the company and spoke to Tammy Simrak, General Manager. Tammy told us she would review the records and call back. When she called again she offered a deduction of 200 hundred dollars. We explained our position and countered with a payment of 1000 dollars instead of 1900. Tammy who was supposed to be General manager had to get John Risky who is also general manager and quoted us the 1100 dollar price tag to begin with ... his approval..We paid that price immediately. The job was not done to our satisfaction and most of the tasks that were suppose to be accomplished were not. We vehemently do not recommend Balfourfor any job whatsoever.
