It’s an okay place to work so far. Please do something about those speed bumps! It ripped my exhaust off and I had to take it to a shop to fix it and if this continues to happen I’m gonna file a lawsuit

From security to shipping office to yard jockey- everyone was very nice. I arrived VERY early. They took my trailer to a door and let me park my tractor out of the way for my 10 hr break!

I just work security for this site.. not much else. If ur a trucker reading this here is a tip. Guards no longer require ur pick up number. Site is 24/7 open to truckers first and last name is needed for entry and trailer # which we can see clearly. Once allowed in if u are picking up a load go right until u have a cross section make a left keep going back then another left. Go to dock #20 for shipping. Do not park in dock park across from it. Go inside, Deliveries or live unloads ( no pick up ) u are leaving with trailer u came in with, once u are allowed entry u go left go to dock #1 please drive slowly as u do cross an employee crossing area. There is a stop sign. Please stop do not roll through, dock #1 should be on ur right after the crossing... thank you! :)

What an unbelievable experience I had today when I called today. I spoke with Jennifer Kidder who went above and beyond when it came to helping me. She was polite, educated, and helpful. You could really tell she was a real go getter and most likely was in a leadership position. I dont know if she has prior retail experience but she definitely knows how to interact with a customer. If her boss sees this she should definitely be put in for a promotion.In closing. Jennifer really was helpful and even mentioned that I should shop my own way. Whichever way would be most comfortable for me. I told her I really appreciate that. Thats a good slogan for this place. Shop your own way! Anyway, I recommend this place and Jennifer for a promotion.

I ordered and paid for a garage on 21 April 21 and still do not have it. I called on 15 Sept was told it was shipping 17 Sept. When it didnt arrive I called and was told a ticket was created to pack and ship on 20 Sept. On 20 Sept I was told it was back ordered and they could not give me a new ship date. This company has the dumbest production scheduler, planners and manager on the face of the earth. Complete and utter Mormons wining about part shortages. Its a garage door not Abrams tank.

Made it to this customer early & on time. Gave me a eta to be loaded up in 2 to 3hrs. 3rd hr i called and the guy tells me it’s going to be another 5 to 7hrs. I then tell him I can’t wait to be loaded that to long and I’ll be late to my customer and my clock running. He then tries to tell me just go to the customer late and he gives me attitude starts cursing at me and hangs up not only once but twice. Don’t EVER GO HERE OR U WILL BE SORRY

Its been 11 hours(!!!) since i checked in,and they still loading. Other drivers parked along with me whole day, waiting to get loaded too.This place is slowest ever in my 8 years trucking experience.

We purchased 3 insulated garage doors from Clopay in July 2018 with the highest R value they make in order to have the best doors possible. When they installed them in September 2018, there were huge gaps between the panels and they were pouring rain, snow, and ice into our building, along our walls, and into the insulated door panels. We immediately asked for our money back, but they required us to wait for them to make a new set of doors that they assured us would be right.4 MONTHS LATER in February 2018 they finally installed 2 of the 3 new doors, but they were leaking and had gaps too so we told them to stop and not waste their time or money on the big 12 x 12 door. We immediately reported the problem. The customer service rep came out. We told her we had to get our business opened and that we were closed down until we had doors that sealed the heat in and the precipitation and elements out. We told them we had waited way too long and the monthly bills for the new building were due every month but we were unable to earn the income required to pay them as long as they had our building shut down. We told them they had their chance and we wanted a refund.They assured us if we went down from an 18 r value to a 9 r value we would not have any problems. We reluctantly agreed to the 3rd chance. 6 weeks later when I checked in on the delivery date, they still had not even approved the new doors and production had not even begun yet. We demanded a refund, which we got about 2 weeks later. We were still told countless times they would be reimbursing us for our damages.I have sent them over the itemized damage list and every week Im told they will get back with me. It has been 2 months with no resolution offer. They keep saying theyre talking to the lawyers and will get back with me (only when I email every week for an update) yet still not a single offer from these people. The continued delays on our damages is as bad as their continued delay on the warranty process.DO NOT BUY CLOPAY unless you want problems and horrible customer service

0 stars for shipping dept. In at 9:30am out after 6pm. Will never service this location with our trucks.

I applied here this week during open interviews. I was literally 20 minutes early and the first person signed in. I applied for third shift weekends. I was interviewed by the guy who runs that shift. I am not gonna put his name but I can tell you this he has literally no heart at all. I had a solid work record from 1998-2017 zero gaps. I have someone I still work for when I am needed to this day. I have tons of factory exoerience and excellent references. The reason I hadnt worked from 2017 full time was because my mother has dementia and i had a child to take care of. He has rhe nerve to tell me my work record was spotty. I said no it isnt. I said call any one of my ex employers or anyone I worked with. He sqid well I need you to get another job hold it and come back. I said sir I need someone to give me a chance. I am a hard worker, this weekend shift is exactly what I need so I can work full time and still care for my mother and child. I said pleaee you wont regret it i dont call off I dont call off I am always early i have NEVER been terminated. He said no thanks I am going to have to pass. What hurt mw the most the same person hired my girlfriend and her work history is exactly the same. I mean how ignorant can he be? We literally are in the middle of a pandemic as well. I dont feel being a stay at home mom and taking xare of your mother is spotty work history. So if anyone knows of factories doing the weekend full time shift please let me know. I dont do drugs I am hard worker and i have excellent professional and personal references.

The wait is long when they busy, but they allow you to drop your trailer and leave when is loaded they call and they also let you park on sight. Not to babe and the people that work in the shipping department are very nice. The yard guys are another bunch of good folks. Waited but they still good. Will definitely pick up here again.

I arrived here at 10am to pick up a load going to Pennsylvania and it is now 8:15pm still waiting. Completely ridiculous.

I arrived at my appointment for 1 hour before the time that I was supposed to arrive, these people told me to leave my trailer and that they took 2 to 3 hours to load me I do not recommend any truck driver to come to this place unless they pay at least 6 dlrs per mile because these people do not serve I checked in at 6 am and they checked out at 7 pm this company is inconsiderate their trailers have priority we are not interested

Nice folks but they dont unload on the weekend I was 2 days early. if you get stuck here go back to the truck stop and get a Lyft or Uber and explore the city.Theres lots to see in Dayton

I had a panic attack while I worked there when I was in the process of getting medication for it and I let my supervisor know. He sat me down in a chair at front of another person got Id I with me which is something that you should not do when someones having a panic attack to ask me if Im OK and it theres a mental illness that he doesnt know about. Then after I finally collected myself because I was given the option to either get back on the line for pretty much get fired I was given a ride up the next day for leaving the line without possible cause. And not to mention this happened during the whole Kobe pandemic and Im sorry but where is a garage door and assess city

Check in at guard shack. Drop n hook. Go to the shipping office around back of building. Sign paperwork and get paperwork. Drop empty trailer in drop lot with doors open. Get loaded trailer# on paperwork. Check out at guard shack show paperwork and verify seal number.

Clopay is a great garage door manufacturer and employer! They do have some problems with their shipping dept which is why many, if not all of the 1 star reviews you see exist (they are from drivers). However, as an assembly employee there Ive seen them recently make changes to fix this. Most notably was an increase in the compensation of their shipping employees in order to improve retention and adequately staff the shipping dept. That is a company putting its money where its mouth is. Positive changes will come, drivers. Customers, these are well made garage doors and clopay will always take care of you!

They tend to have the issues of not dishin out paycheck right I’ve work there over a month and only gotta 1 outta 3 paychecks the 3rd will be Friday cause I sure don’t see that in my account at the right time

Ive been employed here for about 9 months now and they are a great company. Id have to say that Clopay has some of the nicest garage doors as well as entry doors. If you are looking for a job or a door this is the place to come to.

If you come here to deliver mk sure you have had a shower & food papa john delivers we have been here for 7 hrs and still counting not sure why

Shipping has some very friendly people. Always trying to load swiftly, exporting company hasnt had issues for Mexico.

Carriers, be prepared to stay here all day long.It took us 9 hours to get loaded, drop a trailer and then youre waiting for a call that its ready.

I been told from the broker its take around 8 hours to load.You need to drop the trailer and you can stay or you can go to the truck stop which is very close .Driver drop his trailer the night before and trailer its loaded at 23:30 at next day night .Very slow stay away .
