We purchased a large, 13 year old home in Michigan in 2013. After checking out several home automation providers we decided on Spire. The planning stage was thorough and covered everything from wiring to specific equipment requests. Because this was an existing home, fairly extensive infrastructure prewiring was needed. The crew was always considerate and meticulous in their work. Spire pretests all equipment in their shop before installing so when this phase of the project begins, there are no surprises. Upon completion, a documentation package is provided along with training for the users. The system works beautifully. We can access everything in the home remotely including, security, door locks, lighting, HVAC, audio/visual and security cameras. Follow up visits and service technicians are only a phone call away. The other important point to make is that there were no last minute surprises in terms of cost. The quote we received at the beginning of the project never changed unless we made an additional request. To summarize, every person and experience we have had and continue to have with this organization has been first class and extremely professional. I recommend them without any hesitation.

Recently we had a very large renovation to our home and wanted to update our internal communications for our TVs and music along with smarting our older home with as much technology as possible. This included security, heating/cooling systems and internet and cable services. After reviewing several other providers we opted for Spire. They have done a great job at overcoming some of the challenges our very rural home presented, handled all of the wiring and installation and have trained us on the entire operation of our system.
