I recently purchased a Goldwing front nose mask from Honda Powersports. The mask is very well made, easy to fit and has improved the look of my Goldwing. Right from the first contact prior to purchase the team at Powersports were very prompt with return emails / advice which made the purchase so much easier. The postage and handling was very quick once payment was made. I can highly recommend Honda Powersports of Troy to anyone wanting great service especially their online service to Australia. Thanks heaps.
I took my 2016 Goldwing in for two new tires. They had it three days. I pick it up, noise in the front end and wobble. It was NOT there before hand. Long story short two days behind on my trip I had planned... the service guy who was cool got me in on Tuesday. The mechanic attempts to tell me the noise I hear are brakes and that is normal. The wobble is normal too....2 hours later I leave the noise is gone, front tire pressure in incorrect and my valve cap is missing. 759 dollars for thisNo offense, just not the service one would expect for that money. I usually dont write reviews but I will not be back.
Very good family business, I wouldnt take my bikes anywhere else.
Excellent dealership, bought a 21 PCX here 6/21 and they took great care of me and all my needs, concerns and still do..Very helpful
I tried to call this place to ask a question about a Honda product that I wanted to buy, but when I did, they just picked the phone up and immediately hung it up on me. Guess I’m not doing any business here then. Good way to treat your customers. Doing a great job there.
We purchased a used trike from another state. It wasnt ridden or cared for. Honda Powersports has reworked the trike back to safety, making special accommodations for special needs. Although work is satisfactory, it seems that they are always short handed and mechanics are always off. Dont expect quick repairs, or thoroughness. Weve had to take trike back for issues which should have been caught as the trike was almost completely stripped and problems would have been easily seen. We are thinking about shopping around for future needs.
Easily by far the best buying experience I’ve ever had from a power sports dealer. I traveled from Cincinnati to Troy because they were the only dealer within 200 miles that had what I wanted. Dave knew this but did not take advantage of me and I feel like I got a decent deal. Every other dealer I’ve purchased from sends you on your way once you’ve signed the necessary paperwork. Not here! Dave spent the next 45 minutes to an hour going over the entire Pioneer 1000 in GREAT detail. I’ve never had another dealer do this. I highly recommend this Honda dealer and will use them again in the future.
Great service !!! Was very helpful.. great job guys......
Oil change and dream time in the showroom. Great experience.
Called to try and talk to the service department, never got thru. I was asked to leave my name and number and they would call. 4 hours later and no call.
I went in today took my 2003 Yamaha r6 in to get worked on, there were no bikes in there not one and they tell me that they don’t do transmission rebuilds over summer that it’s a winter project and can’t work on it till till September when they had no other bikes to work on I’m bringing them something I need done and bringing them money to there store and they refused me then as I am walking out they tell me if I don’t have it fixed by September to bring it to them. Yah no I’m good I’ll take my business somewhere else where there willing to help me. I would not recommend going there what so ever save yourself the trouble from trying to go there just to be rejected
My wife and I went here on a Saturday wanting to buy two Honda Grom motorcycles and due to them closing close to when we arrived we were only able to submit our credit applications and scheduled an appointment for Tuesday at 5 to finalize our paperwork and pick up our motorcycles. Today(Tuesday) we arrive an hour early for our appointment only to be told that our applications hadn’t been submitted yet and there was little likelihood that we’d receive our motorcycles. The salesman returned and informed us that not only could we not get both, but neither of our deals would be able to be done today with 3 hours left in their day and one other customer in the store. Called Honda of Fairfield and they are able to both process and complete our purchases today all before they close.TL;DR don’t go here, they will waste your time.
Great establishment for any experienced or new road pirate! As a first time buyer I didnt want to get a weaker vessel I would get bored with and have to upgrade later. So instead of getting the suggested 700 I bought a mighty 1200 geared low with an air horn. I gotta say the only thing that tickles this pirates tinders more is a mead thirsty foxy minx. Overall a great establishment with knowledgeable and friendly service!
Great experience with Dave and Shane on a new bike purchase!
Called to ask if their showroom was open to public due to the coronavirus craze. Asked if there was a 2020 Honda Rebel on the showroom because I was interested in buying one. Forgot the person name on the phone who took my call but I guess it takes 2 days to check the Sales team to look for a single Honda Rebel on the showroom floor. Screw this place. Ill just buy mine in Kentucky. One star for attempting to pick up the phone. - 9/19/2020Update 9/30/2020 - Still no call back. Great job.
Awesome buying experience! Would highly recommend!!
Very friendly staff. Great service and they go out of their way to make sure you know how to use and service your purchases
We have been a customer for years. The staff goes out of their way to help you. Always professional, friendly and courteous. I always recommend this business to anyone need repairs not matter the make of the product.
Blake (employee or owner of Honda of Troy) agreed to a price for a PWC trailer he had listed on FB Marketplace and backed out when I was driving to buy it the very next day. Claims another called afterwards and he was holding it for them instead. Failed to inform me until I reached out and let him know I was on the way (2 hour drive). Unprofessional and unapologetic.
Good place to buy you a motorcycle
Great selection. worthy of a stop even just to take a look
Their customer service sucks. Parts section was busy and said they would give me a call back and I have yet to receive a call from them.
Honda Powersports of Troy is a great dealership to deal with from start to finish. I contacted the dealership by email and Blake got back to me right away. We quickly settled on a price on a new Honda and the range for my trade-in. I had to drive over 6 hours to pick up my new bike but they made the process very easy and painless. No pressure and the paperwork was handled quickly. I have bought a lot of new and used vehicles over the years but from the owner on down this dealer was the best. Thanks again.
Recently had my bike sent there for work on my bike after my accident. They replaced the wheel and tire and was told it was inspected for any other damage. I get home and notice its not really running too great. I look underneath and my exhaust is completely pinched in. They agreed to have it fixed no problem. I go to pick it up one more time and my floorboards were completely loose while riding down the road! Little to no acknowledgement towards my safety or how this experience has damaged their reputation as a shop that takes care of their own!
Just bought a bike from here, I will never go anywhere else. World class service from start to finish one of the easiest purchases Ive ever made. Never once did I feel like a customer they treated me as family. I will be back for more...
Friendly and helpful employees
Just bought a SxS here. Sales experience with Nick Begley was the best Ive had. Super helpful and no hassles. Highly reccomend if you are in the market for a Honda.
My husband took a piece from his motorcycle up there today to see if they could help him get these screws out. They were too tight for our drill to get them out. We’ve never given them any of our money/done business with them before yet they treated my husband as if he’d been a long time valued customer. They genuinely wanted to help him. The manager and a girl named Tina I believe helped him without a penny being spent with them before and we couldn’t be more impressed with their customer service. We WILL be giving them our money and business from here on out! Amazing!
Applied for financing on a bike to be told “We’ve been trying to work out a deal for someone on that bike for 2 weeks sorry” had $3000 cash to put down on bike, do not trust their website you will e up wasting your time
Came over from Indy to buy a motorcycle. Daves communication was great and he was very accommodating. Well worth the trip.
They sold me a used motorcycle that I was only able to ride 2 or 3 times. I would have trouble getting it started and eventually it wouldn’t start at all. I contacted Hidy Honda Powersports and they pretty much told me “Sorry about your luck, we’re not going to fix it.” I ended up selling it to a mechanic and lost about 6 grand through the whole ordeal.
A couple of old guys whos wifes thinks were looking for wheelchairs as were both in mid 70s wound up buying a new motorcycles. The whole deal was as nice as any salesman could be.all we can say is thanks and Run Nick Run when our wifes find out
Extremely frustrated with the service department. Took my goldwing trike to get electrical problem repaired. After 3 weeks and two phone calls, they said they just couldnt fix. Took it home and in 3 hours my son-in-law had the problem isolated and Im back to riding again. Wasted three weeks....would not recommend.
Just ask a couple of questions to one of their motorcycle techs and he really couldnt give me a definitive answer. Seems like a nice dealership but it was my first time stopping in so thats about all I can say
Completly professional! I had a flat and I called them around 9 am on a Saturday...on a Saturday.blake had me bring it in and him and his partner scott fixed it together .they are awesome.they didnt waste any time. I will use them again.the quality and service is worth the price!
First time at Honda Powersports of Troy. Spoke with Zach on the phone the previous day before going in. He was extremely helpful answering my questions and comparing items that I was wanting to purchase. Just as helpful in person as over the phone. The have a great selection of motorcycles, gear, and accessories. Highly recommend shopping with Honda Powersports
The service is top notch.
Very poor service from this place it’s like their mechanics smoke meth or something cuz I got my 02 400ex back with parts that were not even tightened down and my quad set up there for two months do not trust this place
We go there each time he needs help with the Honda. Very knowledgeable and professional. Highly recommend.
Great customer service, great prices. Hubby found perfect helmet. Thank you guys.
Keeps parts in stock for my older ride. Good variety of gear as well.
I recently went in to get my Honda mower serviced for the beginning of the new mowing season. Upon entering the service department, I was immediately greeted by the service manager Blake. He was able to wheel the mower in the back and began working on it. He seemed very knowledgable about what needed to be done. After getting the oil changed, blade sharpened, and spark plug replaced, I was ready to start mowing. Before leaving, he made sure everything was running smoothly before allowing me to leave. I will bring my mower back for future service.
January 2017 We were having issues with an older Honda ATV that we use in our livestock operation. It was not wanting to start on cold mornings. After speaking with Dave (I think that’s his name, owner in sales), we decided it was time to look at a newer model. He spent several hours going over every possible option. The new ones are built different, will start in the cold he said. I was skeptical. We settled on a Rancher and it has been a great piece of equipment. This winter (17-18) has seen some super cold temps early in the morning and it starts every time. Great dealership, Blake in Service is great to work with too. Even tho it’s over an hour away, we will continue to use these guys.
Took a four wheeler down to get no spark diagnosed, never could get ahold of anyone always “busy with a customer”. the bill came out to over $600. Declined service, paid the $112 for the hour they looked at it, got it home and the four wheeler was missing a bunch of parts and nothing was put back together right. Called to ask about the missing parts and they said yes we have them “ I put my technician on the spot to put it back together “. After this experience will for sure not be back.
First off, I didnt buy my bike from here so no bias. But Ive only had my Honda serviced here. The department is clean and friendly. Upfront about estimates, wait time, and know exactly what your bike needs. Even installed accessories for me. Highly recommend the trip if youre not close, I come up from Dayton.
I’ve been working with Honda of Troy since the mid 90’s and they never disappoint. Recently I had the pleasure of working with Blake, and I just wanted to say that he went above and beyond right through the follow up process. Highly recommended working with the whole HoT team as I’ll still call them and 2 thumbs up for Blake.
Absolutely no complaints. When the two dealers close to me could not help, Blake and crew stepped up and went over and above. Just the kind of service I expect. It was worth the 50 mile ride...
I recently purchased a motorcycle there and had a great experience. Everyone we saw at the dealer was very friendly and informative. And yes, EVERYONE, the salesman, the owner, the guy at the parts counter. The bike I purchased was hard to find and they were kind enough to hold it for me until I could make it there to sign papers. I would definitely recommend them to everyone and will be a return customer.
Large selection of various types of bikes. Friendly staff. Extremely clean place 💯
Very nice powersport shop. The workers are always extremely friendly.
Good selection super friendly staff. Not pushy either!
Needed 2 rear tires for an older 4 wheeler. Great help, replaced the tires in 30 mins. Great store and customer service!!
Sales guy was at the desk when I walked in. Didnt greet me, and didnt even look up at me. Its okay, I was there for parts anyway. Waited at the parts counter for ten minutes. Nobody in sight. A guy and a girl came out, with the girl obviously in training. I understand the need for training, but it shouldnt come at the expense of the customer. It took me 30 minutes from walking in to leaving with my two items.
Steve is the guy! Walking catalogue, he is. Need it? Youll get it. Friendly atmosphere.
So I originally gave this place 1 star due to a bad customer service. I went in there during my lunch break and stood there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to help me. I was there to buy a mower with cash in hand and not one salesman came over to me after making eye contact several times. I called after returning to work and talked to Dave. I told him what happened and he greatly apologized and talked me into coming back in after work. I walked in and told the receptionist i was there to see Dave. He was very helpful and explained the mowers in details and 30 minutes later i walked out with a new mower. I would like to add that i purchased the mower for a lot less than it was advertised thanks to Dave.
Looks like a nice dealership. Couldnt get inside because I live two hours away and checked their hours on their website before I left. They were closed for the holiday weekend. There was a piece of paper taped to the door near their hours that along with their website indicated they should be open but the paper said closed for Labor Day weekend. Frustrated they didnt have the consideration to also include this info on their website. What a waste of time. Thanks Honda Powersports of Troy.
Had to stop back rite away after front brake replacement. Air pocket or something in the line. Brakes also seem to be hanging up a little. I was told to see if it gets better after a little riding. Hasnt gotten better after 200 miles. Not real happy with the service. Went back a second time and they said it was good to go. It is still the same. Starting to wo der if the recall was even done or just said it was?
Always have to order the parts I want. Two trips. Online is looking attractive.
Went in on Wednesday at 6pm to but a CRF250. Spent about 15 min in the showroom. I was the only customer in the store, and the employees appeared bored, but did not bother to help me.or ask if I needed anything. Went to Springfield and made my purchase.
Nice place and good selection. The staff was notch help. They are more worried about making a sale than to find the proper product.
I have purchased three motorcycles here in Troy and find the service to be great. They tend to be slow and unresponsive on slow days but you cant be afraid to ask for help. I also agree that overall their service prices are high but they do have deals and do help out frequent customers. My only real complaint is the lack of interest in you, the customer when you havent made any large purchases.
Always professional great service all around . Do new bike demos too ! Thanks for letting me ride the new Goldwing . Awesome machine !
Worse place ever took a fourwheeler to the shop for a dino havnt got it back been 2 months bought parts for my dirtbike gave me 3 wrong parts bad place
Ok but they do the bare minimum. Not like a Triumph dealer where your whole bike is gone over. An oil change here is just an oil change. Staff is not friendly at all.
Nice selection and helpful staff, even if we were.just looking!
Went in looking for a small honda engine. I had all the specs needed, the guy at the service desk didnt know how or maybe just didnt want to look it up. Sent me to another company in Columbus. Asked if he knew of anywhere close and he said that place again. Absolutely no help buying a honda engine at Honda Powersports.
Good place to buy your new Honda motorcycle. All was good.
Purchased a dirt bike one year ago and a four wheeleryesterday from Honda of Troy. Would love to do more.Everyone was great!
WE ONLY DEALT WITH THESE GUYS OVER THE PHONE, BUT I GOTTA SAY THEYRE REALLY NICE TO WORK WITH, EXTREMELY HELPFUL, WONT STICK YOU FOR THEIR MISTAKES .
Good service and nice selection of bikes/apparel. A little bit pricey, but it is name brand Honda equipment, so it is worth it.
I was frustrated this weekend as I went in looking to buy a set of supports and bags for my 95 Shadow. I wandered around for a while and nobody offered, so I finally asked, and made clear that I was looking for a 1995, which is a hard year to fit. The sales clerk who helped me sold me a pair of supports for the wrong bike, but wouldnt even come look at my bike (which I rode up there). So now I have to return these supports, and theyve got weird return policies too -- because I paid cash I have to wait for a re-issued check. In short, very poor customer service. Wont be returning nor will I recommend.
Staff was very helpful with helping me order parts.
Great experience, the owner and service manager are always so friendly and knowledgeable
This Web site is one of the best motorcycle dealer sites Ive been to....I will b visiting the store tomorrow
Great buying experience
By mistake i sent a part to them over a year ago. After the run around of a employee trying to get me to put money in her personal acct on paypal and sending my address 4 times over them sending my part back they complained they wanted 10$ even though they ship for free to anyone else. It just shows how little they care about customer service.
I will try to be specific. I went to the Honda dealer to get a brake light bulb for a 1991 Honda XR250(street Legal, imported from Japan). The parts counter couldnt find the part number in his system. I looked it up online and returned later that day with a printout and the bike. The parts counter told me to buy it online since I found it there. I asked if they sold light bulbs, and could get a couple that were similar to find one. I got no help, still dont have the correct light bulb, but I did order a replacement lens. I then walked over to look at the new Interceptor 800, I have owned in the past and loved it. I currently ride a Yamaha FJR, so Im not a kid daydreameing at bikes, and Im middle aged. The salesman didnt know a thing about the bike, and thought he wouldnt sell any because it was overpriced anyway, (according to him). I have had previous slow experience with the service department. I actually had to come pick up a set of front forks to take them elsewhere to get them repaired because they were overpriced and hadnt gotten to fixing them yet. I used to love the old Honda store when it was in Troy many years ago. I would love it if they had staff that was more friendly, attentive, and knew about bikes!
Great local owned bike shop
Hi, been there twice. The first time that I went there the service was horrible. I did not want to go back, but decided to give it another try, I met Blake the second time i went there and received terrific service and would recommend them to anyone who is considering the purchase of a motorcycle or sport vehicle.p.s. if you are having any trouble with the store or customer service talk to the owner.
Hondas and motorcycle stuff.......perfection!
Steve Gordon is the best parts salesman in around
Awesome Honda dealer. New and clean.
Fantastic, reasonably priced, and quick service!
This is a great dealer... Honda cant be beat
Way over priced and poor communicators
Best place around for a New Honda. Thanks Dave and all the staff.
Took Honda Aquatraxes to dealer for fuel tank recall. Dropped off on Sat 4/4 received call 4/7 units were good to go Went to pick units up on4/9 units and covers were greasy. Talked to Blake Stradling service manager no explanation given. Took units home further inspection revealed loose bolts and missing clamp. Talked to owner Dave Stradling said this shouldnt be, would take care of problem. Went to pickup units 4/11 units clean, bolts tightened, clamp replaced. Grabbed paperwork, noticed wrong hours on unit questioned Blake, he started to argue with me. He had the wrong hours wrote down. Fueled units then took back to dealer to show correct hrs.WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HONDA POWERSPORTS OF TROY SERVICE DEPARTMENTBLAKE STRADLING HAS ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS & IS VERY ARROGANT . TWO TRIPS TO DEALER TO GET JOB DONE RIGHT. STILL DONT KNOW IF JOB DONE RIGHT
Great deals and service.
Had to hunt down someone to help me... Several employees standing around... They acted like it was a bother to help me.
Closed Mondays really? Must be nice!
Great service department!
Very nice clean store
Bought a crf 450x everything went smooth
Great mower service
Worst experience Ive ever had. Trying to buy a generator was worse than buying a house. Waited for two hours and was finally fed up. When Dave decided I was eligible to buy my genset and he was not the reason I waited 2 hours, I was furious. Got up and walked out.
Great selection and excellent service!
Great place good people
Great customer service
This is a cool place
