Love this shop! The inventory is both consignment and new product, rotating often. Ive bought both gently used and brand new stuff that I absolutely love. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful too!

I am a very regular customer of Randys--both buying and selling, and have been very happy with my experiences. There is a constant flow of new merchandise coming into the store and the pricing is very fair. The look and atmosphere have improved so much since they bought the store that I really enjoy dropping in to just look around on a regular basis. Randy and his wife seem to be really interested in helping me find or sell the things I need--even their dog is sweet. They are a great new addition to Truckee.

We have been shopping at Truckee Home Consignment for a couple of years, and have found some amazing pieces there. The new ownership/management has made the place even better, if that is possible. Good values, great quality. Super friendly and helpful. We stop in frequently and often find something.

You would not know that there is second hand furniture, art, lighting and more if they didnt tell you. Everything is in mint condition. They have everything from rustic to modern

The quality and selection is wonderful. Parking is never an issue and inventory changes frequently enough to make you want to visit frequently. The styles are definitely mountain-esque but more modern. Much of the furniture appears to be high end and very well made. Most items are consignment but there are new items as well.However 2 cons. One is not under their control. There is a gym/HIIT/sweat-insane-amounts place next door that plays their music obnoxiously loud during classes... or whenever. It permeates the entire warehouse. Pair that with the music that is playing in the shop, it is auditory overload. I dont know what can be done and I feel bad for the furniture shop, which was there first I think.2nd con are the prices. For consignment, much of the furniture is exorbitantly priced at least in my opinion. Example, and given I dont know the new prices, but $3500 for an obviously used (but still in very nice condition) sofa just seems high. Other items, such as chairs and cabinets can be over $700, again on consignment.Overall it is still worth visiting.

Consigned several pieces of furniture with Truckee Home Consignment. They did a great job and sold the pieces quickly. I highly recommend consigning furniture with this local family owned business.

Great furniture and house decor would recommend to anyone and the staff is amazing. The owner randy definitely knows what he is doing!!!!

Don’t take stuff here - Randy is completely unreliable. We sent pictures and he accepted everything until we showed up and then he didn’t want it. We had paid movers extra to load the items and deliver them. We are very disappointed in his business practices- the prior owners were much better.

High quality furnishings, modern and eclectic decor, excellent customer service. Always a fun shopping experience.
