This is a GREAT practice! Runs very efficiently and they really find every discount possible. Staff is friendly and welcoming. My whole family comes here and we are all very happy!

Laughably bad service at this point. No doctors available, no appointment scheduling methodology.I happily have stopped using this practice--they used to have great doctors who they shuffled off who knows where (they wouldnt divulge that info). After a few appointments with the replacement straight-out-of-school doctor, I realized that the only thing MyEyeDr. cares about is pushing me to buy overpriced glasses at their location.I had gone to this optometrist office since they opened YEARS ago. Its sad that a conglomerate has taken it over and ruined it. Clearly profits over Patients is the mantra here.

I am sitting in the parking lot writing this because this just needs to be said IMMEDIATELY. very rude, classist, annoying, woman with curly gray hair managing the office. I could sense the narcissism and self righteousness from the moment I walked in. I went to look at glasses and got the vibe that she just wanted me out of there. She kept staring at me as if she was wondering why I’m in the store. Like, can’t you see that I’m looking at glasses? It eventually made me so uncomfortable that I just walked out of the store. Too bad, because I was ready to spend a pretty penny on some Coach frames. Someone needs to fire her.

It was horrible, I accidentally got lost getting to their office. Tried calling the office to inform them but was unable to get in touch with anyone. Once I finally got there I explained to them how happy I was to finally make it since I had gone thru the whole getting lost ordeal and their receptionist very rudely told me one of the kids could not be seen and continued on with her conversation about boyfriends and personal issues outside of a profesional setting while throwing on the counter NOT HANDING my other childs insurance card. Its very sad and unfortunate that some people just dont care about their job or better yet their private practice since the doctor was listening from his own office the whole time. Needless to say I will not be recommending or going back there again. They just lost 6 patients for lack of professionalism.

I have really good insurance. It usually covers the full glasses. I usually go elsewhere but they were book for months so I ended up coming here as an emergency. Worst experience ever. The front desk receptionist was a little helpful trying to get me in as soon as possible. The dr was weird and not really friendly considering I was a new patient. Now!!!! When I went to get my glasses the guy tried to charge me over 800 for glasses. He first commented on how I had really good insurance. I usually don’t pay out of pocket for glasses only a $15 copay. and when I asked him why so much? He had added a million things without asking about my financial status. When I told him to break it down he eventually brought it out to $200 I was completely shocked. I do not recommend I’d rather be blind!

Just recently moved to Trumbull, CT and went here instead of my home location: Naugatuck. As many others have mentioned, the staff is rude especially in comparison to the Naugatuck staff. I asked for my perscription in copy format and was not only given an attitude by one staff member but then a second staff member as well. They should be more polite when it comes to confusion regarding inquiries, not annoyed. Even though it would be more convinient for me, ill go to another location in the future.

Appointment setup was cordial, and easy. Confirmation prior to appointment was nice. Dr. Sun was thorough and went through many options for consideration with my changing prescription strength and the possible addition of a multi-focal contact. The front staff was helpful, and Leshorne was a pleasure to deal with in picking out a new pair of glasses. I think they called within 3 days to tell me my glasses were in!

I have been dealing with My Eye Dr since first set of glasses. This was my first time at this location. My first visit was interesting where the rep refused to allow me to look for the glass I WANTED. She would ignore what I said I liked and didn’t like. Yet pushed her own interest.My glasses arrived later than I was informed. I had to contact the store to find out why they hadn’t arrived when I was told they would.On my second visit, I was being helped by one rep who said she would get my glasses. After coming back to ask me the spelling of my last name 2x. The third time she tells me another rep would help me. Yet this rep came back out without any knowledge that he would be doing so or my glasses. Instead to address the concerns of another customers whom came in after me.When the rep finally got to me, I was greeted with “Do you need something from me” instead of “how may I help you...”As a customer I truly did not feel like my business was valued!

I have never once had wrote a review in my life. Because my experience this morning at this specific office was so disorganized and unprofessional, I will be taking my records elsewhere to another office. First off, the doctor and technician themselves were pleasant and helpful. Once my eyes were dilated, I was sent over to work with a lady named Teri? She was incredibly condescending while working with me. She gave me a hard time about my choice to not pick out a frame at the office. She couldn’t get my information sorted out on the computer; running back and forth. I had paid for my visit and then she let me leave. THEN, as I’m off to my next destination, she calls me with an attitude saying..” You’re supposed to see your doctor, you need to come back”. She let me leave without mentioning anything about my doctor needing to evaluate me again. Then as I came back, she had nothing to say, couldn’t greet me again and my time was wasted without any apology. I am honestly appalled and never have had to deal with poor service when going to an appointment. When I came back, I discussed my concerns with the doctor and he wasn’t even surprised and told me I could go to corporate to discuss my experience. Not even worth it, I’m all set. For those of you considering the this place, please go elsewhere and save your time and frustration.

Likewise the majority in here, I had a terrible experience in this place. I will not back to this place, even if I have to drive to Westport. The lady was rude, she yelled at me becuse my mask accidentally came off, while I was 6 feet away from everyone. Not helpfull at all.

EVERYONE in this center is amazingly helpful. They all show high expertise levels and patience and are keen to answer your questions. I have been going there for about 2 years and MyEyeDr Trumbull is favorite for us. I hope they will continue doing the great work ! Best wishes

Not what it used to be! Got my appointment 2 weeks ago, first visit ok. My follow up appointment was canceled for whatever reason, and the only option was 2 more weeks. I went by to pickup my prescription and was told that it can only be release by the doctor once he saw me. It used to be pleasure visiting the store, now it feels more like I hate going there to see what will I find this time. I am waiting for a waiver of professional courtesy to see if they can see me earlier to finalized the so call contact fitting. I have been using contacts for 10+year. Just take the prescription and buy online without the pushy sales person

We will never use this practice again.What a nightmare!Receptionist is extremely rude.My daughter is legally blind in one eye and has been without glasses for 17 days. They promised it wouldnt be longer than a week / week and a half the latest. They even promised theyd put a rush on the order! Disappointed!! I now understand that they do not have their own lab, the ship the orders out, this would be helpful information.

My family and I have been going here for the last three years. I feel like the staff continues to get worse every time I call and/or visit. From scheduling an appointment to picking out glasses/contacts to billing, it seems to get more painful each time. The actual exams seem to go well, but something else in the process always seems to go wrong. Ever since the change to myeyedr a few years ago, it seems to have gone downhill. I think I could call with a question 5 times and get 5 different answers depending on who answers the phone (and then they always blame things on the system). The location is convenient, but seems like it is time for a switch.

I used to reccomend this place to absolutely everyone back when Dr. Seaforth(sorry if thats the wrong spelling) and Dr. Mazer were there (aprox 1-2y ago) the staff was so kind and helpful from the receptionist to the glasses fitting techs.As of my last appointment and experience here I will not be returning, until they do some serious retraining and possibly a new Ophthalmologist, you too should take your business elsewhere.Dr.Sun was rushed and dismissive I felt like my prescription was wrong once I received my glasses and I literally had to convince him that they were not right for me as if I were lying about having subpar vision. Maybe if my exam were longer than 5 minutes and he took the time to listen to my concerns I wouldve gotten the right glasses the first time. Ive worn glasses for 15+ yrs and this office made me feel like I was inconveniencing them with my buisness. The receptionist was on the computer for 3minuites typing away before my presence was even acknowledged, Im not expecting to be seen straight away but a small hello we will be right with you is just common courtesy. Then the pushy saleswoman who couldnt put my order thru and took forever. From start to finish I was there for much too long. Honestly the worst experience Ive had overall. After all the back and fourth I got new glasses that fit properly and were the correct prescription, but should not have been that hard.

This may be the frist review I have ever given. Im usually not one to waste my time doing them, but this place is by far the biggest joke of a business I have encountered. Not only did I feel like they overcharged me for my exam ($100), my insurance is supposed to cover it and they are an in network provider. But then they tell me the exam isn’t what is needed to order my contacts because the Dr that did the exam has left and didn’t sign off on the exam. Then, none of the receptionist people can get you a straight answer and give you the run around. When I asked them to speak with someone higher up there was no one around, and I asked them to have someone call me multiple times and no one has yet to do so, I have tried three different times. Needless to say, this was an awful experience for something that has been seemless at other offices. It is my first and last time doing business with them.

I saw Dr. Seaford back in Sept. 2017 for a contact eye exam. While she was very nice, I didnt have a good experience with this place. I had to go back soooo many times to get fitted because the trial pairs didnt work well for me. We ended up going back to using what I used to have. I called to ask for prescription and they convinced me that they would price match if I order my contact lenses through them, which I did. However, the box Ivd received was defective so I took it back for a replacement. They gave me a trial pair in the meantime. Afterwards, I kept getting text messages saying my contact lenses are ready for pick up and it wasnt ready when I went there multiple times. I tried to give them plenty of time to order but I had to keep calling to find out the status. Now its January 2018, I had to call to see if my replacement is ready and of course they didnt even order a replacement for me. Ive never had bad experience like this one!

I have been seeing Dr Seaford for the past three years or so. I have never been as pleased as I am with the care I receive at this office As a senior, she has taken amazing care of my eyes and completely disagree with the one star rating this office was given by another patient.
