They make me feel safe and secure that what they are telling me my car needs is the truth. They don’t over charge and are always so friendly! Definitely worth the price and time to come here!!

I would recommend Express Oil without reservation. My wife and I were visiting our daughters family to pick-up our granddaughter and we had issues with our brakes when we got into town. We took our truck to Express Oil Change and they worked us in as I had mentioned we were traveling back to Florida the next day. They ran into some unexpected issues with our repair but stayed late to make sure they were satisfied with the safety of the vehicle before letting us leave. I was moved that someone really cared about customer service and going the extra mile as that is something you dont find now-a-days. First class people and a first class operation. Thanks Mr. Brown and staff.

Showed up on Lab Day at 1:30pm to get an alignment since I bought new tires. They said it they were busy so I scheduled an appointment later that day at3pm. I arrived on time for my appointment and they said it may be more than the 45min they originally said because they took on another job and it was complicated! Why have appointments then! Anyways, I said I will leave it with them, big mistake! That meant I would be pushed down the queue! I showed up at 4:40 and they said they don’t even have it on the rack! Stupid me, I said I would continue to wait on it. I have so much time invested so far. Finally done at 530. Why offer appointments!!!!!!!!!!

The manager at this location is so professional and kind. I came in after 5 on a Monday needing two tires for a work vehicle. He was able to get the two tires I needed from another location without asking me to go to another store and was also willing to stay late so that they could do the wheel alignment for me as well. He and his staff were all polite and friendly even though they were working late. They got me back on the road in a timely manner and was safe to drive to my destination. Great job!!! I would definitely recommend them and use them again!

The team at Express Oil came to my rescue. They removed a dead squirrel from under my hood. It was ghastly gross since it had been in there a few days. They did it without complaint and cleaned my motor to eliminate the dreadful smell. They were courteous and very kind to me and I am very grateful.

Got my oil changed and got to the interstate and thought something was going to blow up. The skid plate was not secure. This is the 2nd time this has happened with this location in Trussville. Nothing express about this as I had to return for them to fix and had to wait in line.

3/4 Experience was terrible.1. Front Desk Guy #1 was rude.2. The hub caps poorly replaced after tires mounted / rotated.3. Front Desk Guy #2 was probably the only competent person they had and helped fix the hub caps back in place.4. Right Side Passenger Mirror was bent inward, stuck in place, and missing one of two bolts. They denied any damage.Will not return.

The guys at Express Oil Change were simply awesome. They not only got me in and out in 20 minutes I answered all of my questions that I had about my car. Theyre so thorough that they even gave me handwritten notes on what particular fluid I was looking for and that my car required. I was simply blown away. I just want to thank all the guys at the Trussville location of Express Oil Change let them know that I appreciate all the hard work that they put into each and every guest. It was very clear that day that I will go nowhere else for an oil change. Thank you again.

Had my oil changed there on three different occasions on different vehicles...each time they messed up. the first 2 times oil disappeared within a week. the third time oil pressure dropped within a week and suv shutdown in traffic...run far away

Had a great experience with Express Oil Change/Tire Engineers in Trussville. My wife and I had just bought a used car and we found a small issue right off the bat and took it Express Oil Change. It was a very minor fix and they had it ready in about 20 minutes with no charge. We were very impressed with their service and honesty, so when we had a much larger issue a few days later, we took it back to them. They diagnosed the problem on a Saturday morning and had it repaired and back to us that afternoon in hours under their original time estimate. Fantastic people and wonderful service...we will continue to use them in the future for all of our auto care needs.

Went to Express Oil Change On Huffman Road Called Before Arriving Was Told To Come And They Would Be Able To Assist Once Arrived I Was Told To Come Back Another Day Because They Was Too Busy Which I Literally Had Just Spoken With A Employee By The Name Of Cory 5 minutes before I arrived and was told I was Okay To Come. So, I called Express oil on main st explained my situation to the service manager by the name of Donny Smith he assured me If I was to come by 5pm he would get me taken care of I arrived at 4:45pm and was for surely taken care of by 5:45pm I Highly Recommend Main St Express Oil Everyone there is very professional and quick.

I took my vehicle in to have tires checked and air pressure checked. After driving home with the vehicle, I noticed the center piece crest missing one of the front tire wheels, a tire stem cap missing, and all tire caps loosened on the remaining three tires. I was also told by a staff member at Express prior to finding this damage, that I needed new tires. I felt there was still plenty of tread on the tires, so I told him I was not interested in replacing. The stem cap missing, and tire wheel crest missing, and all other stem caps loosened on the remaining three tires were what I believe to be a direct retaliation for not wanting to let them do further service on the tires.I also took my vehicle in on a prior repair for an oil leak and was told the problem was a bad water pump and was charged $1,300 for the repair. The oil leak was never addressed nor repaired. After the water pump replacement, my car was driven so hard during a test drive by one of the express oil staff that it took 45 minutes for the car to cool down and the fan never came on. When I called to ask to speak to the mechanic that drove my car, the manager Barkley was rude, and refused to let me speak to him. I hope this review is posted in order to warn others.

I had a air leak from a screw in my tire. Dropped off my truck and they called me when they finished patching and it is good as new. They completed the work in the time frame they shared up front. I recommend this location.

I have been to three different express oil change locations and I have never waited less than 45 minutes. You advertise a 10-minute oil change but even with one car in front of me I still wait 30 to 40 minutes you should change your advertisement its never a 10-minute oil change.

Superior, uplifting location. By name, I can say Taylor listens and is so understanding. Donny goes the extra mile and is really thorough to explain things. Delilah is honest and beyond kind. And I go out of my way to go to this location for my car needs. You can count on the whole team to treat you with respect and southern hospitality. Oh and I always think its funny how people from all walks of life stay engaged watching the Hallmark channel or TVland Classic in the consistently clean and stocked lobby, including intentionally positive reading materials on the counter. Other mechanics can carry a heavy or greasy feel while you wait for sticker shock. But Im happy to bring this location treats like donuts from time to time just to say thanks, especially for how they update you on what to expect with your car even if they have to deliver bad news! Bottomline, a loyal mechanic location in life really can reduce your stress load. It has been for my family!

Love this location. You dont need an appointment. They Always pin point the issues. Hurt me bad when I got the amount, but after going to 3 locations I now know whats wrong with my vehicle. I definitely recommend.

Do not take your vehicle here. It took them three attempts before they realized that you need a 10mm socket to disconnect a battery. The manager is a pathetic old con artist and when you try to reason with him he will slam the door in your face then sprint down the hallway and hide in the building to avoid addressing issues that they cause. Truly a disappointing experience. I would give it 0 stars if Google allowed it.

Perfect! I needed my brakes serviced so I tried one place and they tried to charge me an insane amount for my two front breaks alone. Contacted here and they ended up replacing all 4 for way way cheaper than I was quoted at the first place. John and Eddie were fantastic! Super friendly, very informative and knew what they were both talking about and doing. I was also told I needed new rotors, but John and Eddie were able to fix those right up without replacing them to save some money. They got started a little late but stayed over the needed time to finish it all up. Will definitely return. Super happy about their work and my experience

This shop is always so fast and friendly. Rick is such a great mechanic and such a friendly guy. I can always trust that this shop is not adding on additional charges for no reason.Did add a last minute rotation because I was told that it could be done in less than 30 minutes however it ended up taking an hour.

Luckily for me this location was right off the interstate and I made it to a business next door to them. A wonderful employee (Rick Kennedy) noticed my predicament and quickly came to see if I needed help. He replaced my wipers and I didn’t even have to get out of my car. (Pouring rain). I didn’t get his name but on my receipt the initials are AA- he was awesome! I brought in my new car to get its first oil change and he made the process really easy. He even checked my car manual to make sure he reset my oil light correctly and at the right mileage. I know that probably seems simple, but for someone who doesn’t know a lot about my car yet, it meant a lot! I got a $5 new customer credit which is great when buying the more expensive synthetic oil. Highly recommend this place! Very nice/friendly also.

The workers took advantage of me being a young girl and tried to charge me over $200 for an oil change. I literally started crying while I was there

I went in there to get air in my tire and they popped my tire then tried to pressure sale me a new one. Will never ever use this location again. Called Barney and was hung up in extremely unprofessional.

Technicians were thorough and very courteous. They checked the concerns I had and truly did my oil change in about 10-15 mins. This location is a total care auto shop that does anything your car needs; alignments, sensor changes etc. I will be back.

Wish I could have gave them no stars on the mechanic shop I took my truck in to have brakes and rotors put on and they left off parts and had to take it back they keep it in the bay for 2 hours and then came out and told my husband and I that there was nothing wrong I dont suggest using the mechanic shop but oil change side is really good never had a problem with that part.

I took my car to this Express Oil Change with what I thought was a serious issue near the right rear tire and passenger door area. They looked around that area and recognized the issue and repaired it immediately! They didn’t charge me anything for the repair! I was so blessed, grateful and brought to tears. The guys-especially Blake-were helpful, kind, understanding and respectful. They will always have my business.

My wifes car had an overheating issue near this location so we figured why not it had a good rating. We were a little worried when we got the cost estimate as in being overcharged. However, after investigating how much the service provided normally cost. It was within that range. Im no car mechanic, so I cant speak on whether all the problems were there like some other reviewers posited. But I can say that their prices for services provided are fair. The car is no longer overheating and they were nice and responsive.

Because they were great two years ago I made an appointment online and received a guaranted quote the preceding week, when I show up on time for appointment tires not ordered or on site. Should have been, they go to warehouse to fetch them and get back almost two hours later with tires. Asked for parallel alignment check and brake check, did they do it, dont know notes not on invoice. Hard to buy something extra if one has to drag information out of them. Condescending to me when I asked, still dont know, no choice but to get inspection answers elsewhere.Tried to charge 150 more than the quote, then reduced it by 100, but never gave me credit for their advertised rebate.No discernable Covid-19 precautions.Seems to be an effecient Customer Reduction Plan. Disappointed in the customer service degredation.

After having a perceivably negative experience 4 months ago, Danny and his team set it back to rights this visit. The service I received today was great and I felt they really cared for me as a customer. Christina was kind and explained the steps she was taking, which I appreciated. Danny took time to come out of his office to make sure I understood what happened last visit and changes the company has taken to be more waste and cost efficient. He also ensured I felt at ease with the services provided. I would recommend this location and will come back for repeat visits.

Great service, but pricy. I would recommend. They do excellent work. They are higher, but you get what you pay for and you dont want to go cheap when servicing your car. My only complaint is that they are too far away from my hometown. I wish that we could find one in Oneonta, Asheville, or Springville, so I didnt have to drive all the way to Trussville to service my vehicle.

Super nice people, quality service. They dont try to sell you on a lot of services you probably dont need. But they offer a lot of services if you do need them. Theyve never patronized me like some places have. Ive never had a problem with the work or the way Ive been treated. This location is the only one I visit now, even when Im closer to another location.

Have taken all my cars to this location for years. All of the staff have always been very courteous, knowledgeable and very customer service oriented. Whenever some services needed to be performed on the cars they always pointed out my options and tried to save me money where they could. All repairs have been performed on time as promised and were done only once. If I could give any higher a recommendation to this location Id add another five stars!

My wife had them change the oil on her 2012 Kia Optima Turbo. They failed to recognize that it was a turbo and nearly caused the engine to burn up due to an oil leak caused by their negligence! Took it to Kia Trussville and they said they ask people NOT to use them because of problems. Express Oils negligence is going to cost me $400 and 4 days without a car!!!! I will never be back!!!!

We have followed Danny Hamm from Express in Pinson to Huffman to Trussville. He does a great job managing a reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. We recently took my daughter’s 2010 Honda Civic to have the air conditioner repaired. It quit working on a long, extremely hot drive from Indianapolis to Birmingham. We were surprised to be told the oil pan was close to falling off the car and the car had lost a significant amount of oil. Firestone in Carmel, Indiana has stripped the screw on the pan when they changed the oil. The crew at Express ordered a new oil pan and thoroughly checked everything on the car - from fluids to brakes. Trust is so important when dealing with mechanics and car issues. You can leave your car with these guys with total confidence.

Me and my husband was heading to Jasper Frome Gadsden when we got a flat tire. We pulled off at the nearest exit and pulled into express oil-tire. They didnt have the size tore we needed but was very friendly and patched our tired for us to make it to walmart to get one. We get to Walmart and wait 3 hours for them to tell us they couldnt get the tire off so we bought the new tires and headed back to express oil-tire. We talked to the same guy as before and he got the tire off and the new one on and balanced in no time. We had our 2 year old with us and to far out to call any one to help. This man didnt charge us for putting the tire on or using his time. We are truly greatful for him. Hes very good when it comes to knowing things about cars and will definitely be the person we go to for other thing. Tha k you! The mans name was John!

Ridiculously high,,,93 bucks for an alignment. I have new upper and lower ball joints barely a year old and they try to sell me more, say one is loose... Nice try guys!!

On 1-23-19 I went for a Lyft inspection. They claimed I needed both control arms replaced, a wheel bearing on the left needed replaced they said. They quoted me $1200. I did the work and nothing was fixed. I called and asked why they claimed I needed something I did not. It escalated to me calling corporate. Someone claiming to be area manager called me and I was told I was sad for trying to deceive them and not that I was a sad person directly because he heard the conversation, (they record calls with out customers knowing Im guessing because I was not told I was getting recorded) and thats why the manager was not fired. He went on to tell me that if I did not remove my initial negative review he was going to, have no choice but to turn over recording to Google and Lyft. In addition to that I was told Id have a free alignment which was not true as well. The only thing wrong with my car was the right, not the left wheel bearing. How many inspections and how much money were they going to try to get before they got to the real problem? Guess Ill never know. Now I went in there letting them know I was on disability and needed to get this done to go back to work. They knowingly lied to, coerced, and basically threatened an individual on disability. Go ahead and call Google and Lyft, I have paperwork, both yours and other mechanics and receipts for parts that were marked up 4 times what I paid.I*Edit*Mutually agreeable? Your company lied. Plain and obvious. I have the old control arms as proof.

Jim lunsford would be ashamed to see how the service has gone to hell ... just got the truck that I always wanted to fix up.took to trussville Express...the next day when the professionals at pepboys where mounting new tires, they did a customer service check,the nice or chipmunks had a condo in the air filter with screen TVs on wall. Brake fluid almost empty and then it was obvious that the service that Express oil used to have IS GONE...wont be back...

Very expensive thet charge double went to Walmart I got the tires for $56 a peice, they wanted $102 a peice

Poor, poor, service waited four hours for tires to be changed and door latch service. Lost center piece on tire rim and employee Carl King had poor customer service in dealing with my complaint. Management should have stepped in at that point.
