Super duper cute. Its the kind of warm, intimate and inviting charm thats lost on the big box bookstores youll find at a mall near you. Theres a diverse and satiating collection set up in colorful, quirky shelves littered with black cat figurines. The owner is kind and the shop smells blessedly of cookies.

Great prices on books, quaint spot to relax, have a cup of coffee, or chat with other customers. Although I do wish they had a better childrens selection. Coffee was pretty good as well.

Thus bookstore is great. It has an extensive and eclectic collection of anything you may be looking for. Dont sleep on this place. It is very cozy with all sorts of nooks where you can just hang with friends for coffee and pastries or just lounge alone out on one of the patios. And the atmosphere is made even more delightful by the sweet soft sounds of jazz floating through the shop..a perfect browsing experience. I highly recommend this shop!!

Great place. Nice book store with fresh ground coffee to sip like the old days. Friendly and civilized. Currently using volunteers and really would appreciate your patronage. Please come in and check out. Have some coffee or tea, buy a good book and let them know many book readers do not (refuse to in my case) patronize Kindle.

Great little coffee and used book shop. They dont have espresso drinks, just several versions of regular coffee plus some pastries. The coffee is excellent, and so were the baked goods. Good selection of books, too, and we bought a couple.We were passing by T or C on I-25 and found this place from a Google search. Very glad we did!

Friendly folks, friendly atmosphere, good free-trade coffee. The lady at the counter was a neighbor at a previous campground and it was fun to see her again. A fellow making beautiful stone & wire jewelry added a unique touch to this charming little bookstore.

The owner was so friendly and welcoming. The first thing she told us as we walked up to the counter was come inside and get warm, with a smile. We plan on stopping in next time we pad through T or C.

Great service. Fair prices for good, organic and locally roasted coffee. Relaxing, funky and friendly environment. Its en route from El Paso to Albuquerque and Im going to make this wonderful recent discovery a regular stop. Small tables surrounded by books and a very neighborly feel make this place a nice place to slow your pace for a bit.

Is it a coffee shop? Is it a bookstore? Its both!Lots of used books to browse through. Theres often a tarot card reader there doing readings. I like all the cute nooks and crannies in which to sit and read and hang out, and the restroom is very clean and roomy. The one thing I dont like about the place is that is always seems very hot.I think this place is only open on weekends.On the second Sunday of the month, there are open mic poetry readings.

What fun! We stopped in for a cup of coffee and found a (new and used) bookshop with a relaxing atmosphere and cozy spots to sit with your cup and review your purchases. If you need snacks with your coffee, there were scones or cookies.

Excellent place! Rhonda, the owner, welcomes one and all to her wonderful, retro used bookstore and coffee shop. Her husband roasts the excellent coffee.

Ditch your big-box experience for Black Cat. Reasonably-priced used books and good selection. Good coffee with prices to shame Starbucks, and half a dozen charming places to sit and enjoy it. You wont feel awkward spending a couple of hours, because no one seems to mind. Rhonda will gladly help you or chat if youd like, and shell leave you to your thoughts otherwise.
