I have been seeing Dr Anderson for 4 years and find him to be very caring, trustworthy, knowledgeable and professional. He saved my wifes eyesight. She went in for a routine check-up with dry eyes, only to find she had acute angle glaucoma, which can cause sudden loss of vision. Fortunately, he was able to do immediate laser surgery, and her eyesight has been perfect ever since. He has also been invaluable in diagnosing my own eye troubles and I recommend him highly.

Wrong address first off, at 614 McAdoo, the service was great, doctor was very nice and very thorough, explained everything in detail. Best eye check Ive ever had, and the glasses were half the price I expected! I see great!

The appointment seemed like it was going ok. I came in for an eye exam and to buy new glasses. I asked for the cost and the doctor seemed hesitant about explaining the price. He did it in a confusing way so that by the time I went to pay I ended up paying for much more than I thought I would but hey its the only place in town and due to an illness I cant travel out of town. So I paid for the glasses and the appointment and was told it could take 1-3 weeks to receive my glasses. At the two week mark I called and was told they should be in that week. I never received a phone call so I called at the end of week 2 and the Dr said they would be there by next Monday. Monday afternoon I called and STILL NO GLASSES. I was told they would be in the following day. I call Tuesday and still - NO GLASSES. My husband spoke to the receptionist and she told him she would have the doctor call the lab and give us a call that same day. They never called us back. That was yesterday. So I called today and after being hung up on twice, receiving several busy signals, and then having to wait several minutes as the phone rang with no pick-up I finally get in touch with the doctor. He answers and tells me that they are getting a shipment tomorrow (even though his receptionist said they would get a shipment TODAY) that he would call the lab (something he was supposed to do YESTERDAY), find out what is going on and call back today. We paid around $250 for the appointment/glasses and have been treated very poorly. This company lacks customer service skills and is clearly not above lying to patients and ignores phone calls. I DO NOT recommend this place.

Poor customer service .....office hours say they are open to 430 they were closed at 330....needed help getting my prescription got the run around.....if I can help it I will see that the V A doesnt use them any longer..... I sure wont be using them anymore

I am only giving a 1 although there should be a negative 5. I have gone to this guy for several years and this year he refused to make an appointment for me because of my medicaid/medicare insurance. He told me no one in town takes these types of insurance anymore in T or C. He tried to coerce me into making an appointment in his Las Cruces office and told me the only Optometrists taking these insurances were in Albuquerque and Cruces. Turns out Filmore takes these insurances AND they were nice and they got me in immediately. Everyone has their preferences and I will never ever suggest this place.
