I love this U-Haul!! The store is always so clean and inviting and the storage is amazing!! If youre looking for storage in the area, look no further. The team here is equally awesome, thank you so much.

The good: trailer was clean and the representative personally helped us hook it up. The drop-off was also simple. The bad: I would have appreciated a rep that showed a little more enthusiasm for his job.

It seems to take this location 20 minutes to help a customer. They take phone calls when they have 15 people in line. Went there twice on Sunday. First time 4 people left ahead of me after 25 minutes of waiting. Second time nobody minding the desk at 4:30 pm. Waited another 15 minutes and gave up again.

Not a good place to deliver.

I first got helped by Dillon who is very knowledgeable and very efficient.Best place around to get a hitch installed. Was originally quoted an hour and a half wait but the Manager, Eli took the initiative and got me squared away within 30 mins. Thank you for the quality work and getting me on the road quickly. I recommend this place above the other uhauls. Clean, organized and well run is the impression here. Till next time.

This is positively the worst uhaul ive been to. No idea of customer service. Theyll take there masks off to talk in my face like i didnt just say my baby girl is immune compromized.

Where do I start, trailer tyre had a nail and puncture from the start, u-haul roadside recovery failed to find a repair centre, trailer brake system was NON functional from the start of our short journey from Portland OR to Wilmington NC and finally it took over two weeks to receive a full refund and no further compensation was offered. This trailer very nearly caused a catastrophic accident, I am still waiting for the final apology and compensation letter from U-Haul. Be very very careful when hiring equipment for long distance drives, do not rely on the fact the equipment is appropriately maintained and check it over throughly yourself.

Simply put, the staff at U-Haul Lake Oswego made yesterday the smoothest and most pleasant moving experience of my life in regards to a truck rental. I had a truck reserved from 9am to 2 pm, and the pickup process was as painless as it could be. Was in and out of the office and in my 10-foot truck within 10 minutes. I ended up having some delays in the loading process, and when I called in they went ahead and extended my reservation through the day so I could take all the time I needed to get moved into my new place. Upon returning it, they got my return processed within 5 minutes. Excellent service, completely as quickly as possible. Will use this U-haul again! Thanks guys!

Security clicker doesnt work half the time, and they dont care when people park in prohibited areas for hours at a time.

The truck rental process is great if you have one of the happy employees helping you. The storage lockers are clean, more secure than other facilities and since this new manager Eli has taken the helm, the RV parking lot is lit up at night which seemed to be a safety issue for me. Rachel and its been my saving grace as she makes you feel she cares and your not just a locker number like most “corporate” controlled company’s.the lack of a star is due to the inability to reach the branch directly and sitting on hold for an average of 15 minutes for a storage question they cant answer anyway be because the calls are routed to “corporate” in another state. when you call the direct location and they are busy the calls are routed to corporate who then has a huge backlog. All they can do when you finalky get thru is to send a message thru the system to whoever is working. before you are transfered they give you several options to choose from but non deal with the direct storage unit rentals only U-box. i think this is a huge oversite. i think if someone has an urgent request there should be better handling. If you call to resolve anything close to closing you WILL NOT get a call back so be prepared to be frustrated. Dont plan they will followup because they will not. You will need to call them until its taken care of.

My ubox experience was the worst. We scheduled our ubox arrival around our cross country move date so we can immediately have our belongings when we arrived. On my guaranteed date of 6/30/20, I called uhaul and was told my ubox was arriving that day. On 7/1/20, to my surprise, I had to make numerous calls and spend hours on the phone because this original location in Oregon actually forgot to send my ubox cross country. If I did not call uhaul to check on my ubox, it would still be sitting in Oregon. I was told on 7/1/20 that a manager would contact me but this never happened. My family which includes a child had no mattress to sleep on, no couch to sit on and nothing to eat our food with. Every time I called uhaul, no one knew what they were talking about. It’s as if they all had computer systems that did not connect to the same information. Every time I called uhaul, I had to update them on the status of my ubox; even after my ubox arrived late at its destination, I was still being asked by uhaul if my ubox arrived. I was given wrong dates multiple times. I received inaccurate emails, one email even said my ubox arrived 7/2/20 when it didn’t (causing me more wasted time on the phone). Someone inaccurately removed my movers at the destination and put self-delivery which caused even more issues and time wasted on the phone. I had to spend a lot of time switching schedules and coordinating with my movers. I understand mistakes happen but my grievance is that I never received a sincere phone call to say sorry for the mistake or even a phone call to update me once they realized their negligence of forgetting to send the ubox. I asked to speak to the general manager in Oregon and I was told no by the reservation manager (nice to know the General Manager is too busy for a valued customer). I asked for a specific amount of refund but was told no. I can extend grace to a company that admits when they have messed up and treats me like a human being and is respectful. Unfortunately, based on my experience, this company did not care. Employees acted like a scripted robot with no heart.

I just wanted to take a moment and express my deepest gratitude for the wonderful customer service I experienced Today at the Lake Oswego location in Oregon. XD5 foot by 8 trailer that we rented earlier in the day in Tacoma Washington had a leak in the tire thankfully we found it before we experienced a blow out. We pulled up Add this location and was promptly greeted by Tiffany and Todd. Good golly where they great. They assisted us with getting the tire situation taking care of and since roadside assistance would have taken much longer they offered us a trailer swap. Also they provided us with warm fresh hot coffee and delicious black tea. The hospitality was superior. Thankfully Todd noticed that our trailer hitch was Incorrect for the vehicle height. So he kindly swap this out with a brand new one that works perfectly. Thank you so Much for taking the time to be so attentive. Although we will likely never visit this location again. I do highly encourage anyone in the area to mark this as a preferred location as the customer service here is top notch.

They know how to take a reservation but they dont know how to keep it. I reserved an RV spot online and was confirmed. I went to the location and viewed the open spot. When I got home I was called because there was a waiting list and they had to check with the rest of the list. Understood but I didnt get notice till the day before I was supposed to move in. They were nice people (two stars for that) but this isnt the first time UHaul has screwed up my reservations. Lesson to me is dont book online, its useless.

These guys are the best. Our hitch was not installed correctly when we got it in Seattle, but Scott fixed it up for us like a pro. Besides being much more qualified than the guys in Seattle, he was really pleasant to work with. That was such a relief!

When I went I heard a manager bragging to somebody about profiting from COVID19. Sad.

I had a hitch installed that was the wrong size and poorly installed. They agreed to install another one but it took over a month to get the (supposedly) correct one shipped to the store. When they installed it, it was still the wrong size (2 rather than 1.25), so they said they would order it again. Ive been waiting two weeks to hear from them and cant get an answer when I call. The absolutely worst customer service I can recall anywhere. I hope this review gets the attention of their manager Robert.

I love love love this storage place! All of the staff is very friendly and knows what they are doing and are more than willing to help and answer all of my question even when they are super busy. They also have a super fun inlatable arm man :)

Felix is amazing. I needed a cargo carrier & to change my hitch from a ball to a receiver, unfortunately they didnt carry the piece I needed for the latter. So Mr Boss Felix talked me through several options, including suggesting places to have a custom piece made. In the end we where able to determine what I needed, I purchased a cargo mount and receiver with instruction on where and how to get it welded. Amazing. Thank you Uhaul.

I have rented from the folks at Bridgeport in the past and have always found them very friendly, helpful and courteous. This was reinforced just yesterday when I attempted to return my 15 foot truck.Because the off ramp from I-5 to their location was closed by the police (due to a shoot-out with a robbery suspect), I was unable to drop off the truck by the check-in time. The freeway was a mess, I had to go work soon, so returned home and called U-Haul.I spoke with the manager, Felix, and explained the situation, of which he was aware. He graciously agreed to let me bring the truck in later that evening after I got off work when they were closed, and said that he would waive the additional days rental, insurance and appliance dolly charge that had been assessed as I had missed the original turn-in time.I dropped off the truck as promised last night, and Felix called me this morning letting me know that the extra days charges had been removed, as promised.Exceptional customer service, and appreciation for my past, and future, business... thanks, Felix, youve got a customer for life!

If you’re headed in here to buy moving supplies, have a good idea of what you need already. If not, don’t expect any help from the employees. They couldn’t even be bothered to say “hello”, much less provide any actual customer service.

Please... Please for the love of god bring back the inflatable crazy arm dancer on McEwan. I drive by every day and he used to always be there and now hes rarely out. My SnapChat follower have been asking where he is and frankly I would like to know as well. Please bring him back. If I give you 5 stars will you bring him back????

After making $1000 in two months of me they changed the wrong card that was supposed to be replaced with my card not my grandfathers. They caused me problems financially and then told me I will not rent another because they messed up and didn’t extend the U-Haul one more day like they told me they did then the next day charged the wrong card. Now as a loyal customer that made them a large amount of money instead of making right they are black listing me? This doesn’t add up and is gon g to corporate level.

I would give this business zero stars if I could! They incorrectly installed a hitch on my car and say they do not have the ability to fix the problem. DO NOT GET A HITCH INSTALLED HERE. Customer service via phone was non-existent and in person they were extremely unknowledgeable . This has been a miserable, expensive experience!

Beautiful facility, helpful staff. I just moved back to Oregon and had 5 U-box units delivered to this facility for storage into two storage units. Units are clean and located right next to each other even though they were not reserved together. Staff was extremely pleasant and easy to work with.

RIP OFF ALERTrented a cargo van from here, they left 4 to 5 inches of ice and hard packed snow on the top of it, when I tried to get into my garage the warning clearance rubber sign hit the ice pack, letting me know I wouldnt be able to make it inside. so I parked and had to walk the long way around and up stairs instead.so I made a complaint on Facebook, 5 days went by between rental and when I heard from this local site. they called me and instead of addressing my issue of the ice and snow and delay this caused in my move. instead they claimed the top of van and roof was scraped and dented.yep, they somehow claim through 4 inches of snow, my non painted cement beams left yellow paint on the actual roof.what logic is that? is your scenario I was able to get my van in, had no issue, and just for the hell of it complained, drawing attention to the very damage I caused ?I think if I drove that van up 3 levels of a parking garage with the top scraping the beams youd have more than few dents and some paint.the lady who called was rude, argumentative and combative. you need to teach your people better customer service skills.

Called and reserved a car dolly, showed up on time and they had given it away. Then lied that the car I wanted to haul wouldnt fit on 4 wheel trailer which they didnt have either way. Called a different uhaul and they gave me the trailer.

Poor service. Made appointment for a hitch install one week in advance for 9am. My wife arrives at 9am and is told that hitch installer does not arrive until 1030ish but may arrive earlier. They say they will call her when they arrive. So she goes and has some tea near by and waits. At 1030am no call. She goes back to the store and they cannot find the hitch. This is after they had a week to prepare or call us and reschedule. Frustrated she make another appointment for a week later. Since I now do not trust this place with my business I cancelled the install altogether. In addition they are difficult to get in contact with as a phone call there often gets forwarded to an offsite call center.

This is my favorite uhaul location in this area. Its easy to get into the parking lot, the parking lot is enormous, and its easy to leave. These features set this uhaul apart from others, especially if youre not used to driving large trucks or towing a trailer. Staff here have always been helpful and polite as well.

I needed a Pickup at the last minute and near home last month. When I arrived at the Lake Oswego location on McEwan, Maddie was ready to help me get on with my day. I had a pickup truck and was on my way in 15 minutes. Thanks for the help on a hectic day

I rented a small enclosed trailer. Picked it up first thing Sunday morning. Thankfully I was early. I think someone called in sick at first only one employee there them a second showed up about 40 minutes later. Developed quite a line in the store that morning. But its a.sunday morning who wants to be up and working that early. Anyway, my trailer wasnt there so I was upgraded to something slightly bigger . Woohoo! Im a seasoned towing person so I and the U-Haul fellow had me hooked up and ready to roll in 1 minute. The checkout process was a bit long, lots of paperwork but it is what it is. This is a large, clean location lots of moving supplies to purchase.

Wanted to thank the staff at this location for always being on top of things and making the process of using storage there rather easy. Ive been to many locations where staff didnt care, werent friendly, werent attentive, and this place was quite the opposite. The entire staff smiles! What???? Thats right.

Easy to get your moving equipment and get back to hauling. Theyre really helpful in setting up your trailor too if you havent done it before.

I live in SW Portland. I saw a man dealing what appeared to be boxed computers, parts out of the back of a Uhaul mini-van that was labeled as being from Lake Oswego Uhaul. When I spoke to him he was acting suspicious and wanted to know why I was photographing the van and him. I called the police but by the time they arrived the man and the van were gone.
