Jane Peavy - I had surgery and when I came home my air went out. ACS provided us with a portable unit and worked four straight days to put a temporary fix on until they could locate the part they needed. We are very grateful and couldn’t ask for a better company.

I found this company in 2001 after two other vendors were unable to fix my system. Somehow, they managed to keep my system alive and kicking for 19 years. They seem to retain staff as many I saw year after year. I am nowhere near wealthy, so their skillset has been deeply appreciated. My system is not up to environmental codes, so this year I was finally ready and able to invest in a new system. The sales team worked with me to pick the right system for my budget and need. They listened, were respectful and patient. No hard or long sell from Josh, which I very much appreciated. The installers were fabulous. They provided great instructions, were timely and efficient, and their clean-up was spotless. This is a class A company. Diverse too!

I highly recommend ACS Heating and Air. They are extremely professional and our tech Samuel was excellent !!! Very patient with my toddler son who was fascinated with the entire scheduled maintenance process. Will recommend to friends and family for sure!!

Josh Pinson and his crew at ACS are excellent in every aspect. They are always very responsive and cordial. They installed a complete HVAC system for us including the smart thermostat and explained everything in detail.I have been a customer of ACS for over 30 years and have never been disappointed. Needless to say we will continue to be a very satisfied consumer of a ACS services.

Ive been using ACS for about 13 years now. I have never had a bad experience. They dont try to oversell you, but do explain your options and the best deal that may work for you. I, mistakenly, had Montcreif come out once. The technician wasnt a bad person, but did say that they would not likely service my unit again as it had run its course and would be out of compliance next time it needed something. He was trying to get that sale of a new unit rather than help me maintain a still well-operating unit.Well, it needed something today. I called ACS, going back to my old faithful. I had an appointment by 10am same day! My technician, Nick was fantastic!! Courteous, professional, kind and knowledgeable. I got a great price and therefore got the maintenance program for the remainder of the life of the unit. He even was able to detect that a neighborhood mutt had been doing his #1 on my unit threatening the integrity! When I do need a new unit, which wont be too far down the road, ACS will be getting that business.Thank you ACS for hiring excellent techs that truly represent the quality of your company. I also told Nick that Im proud to support a family-run business during these challenging times (covid).Im sorry I cheated on you and it will never happen again. LOL.

ACS Heating & Air Conditioning was awesome to deal with. I had multiple problems with my system that included a circuit board and also a blower problem. They did a great diagnosis and gave me an accurate and timely quote to fix it or replace it. They also gave me the pros and cons of whichever decision I made. I really appreciated their concern for my expenses. I decided to fix the problem and they came out promptly and had it running smoothly in one day after I gave the order. I would recommend ACS to anyone looking for a trustworthy company.

We have used ACS for regular maintenance of our HVAC systems for years, and just purchased a new system for one that finally required replacement. The ACS team did a great job not only installing the new system, but also re-working some ducts and vents that had never been done properly since the house was originally built nearly 30 years ago. As a result, the cooling is consistent and comfortable across all rooms for the first time. The installation technicians really took the time to do it right, and we are very happy with the result. Highly recommended.

I was very pleased with ACS from the call for service to the finished job. Aaron took the call & was real pleasant & set me up an appt. This was the 1st place I called & didnt get an answering machine. Matt while enroute to let me know he was on the way. On arrival Matt was professional, courteous, knowledgeable & assured me he would get my AC going again.He promptly trouble shot it & gave me a reasonable price before promptly finishing the repairs. I highly recommend ACS Air conditioning.

Techs are nice. But we had our unit replaced by ACS three years ago. Since then theyve had to come out three or four times to fix that unit. Well, our A.C. is once again NOT working. Ive felt for a while that ACS is the problem. Im a stay at home mom, and Im tired of seeing ACS in our house. When are you going to fix our unit? While Im thankful its under warranty, I hate feeling stuck with you.

Have been using ACS for quite awhile. They just installed a new A/C condenser and corresponding coils for me. Installer team was excellent. Equipment (Lennox) is outstanding, and price was very reasonable. I highly recommend this company.

I had a rough journey with this company. But overall, they had a good installation, The customer service in the higher up branches of the company are very good, and the problems I had they made right and corrected them. Their customer service on a call in level definitely need some improvement along with their communications within the company, but overall I give them 3 stars.

Excellent experience! Strongly recommended!We bought from ACS Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. two Mitsubishi multi-zone heating and cooling systems that included two outdoor units and four wall-mounted indoor units. The experience was great from the first interaction with the sales team (Josh Pinson) throughout the completion of the installation, as well as follow up call after the installation to check if everything was ok. We strongly recommend ACS as well as Mitsubishi, our experience could not have been better. We had the systems installed in late June 2018 and working 24 x 7 since keeping our house cool.We had couple other quotes from other companies. We decided to go with ACS after we met with Josh, who was very knowledgeable, answered all of our questions, and helped us understand very quickly what is needed to meet our requirements and fit our layout. In that early stage of estimate/consulting we had better experience with ACS than with others. Josh contacted us within a day after we submitted a request to Mitsubishi’s website, asking for local authorized contractors. He showed up exactly when he said he would and throughout the entire project ACS was always on time as scheduled.Moving forward to the installation that was scheduled for few days later… ACS team showed up exactly as scheduled. Nice team, helpful, and top-notch professionals. They completed the project in couple days as promised (despite the rain). They were very accommodating as we had other constructions going on in the same space and fairly messy environment for them to work in, and they were flexible to coordinate with the other construction crew. Due to our mistake, we asked ACS to run again, and differently, electric wires to one of the system that was already installed, and they were nice about it and made the change as we asked.Bottom line, we are very pleased and will certainly call them again for future projects and we strongly recommend ACS and Mitsubishi to others.

No one over the phone properly educated me on what the visit would entail. I was under the impression filters were included. $60 for a filter when I wasnt pre-warned is ABSURD. $30 at HD. Did not call to confirm appointment, and did not call me back 2 months ago when they said they would. NO way will I ever get on a contract with this company. Treat your customers better.

I am not a customer of ACS. My issue was actually a traffic violation committed by an employee. This individual jumped out in front of my car while I was driving down Rockbridge Road on 10/3/17 at around 7:40 am giving me little time to slam on my brakes to keep from hitting him. I immediately turned around so that I could get the company phone number and vehicle number so I could call in a complaint, which I did. I confronted this individual and instead of being apologetic and contrite, he acted as if I was in the wrong and even tried to pull off. When people behave recklessly while operating company vehicles theyre representing not just themselves, theyre representing THE COMPANY. I advised that I want him terminated. Normally I wouldnt call for someones termination over something that simple but if he doesnt care about my life and the life of my child, I dont care about him having a job.
