Music Trader has a hole-in-the-wall sort of vibe with a dash of flea market chaos, but theres treasure to be found here! Amps, cabinets, heads, cases, keyboards, rack gear, guitars, violins, drums, strings, cables and accessories, lights, drums, etc etc etc... Its quite a lot of stuff for the size of this place.Great stop for those who dont really have anything in particular that theyre looking for. You might just stumble upon something you never knew you needed.A cool stop for musicians

This place looks like it needs a little love, but that belies the treasures that lie inside. This is an excellent place to find/trade music gear, but it doesnt have everything, and you will need to check in frequently to see what has come in. The owner, Paul, is a font of knowledge, and I end up either walking away with the equipment I need or more understanding about that equipment. My two boys and I have been building up a tiny Christmas concert that were doing, and we enjoy our visits here. I highly recommend that you come, meet Paul, and spend some time here. It only takes 5 minutes to see if they have what youre looking for, but you might find yourself spending a little more time just because of the friendliness and service.

Great prices excellent customer service. Whether you are beginner amateur or professional musician this store has a wide variety of instruments and equipment and they have vast knowledge on all of their products.

Came to sell some music equipment and instead of being given a counter offer. This clearly unprofessional and disinterested man behind the counter clapped and asked me to leave. I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you want your time wasted and your intelligence insulted. Just go to guitar center.

I havent physically been a customer or walked inside this store but contacted them to discuss what type of equipment I could purchase to be able to record my noisey neighbors who live above me. I was able to speak w Paul and he was ahhhhhhhhmazing! He didnt take advantage of the situation or try to build dollars for the store revenue. He asked questions on what Id be doing with it ... gave me a frank & honest opinion based off his personal experience which I very much appreciated. It is refreshing to come across people who really do look out or care for those who are not just their customers but simply just helping another human being!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! The owner Paul is really helpful and understanding. He gives really good expert advice. I just started playing guitar 3 weeks ago and I got my guitar for there. Paul was really helpful, he even wrote me a couple chords to learn as a boost to help me get started. If you are looking for a place to go to start playing an instrument or get a really nice instrument, I suggest you go there.

This store puts Tucker on the Map! If it ever attempts to close, well band together as a community to keep it open any means necessary. Go in for strings come out with music stuff I didnt even know existed. They dont always have everything you need but, sometimes we need to much. I think Ive already said too much; and I dare not say what my heart desires. It is there, but not for long.

I bought a little partscaster from here for $50, and honestly it’s the best sub-$100 guitar I’ve ever bought. Looks can be deceiving!

Ive known Paul for almost 30 years, there is reason why hes still in business. He goes out of his way to make you happy and he charges a fair price. Not many stores and owners like him around anymore.

I was treated very rudely by the manager. I refuse to ever give this establishment my business ever again. I buy used musical equipment, and a lot of it, and Ill never spend my cash here again, no matter how desirable the inventory is.

Today I visited Music Trader and met the owner, Paul. Hes been in operation for about 20 years and obviously enjoys what he does. He restrung my guitar in no time at all for a song, $10.I dont know what happened to Jarvis, but it didnt reflect my experience at all. I live in Tucker and I always prefer to support local businesses over chain stores. Thats what keeps our town from looking as homogeneous as Dunwoody, Alpharetta, or Suwanee.Ill be making Music Trader my regular stop for my music needs.
