Very sad to write this, but we tried... we hired this company to replace an awning back in 2016, and they did a fine job. We have tried to be loyal to companies weve used in the past.However, during Covid, our building has been pelted with Rocks through our office Windows. We decided to have Tucson Rolling shutters put a security shutter to save us from having to replace our windows for the 3rd time.We needed our awning removed that sits above our entrance where the shutters are to be placed and the awning moved up 4-6 inches. We had to wait four months for an appointment to get the shutters installed, which is scheduled for the 16th of September.We have called, emailed, and spoke with Dave, we assume is the owner. Every single time we speak with him, hes busy... hes in the car, he cant hear us, he wants the work, but wont commit to a day or time, and now a week before install, we cant get a date that hed come over, take the awning down, and later put it back up. When I told him we needed it raised, he said, oh, you didnt tell us that, its going to be extra. Well, we did tell him that, because weve been waiting to get this done, and the shutter folks told us the awning would need to be raised. We had no issue paying him, just tell us how much to move it higher?Beyond being generally rude, Dave would tell us that hes super busy! Okay, no problem, just dont take the job then or say, im too busy! There are plenty of companies in Tucson to install Awnings.After another attempt to lock in a date or time, and again, Dave saying Im in the car, and cant tell you when i can stop by, I decided to call Tucson Awning. The customer service person said well be over tomorrow, well take it down and put it up exactly where you want it.I really wanted to use Awning Doctors... they did a fine job initially, but clearly, they are either too busy, or just didnt want the work and wouldnt say that.

I found Awning Doctors online and called Dave to have him repair a small tear in an awning at my home. He was able to come out the same day and repair it on-site. I was impressed with his responsiveness and the service provided. While here, he mentioned that the company also does cleanings and that he could add my property to his schedule every 3 months to help prolong the life of my awning. I wasnt even aware that cleanings were needed and appreciated the help! Thank you Dave for all your help - I will definitely recommend your company to others!
