I used to come to Bookmans back in the early 90s when I was in high school. My friends and I used to come here and Ive got some great memories there.Fast forward many years later I brought my 19 yo son from Florida to AZ to see where mom grew up. Bookmans was when more awesome than I remember. My son loved it. Said it would be worth moving to Tucson just for Bookmans. 🤣 Thanks for another great memory guys. ❤

I love all the Bookmans but this one is the only one that has an easy classic section. In the back right of the store has classic books and books of the genre. All the other Bookmans have the classics of fiction scattered throughout so I just never end up looking for older novels in the other ones. Also we come for the video game section, which is always great.

I went thinking it was a used bookstore... This place was sooo much more! I think it has a bit of everything. Games, movies, comics, instruments, jewelry, D & D stuff... Oh, and books, too!

The sales on books and movies was great. Bought lots for my grandkids.However the staff were so busy talking I had to ask for assistance to check out although they were all right there staring at me.

This bookmans is great to look for some hidden gems at theres something for everyone here. They have a massive selection of puzzles,instruments, books, movies,video games and much much more. Ive been going here since I was very young and no matter my ages Ive found something interesting!

Favorite bookstore ever! I have moved many places but this one tops them all. You can find mostly any book you are looking for and then some. They also expanded their inventory to musical instruments and have a kids book club.

Sorry I was next door at the Dollar tree used to go to bookmans all the time when my kids were little buying video games on a cheap we had Brazilians of them then we take them back and sell them back it was always a pretty cool place probably still is I just havent been in there for a while I just go next door to the cheap store

Its a great place to find pretty much anything thats a dying art..paper books, comics (decent selection), CDs, old video game stuff and I imagine Dungeons and Dragons fans frequent the place aswell. If you like nostalgia, than this is this place for you. It has tons of it.

Theyve always been awesome rather its to go in and look for a book or game. Ive always loved that you can buy, sell the but they will also try and hunt down what youre looking for. I miss just lounging around there like when I was a kid. Just live to far away definitely always worth the visit!

Love Bookmans. I lose track of time in there. Staff is great! Friendly and knowledgeable. They are patient and willing to take the time to help you. Prices are reasonable and selection is a little bit of everything. Kids section is great!!! Well organized and laid out. Very easy to find anything from board books to YA novels. Never had any problems with any purchase Ive ever made. Ive been shopping at this Bookmans for 14 years. Sometimes I dont agree with whoever picked the music that day but Ill still get lost in the books.

You can get lost in here with all to see. They have books, magazines, videos, music, collectables, antiques, instruments, video games and a whole lot more. They have places to sit, relax and meditate. Both adults and kids visit so open the door and explore.

Its an okay place to buy cool things, but as a a seller you better watch out, they want everything mint and want to steal it price wise. I tries selling some things there a few times and they didnt want to buy most of the items which was a shock, as I was leaving some customers wanted to buy some of my items and Bookmans got mad and called the police on me, it was an unnerving experience. I cant give them a zero because they have good stuff for sale....

It was a nice time walking around the store. Has not changed much in the last 20 years.

Its hard to find this place but it has some really cool stuff to geek out on. They have a pretty good music book section and help local business. Worth the drive

Asked two employees and they didnt know the wifi password, other then that nice as usual.

Used to be you could get things second hand at a good price there. Now it costs almost as much as buying it new. Not really worth the effort of hunting through their selection to maybe come across something you want just to pay close to full price for it.

I love shopping for books here. They aren’t overpriced like Barnes & Nobles. But I wish they had bigger letter cards (ie. A/B and the next section would be C/D) that separate the books so I can see them better.

Like their other locations, this is a great store. As a used bookstore, you cant count on finding everything, but you can find an awful lot, including unexpected treasures.

I had a-lot of fun here. My wife and me bought so many things that we needed for our wii u and some things that we didnt lol. Clean place and employees were very helpful and polite.

A Tucson classic! This place hasnt changed in decades, which is probably its best quality. Like paper books, old-school video games, and still listen to music / watch videos on physical media? Then Bookmans is the place for you. I cant make any sense of why the do or dont buy certain books etc., but at least you get a little more than you would just dropping them in a donation box. Its worth it dropping in once in a while to hunt for the occasional treasure, pick up a cheap paperback, or get the feeling youve been transported back in time to the 1990s.

I stopped in one day on the way home and did some shopping. Was very pleased they had Berserk Manga in stock. CDs are mostly clean and in good condition. Staff were mostly pleasant. 10/10 would visit again.

I was stopped at the door and asked to take off my face shield and put on a mask. I have respiratory problems, so he did my running all over the store while I looked in one area. No one was in that area except my sister and he had told me if I was the only one in that area I could pull my mask down to just below the nose. This helped. Customer service I would give 5 stars. Greeter needs more diplomacy when speaking to people instead of coming off like shes the boss. I would be nice and give her 2 stars.

Its one of the smaller Bookmans but staff is helpful and friendly and the store is clean and organized.

I love this bookstore. Its a wonderful place to wander, there is a great selection of books and magazines, and usually there is fantastic mystic playing. If they had a coffee bar Id never leave 😁.

If Tucson was New York City Bookmans would be that interesting but out of the way shop tucked away in an alley somewhere. People who have been to or live in NYC know what I mean with that sentence. Lots of great finds to be had inside and they also do trade ins for cash back or in store credit for their target merchandise. If your a big book reader, comics and games, music person definitely check it out!

Well I love this bookstore, but they are pricey when it comes to second hand books. Guess its the price you pay to walk into a store these days. Payed $28.99 for this used book because it caught my attention walking in. Little did I know the same book brand new costs $11.54 on Amazon lol.

Great place gives great values for your stuff if they take it. Only problem is it is kinda expensive for a thrift store depending on what you are looking for and sometimes they dont check the games and see if they work no problem who live in Tucson or nearby but for people who live a long ways out it is hard

My first Bookmans experiences were 38 years ago at the Flagstaff store. I lived in Cottonwood and would drive one hour up 89A just to spend the afternoon at the store. My two daughters would often go along and get lost in the childrens section.Flash forward to living near Tucson. My favorite Tucson store happens to be the Ina branch. Something about the particular books that float through makes their selection always seem fresh. The musical instrument section also has quite a variety from time to time. See you there...EDIT: This particular Bookmans store has an odd and wonderful selection of collections for sale: wooden boxes, one of my favorites, sit together on shelves at the edge of the magazine section.....so do art pieces, cat statues, and penny loafers size 14 (just kidding). I find such cool stuff there to buy and share with family and friends.Whatever employee does the marketing groupings at this store could easily work in a trendy Diamond store or boutique in Manhattan. Come now, take a bow. Check out the 1,001 games for sale in a tidy wall of fun; look at all the musical instruments piled near the entrance and see Ringos lost drums as well as Mamadi Keitas spare Djembe for sale; and kiddies be ready for sudden babydoll heaven with strange and unusual toys made of felt.Can I please move in......

We were perusing the books when my 3-year-old indicated that she needed to use the restroom badly. I asked the guy at the front desk if she could use the bathroom and without looking up from the paper he was cutting, said, No, theyre not available. Try Dollar Tree or the pizza place or Michaels.So Im supposed to try three different stores with my child to see if one may allow her to use their restrooms, when were not even customers?Its infuriating and Ill never return. This is absolutely no way to treat a repeat customer...any customer, especially a small child! Shame on you!

Took grandkids to go get some books. They were so happy with the books and wanted pretty much every book in there. Staff was nice and offered kids club but since they arent my kids we didnt do it.
