We have three rugs purchased from Kelly at Ambassador. Two are hand made rugs. We picked them out because they are beautiful, hand made, affordable, and they accent the room perfectly. Kelley is a wealth of information. He told us about the region they were from, some history, some of the symbolism, etc.. The third rug we bought from him is an inexpensive, machine made Turkish rug. We had been looking online because we just wanted something inexpensive for a very high traffic area of our house. I was thinking I’d just get a cheap Chinese rug online. I stopped by Ambassador on a lark. I told him what I was looking for, and he came up with several options in my price range. The rug we picked is much nicer than we were seeing online for a comparable price.

Shortly after relocating to Tucson, we needed a natural fiber, non toxic area rug and didn’t know where to start. By calling a local rug repair and cleaning expert, we were recommended to go see Kelly at Ambassador Rugs. We discovered the shop to be rather small and modest, but we were happily surprised with what we learned and experienced. Truthfully, we had no knowledge of the artistry and history of hand-woven rugs from many cultures; some new and some heir-looms over generations. The work, talent and beauty of the various rugs was fascinating. We also found the prices to be very good. Kelly has a pleasant easy-going manner, and was able to listen carefully to what we were looking for to do his utmost to find the right rug, with no hint of pressure.Our experience at Ambassador Rugs has prompted us to do something we rarely do, and take the time to give a review – and a 5-star one at that.

What a low stress store. So many new and pre-owned rugs to choose from...just splendid eye candy. I was looking for just one rug and ended up buying three! I will certainly recommend this store my friends. Im planning on returning soon to purchase another rug. You cant go wrong checking this store out !

Life is better with rugs. And this place makes it easy to get in the game. The prices are fairly quoted and the owner loves his trade. He gets excited about rugs, and he gets excited about you taking home some of his. Do yourself a favour, get in the game and go see Kelley. It can actually change your life. Its changed mine. Also, take a friend, its fun.
