Tucson Coffee RoasterI’ve enjoy coming here for years always trying different coffees. Today was Dirty Chai Latte made made it iced and simply enjoyed it. For the first time I decided to eat here and had Breakfast Tacos,, for the price and fast turnaround I was pleased.

Since Ive moved to Tucson almost 3 years ago, TCR is one of my fave coffee and breakfast spots. Good music, good vibes and even better people serving you up some yummy foods and delicious coffee. Thank you guys for being so awesome and making my mornings better

Cool little coffee shop. Not too bourgeois, and has a comfortable, homey feel to the decor. Very reasonably priced.

I’m almost sad to write this review because this used to be one of my favorite coffee places in Tucson. For the past 3 visits, our drip coffee has tasted like a cup of cream with barely a dash of coffee even after asking for just a dash of cream. Did the coffee just get watery? Who knows. I also can’t tell you how much coffee I’ve spilled on both myself and in my car because the lids are very flimsy. Third time was the charm because I won’t waste my money again.

Staff was not welcoming. Not wearing masks. I wouldnt have order food if I saw this before. Coffee is mediocre. Tacos were fresh but served cold

And I got a gift card from a colleague who raved about how the coffee and service was on a different level. I ordered a latte today and was pleasantly surprised. Just before I was handed my coffee, I was offered a chocolate covered espresso bean... (I love those things)I said ‘why not’?The barista said, ’why not!’It was pleasantly placed, with tongs, on the lid of my latte. It added a nice pop to well prepared coffee.TCR is a little out of the way for me but worth the drive. I shall return.N8

The syrups and sauces are more highlighted than the bean quality. They looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for a black americano, probably because their coffee tasted burnt and bitter. I couldnt finish my drink.

The lavender lemonade was delicious with excellent service! I cant wait to go back to try more!

I love this place and even better they are local. The staff are always polite, courteous, knowledgeable and even better is the Bullit Coffee. I am constantly on the go as a mobile massage therapist and this place is a life saver! Keep up the fantastic work and coffee!!!

I have only ever ordered online from them so I’m going to talk about the quality of their beans and service rather than atmosphere.These guys are for the true aficionados of coffee.These have been the freshest roasts I’ve ever had and I really think it’s because they roast the beans the day you order them. In a pour over, these bloom fantastically and are so vigorous it’s almost like an experience itself.Tucson Coffee Roasters also has more roasts to order online from than the others, so you can try a bunch of different coffees from different regions. They have some notes on the bag so that you can see what you’re getting into, but sometimes discovering the flavor profiles yourself makes it more fun.I’ve only lived in Tucson for 2 years, and the pandemic has prevented a lot of life to live at the moment. However, this coffee has been a nice reprieve as I try it out and I get to support a local business in the process!Great customer service too. I had a package that was not delivered to my door and was probably a postal issue, but I wanted to try out the coffee anyways so I ordered another one. They sent me two bags, and the second one was another coffee to try! It’s like they knew I was probably going to taste a different bag after I was done with the one I ordered.It’s good to know that I’ll have options for Christmas presents this year as I had no idea what I was gonna do. Tucson Coffee Roasters has made that easy, while simultaneously providing a great coffee brewing experience and good flavors.

The atmosphere here is amazing & the decor is splendid! Also the young man with brown curly hair is a master wizard at making drinks! Seriously the wizards at Hogwarts got nothing on him!

Great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink. Feels like your in your comfort of your own home. Great place to do school work or business using their Wi-Fi.

Love this little coffee shop! I think its truly a hidden gem! Its hidden behind Miss Saigon. Super welcoming with a side of hipster vibes...love the wall art and the girl that helped me was sooo super sweet! She was happy to let me sample their cold brew since it was my first time here and I loved it. Just the right amount of kick while still being smooth and not bitter at all! I tried an iced nitro brewed coffee with white chocolate peppermint bark flavoring. They make their syrups/flavoring in house ans you can tell! They even put a special touch on my cup for an added yummy caffeinated boost! (Java chip) I came in a bit later in the day so their pastry case only had a couple of items (they both looked delicious) it was a crumb topped muffin and chocolate croissant. They also serve breakfast sandwiches. Hopefully I can come back soon to have some breakfast and another deliciously smooth iced coffee given to me by someone with a warm friendly smile that welcomes me back!! Thanks for the coffee recommendation! I will be back asap!!

7/21: We had the cherry choco frap. It was good. Needed a little more cherry, but overall a good frap. Shop is cute and the board with what ppl’s wishes for their ideal career was cute. Very clean and nice employees.

Im glad I found this hidden gem of a coffee shop. Friendly, informative barista, delicious drink & a nice environment to relax & read over a cup of coffee. Highly recommended!

Best esspressoso by far in tucson during my.two week stay

I had the roasted chocolate hot latte. Loved it. Also had an apple pastry and was very tasty. Friendly fast service.

The coffee itself is delicious. The problem I have is that their straws are unwrapped and out for anyone to touch. In the middle of a pandemic the last thing I want to worry about is if some nasty unhygienic person touched the straw Im about to put into my drink. If this was March 2020 Id understand, but weve been doing this for a year now, order different straws. I guarantee this place has helped spread covid. Plus they took a shot at cats on their tip jar, which may not seem like a big deal, but nah, that was rude and unnecessary. They have a cute dog and an ugly cat, if it was the other way around people wouldnt like that.

Easily some of the best coffee in Tucson. The staff is exceedingly friendly and helpful and its always pleasant inside. Baked goods are delicious. Love this place!

The specialty lattes are good, especially the Chai lattes are exceptional. Its a cool place to have a a cup of coffee and read a book. I haven tried their food. Not normally very busy when Ive been there but it could be a result of the pandemic. They do have a mandatory mask policy. The customer service is a little difficult to figure out, its hit or miss depending on the time of the day it seems.

Wanted to visit this coffee house last time in town. Not disappointed glad to finally taste an excellent tasty cup of Joe from TCR!

I got a vanilla latte and it was perfect. The roast is the perfect darkness to illicit maximum flavor and loe acidic bite. The bean blend allows for a great flavor profile. The barista was knowledgeable and created a great drink with a perfect shot. Will be in again soon,i am certain.

Today was my first visit to this location and I was very impressed. I was there to buy a pound of coffee. The barista was very knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. The shop is clean and has a nice outdoor seating area as well. I will definitely be back.

My favorite coffee place in the city. Coffee is always amazing, great prices on espresso, and cozy quiet seating area for studying, hanging out, or meeting friends.

I work right down the street, so sometimes Ill stop in here for a quick pick-me-up. Excellent coffee, inviting environment, awesome staff.

Best, most consistent espresso in town. Occasionally they forget to re-brew the drip in the slow afternoon, but that doesnt take a whole star away. I exclusively buy their beans as well, always freshly roasted

I wish I could the full give 5 stars because of the fantastic staff and coffee, however, Im one of those strange people that likes to read, study, or work with a nice cup of coffee and a fairly quiet place. Admittedly, not a loud as some Starbucks, but still louder than some of my other favorites in town. I asked for the music to be turned down, and she said we have already turned the music down as far as we are allowed to. I take this to mean that other people had already asked today, and might have a similar desire for a more quiet environment. Unfortunately, the music still creeps through my 32db earplugs, and as I look around I see at least one person wearing a noise cancelling headset. In this world of constant noise, I hope the owners see this review and as least consider the possibility that people might come to coffee shops to chill out, read, work, and possibly talk to friends in a cozy quiet place. ...but maybe its only me. :)

Great local coffee!!! All the drinks are decently priced and it’s military friendly. I also like the secrete menu they have. My favorite is the maple bacon frappe ;) I just wish I can bring my dog inside real quick to order my drink and leave.

My favorite cafe for working and studying, as they are small & most people come to get coffee and leave so there is not a lot of distractions which is nice for me because I distract easily! Their menu is full of drinks that you dont see at other local cafes and they always have something new to try as well as a knowledgeable staff that explains how they make it! I also love that they use organic and natural flavors for their products, it makes a difference in the taste!

Great place for a quick stop. Drinks were tasty and price was fair. I went in on Easter as for some reason there places were closed. I recommend everyone give it a try and see what you think. The Horchata flavors are also very good.

Tucson Coffee Roasters is a local area coffee shop that is well on its way to developing a unique brand, selection of coffees, and services that will be highly appealing to the coffee lover. This shop is creatively decorated with a rather industrial, yet homey, feel and it has a feel and decor that make it special just after walking in the door. As for the coffee, they have a great selection and, more importantly, they have unique offerings that you wont find anywhere else. Of note is the Sriracha Latte, my favorite! I havent found this concoction in any other coffee shop and they do such an excellent job with this drink. Its delicious, only mildly spicy, and very addictive! They also have a White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Latte that is similarly delicious. I also find the staff to be very warm, friendly, and welcoming. Check them out and support this local Tucson coffee shop -- youll be glad you did!

Coffee is good in the service is fast and friendly.This is a great little coffee shop if you need to do a quick business meeting with seven or eight people. Large table in the middle of the coffee shop.

Tucson Coffee Roasters is a favorite local coffee House of mine. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They always have a special for us regular folks and for veterans and law enforcement.

The staff is friendly and the space is warm and welcoming. Love the chocolate cherry frapp!

This place is a cute little nook nestled in a place where everyone associates “Starbucks” with the word “Coffee”. The drinks here are outstanding (I highly recommend the toasted mocha) and the tea is steeped overnight, which gives it a more natural taste over the concentrates used elsewhere. The decor is modern with a minimalistic twist. It offers a cozy setting to read, study, or meet with friends. In my opinion this place is extremely underrated and I wish I tried it sooner.

This place is just the best. They continuously incorporate engaging things into the environment such as a book swap, an inspiration board, and even had a hidden Easter egg during the month of April- I found it and got a free drink!!

Locally owned spot offering great coffee and friendly staff. Nitro brew is also great and every coffee comes with a chocolate covered coffee bean. Shot walk from the Marriott and well worth the trip.

My girlfriend loves this place! Admittedly their coffee is much better than Starbucks and places like that. Sometimes they make me feel uncomfortable when it takes a bit to choose what Id like, but otherwise I am completely satisfied. The location on Broadway/Craycroft has the kindest staff.

The barista was great - very friendly and personable. The coffee was not too my taste. The espresso is over roasted perhaps to hold up to making flavored drinks and such. The beans I bought for home use were also roasted to a char.That said, some people might livelit. Its definitely coffee my brother would love, but as someone who likes a light roast with actually being able to taste the nuances of the bean, its just not for me.YMMV

I enjoy the café just fine, but it is inaccessible - I think the counter where you order is over 36 inches (not positive there though), there is no lip in the counter or other way for wheelchair users to pull up to the counter, and the bathroom doors definitely have no Braille on them.

I didnt find the coffee drinks here very good. I had just regular coffee and it was cold and bitter. My daughter had a dirty chai tea. She said it was just ok too. Nothing special about the atmosphere either. I will go back to my favorite coffee house/ roaster, Raging Sage!
