Was looking for a particular make and model of a rifle for a few months. I called multiple gun shops weekly looking for it. Not only did Frontier Gun Shop have it, they were charging a more than reasonable price for it. They could have easily charged a lot more (given the current political environment) but they did not. They also have a lot of other cool stuff there too.

Havent purchased there but the guy on the phone was fantastic.

Got my first gun here in 1974, was surprised to see it under the same owner. When by with a friend of mine that needed to sell an old musket and the way she was treated was awesome I will be going back soon.

Jim is exactly the gentleman I prefer to deal with when buying a firearm. Knowledgeable, personable and a true historian at his trade. Great selection of old school lever actions, revolvers and classic firearms. I went through my glock and AR phase but now I prefer the craftsmanship from long ago. They are all works of art and Jim makes the process seamless. A loyal client from here on!

I first went to Frontier Gun Shop when I was about 13 years old. I was crazy about everything old west related and the owner Jim spent hours teaching me about the west, Colt single Actions and Winchester repeaters. He is still there behind the counter 40 years later and is still happy to share his knowledge. The selection of firearms at Frontier varies from genuine antique Colts and Winchesters all the way to modern firearms. This is not the place to find a big selection of AR or AKs but what you will find in this amazing gun store will be so much more than that mass produced junk. This is my all time favorite gun store anywhere and thank you Jim for your continued educational efforts and friendship to all.

Great gun shop the have and specialize on guns that you caint find any more rare guns at the best prices in town, the owner is a great fellow great custermer service makes you fill at home and not like the other shops in town that intimidated you when you walk in. Great layaway plan. If you are looking for a gun or riffle to invest money for later years I recommend this shop. And almost forgot just go and take a look it’s like a small museum great vintage items all over the shop

Frontier Gun Shop is truly a gem in the midst of Tucson, with a huge variety of antique firearms that you would rarely see in one place outside of a museum! Jim the owner is a kind and knowledgeable curator, and there are many many different things to see for those who know and love antique firearms.

If you classic firearms this is the place to go. Jim is very nice and he knows his stuff.
