I was here for a hearing screening suggested by my PCP, and went here because it had good reviews and was close. The tech was great but I was not happy with the audiologist. She was rushed to the point of almost being kurt. When she saw that I was not a candidate for a hearing aid yet, it was like Ok bye see you later. I had to ask a lot of questions which she did answer, hurriedly. My insurance paid for this eval and I expected more information and professionalism.
I understand based on other reviews that they have provided great service at the Campbell location. But my review is strictly customer service. After calling and making an appointment, I was called a few days later by the SP assistant saying that I needed a referral before coming in to get evaluated for what I explained was ringing in my ear. At first, I didn’t know why I would need a referral for something they offered for free at their clinic, a general hearing screening. So in order to be seen, I did go to my primary and received a referral. Once I arrived at the SP Center Campbell location for my appointment, they started to make excuses as to why they think they won’t be able to help me. That I need to see a different type of specialist. They claimed they did not have a way to get ahold of me, yet while I was at my primary physician appointment, two days prior to my appointment with them, they were providing the information necessary for the referral on speaker with me and my physician. It is very frustrating that they had me make appointments with my primary to get a referral, take hours off from work and then failed to provide a service. They even stated that in order to do the hearing screening, I needed to remove some wax from one of my ears. That it would cost $90. I said ok, can you do it please and I’ll pay. Then they she said, let me take a look again and stated she didn’t feel it would help and that I should let the specialist do it.I believe that they were hoping to find a problem that they could bill my insurance for, and given the circumstances they wouldn’t be able to.I have never left a review about a business.. ever. But I would hate for someone else to have to jump through so many hoops, pay deductibles to see their doctor for a referral for a service that will not be provided.
Asusena and Crystal were EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable in helping me resolve a problem in pairing my hearing aids with my new iPhone. Additionally, Crystal volunteered to clean my hearing aids while I was in their facility. I couldnt be more pleased with the support.
SoundPoint is always very professional and does a great job explaining the hearing aids.
Good experience at Soundpoint Hearing on N Campbell Rd office. easy to get appointment times. Very responsive to questions and concerns. Dr. Tafoya-Bocca is very caring.
This is the only Sound Point Hearing Center I have used at 3390 N Campbell Ave STE # 130 Tucson AZ. with Jennifer Tafoya-Bocca, Aud.. I have been using aids for almost 20 years, and have dealt with 10 different providers. Without exception Dr. Jennifer Tafoya-Bocca, Aud. is the most competent provider I have ever dealt with. She has the knowledge and experience with a full range of hands on capabilities. Most importantly she listens, to what is being said making sure to understand what is being described. Besides the technical proficiency her caring personal attitude puts one at ease knowing that she really cares and will help you to your satisfaction. Should she ever leave Sound Point I will follow her to the new practice.
Dr. Tafoya-Bocca is wonderful! Kind, compassionate, and so knowledgeable. The entire staff are pleasant and professional. Every experience so far has been great.
