Loved the Gelato here. Chocolate and Pistachio were out of this world

I had the Lemon Mint flavor and it is seriously the best thing I’ve ever tasted. All the flavors look absolutely delicious too! Definitely coming back here a lot

I havent had gelato this good since I vacationed in Italy in the mid 80s. Cant describe how delicious it is. The suggestions by the employees were perfect. Will be coming back over and over again.

I love gelato and have visited many places. This is one of the best! Many flavors to chose from including Hazelnut and Pineapple..my favorite. Shop and bathrooms are clean. Dining outside only.

Today was our second visit and it was just as good as the first! Everything is made in store with copious amounts of love and enthusiasm, and youll taste it! Customer service is phenomenal and the gelato selection is wide, tasty, and fluid. This place has won my own and my wifes heart - wed give 6 stars if it were possible.

The only issue is that thier website is not update with the flavors. First choice not there, followed by second choice and then third choice. Emded walking out with something basic not worth mentioning. It was good though.

The gelato chef here is incredible, the flavors are outstanding and the customer service is lovely. A great go-to!

The price is right and the variety is countless. Thanks for the fast and great service. There is no need to pay expensive for flavorless icecream if you have this around your hotel. Highly recommend it. Btw, beautiful plaza to hang with family and friends.

Good quality, reasonable prices, friendly service and diverse flavors (though I went with the traditional chocolate/vanilla). It can definitely compete with the more renown Frost. I am disappointed that the ratio between flavors wasn’t even, so I encourage the workers to try to be more careful in this regard

I’ve never been a huge gelato fan. When I think about traveling to Italy one day, getting gelato isn’t exactly on my to do list. Anyway, I went to Blue Ice Gelato last night because my boyfriend has been raving about their gelato for weeks. I also went back today, less than 24 hours later. So am I a gelato fan now? No, but I’m a Blue Ice Gelato fan.One thing that really stands out about this place (besides the mouth watering gelato) is the service. Don, the manager, is so warm and personable, and you can tell he is really passionate about what he does. He is always eager to get you to sample different gelatos and tell you about new flavors.Blue Ice offers over 15 flavors of gelato (in a cup, waffle cone, or panini), but they also have sorbetto, granita, expresso, cappuccino, and lattes. Don also mentioned that they now have gelato pies! A whole pie of your favorite gelato with your choice of pie crust and topping? Ok, someone please get me one for my birthday...or just because.I feel like I need to dedicate a whole section to the cookie butter gelato. I sampled many wonderful flavors both times I went, but I got cookie butter each time. I believe they said cookie butter is their best seller, and I’m telling you, IT IS GOOD. I don’t really know how to explain it, it’s like a smooth vanilla caramel gelato with this cookie crunch that tastes like peanut butter, caramel, and Biscotti cookies. It’s simply the perfect blend. I can literally taste the freshness of their gelatos. I sampled a banana cream pie gelato and I felt like I was on a banana farm on a warm, sunny day eating the freshest bananas I’ve ever had.This place is truly great. The place is always clean and cheerful, and you have the option to enjoy your gelato inside or outside. Service is phenomenal and prices are very reasonable for truly fresh and good gelato. I would give this place 6 stars if I could.

Not from Tucson- Best Gelato Ive had, was in with my husband. Christopher was very helpful,and friendly,knew about the ingredients, provided samples of all the ones we wanted to try. Hard to make a choice since all were yummy. I was able to get a medium size with three flavors of the ones that I liked the most. I had lemon lime, coconut, and butterscotch caramel amazingly yummy! Will be back next year when we are in Tucson again.

Just go, I discovered this place while out and about. Now I been there 3 times in 2 weeks. Yum

Best gelato we have tasted...outside of Italy. ;) Apparently the owner went to Italy to learn, and it shows. The Banana Cream Pie and the Salted Caramel were amazing!

New flavors every day and it is easy to feel good knowing what you are eating as well as the low fat and sugar content. Great spot!

Best gelato place we have been to. They have a large selection of different flavors to choose from. Christopher was very knowledgeable of the ingredients of each of the flavors. He was also able to recommend gelato based on dietary restriction.

We just had the neatest experience at this gelato place. The owners went to Italy and studied and after they graduated from gelato University in Italy, they brought a gelato chef and came down here to teach him. This is Don, the general manager. Just the nicest guy youll ever meet. He talked about all the love and care that goes into making these flavors, imported chocolates and fresh squeezed oranges and pure mint leaves and more. Their custom flavors that they make right there are always changing, the true Italian gelato that they have is very low sugar, and incredibly bold tastes. It was awesome!! You can really tell that this is their passion. I love that!

Being new to the neighborhood had to try, friendly service, clean and fast though expensive. Gelato was tasty and creamy, just not sure its really worth the expense.

I liked it. Almost as creamy as I remember the ice cream of old.

Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. After picking up my online order I was able to try some incredible samples, all made in-house. The flavors are so rich and vibrant, the orange was so amazing. I highly recommend trying the mango basil.

There Gelato was delicious! I had a small two flavors split, lemon mint and mixed berry ...very tasty and u can tell its all natural by the fruit and the fresh mint that was in it ...we sat on there patio and we were blessed with a full rainbow.. ...it was something ! We always come here for a cold treat when were on the northwest side of town. Good flavor selection and tastes great! Outdoor seating east facing for nice afternoons or evenings :)

Never Liked Gelato, but this is BETTER THAN ICE CREAM. Gelato always had somewhat plain, sub-par flavor to me, so imagine my surprise that the taste was through the roof amazing! Theyre glad to let you sample as many different flavors as youd like. And once you find your favorites, theyll let you know that they create and pasteurize their own flavors IN HOUSE. And that what tastes like sugar and fat-filled goodness is actually still very low (or no) sugar Gelato with very little fat compared to any other icy treats. There is nothing generic about the food, the flavor or the fat and sugar content. Its seriously as amazing as it sounds. Dont let the thought of previous Gelatos turn you off. This place is delicious!

Finally tried Blue Ice Gelato and was delighted. I always try the chocolate first to access the quality. Yummmmm!!! The owner (?) suggested I try the mint. It was made with fresh mint. Ill definitely be going back.

I am writing this review simply to gush about Don. It was my first time in this shop and fortunately there wasnt a line for 5 minutes. Don took me thoroughly through almost every flavor, describing how it is made, naming favorites, and creating complementary flavor-matched samples.. he practically made my night. Oh, and the gelato is disgustingly good. But great service makes it even better. :)Thank you!! Ill be back!

Our favorite gelato place! Absolutely blows away the run of the mill gelato. The owner and his staff are incredibly friendly and they are always willing to give samples to make sure you get something you will love.The flavors are just incredible and always changing. They use real fruit and high quality ingredients. Hard to go anywhere else when this place is around the corner!

Discovered this Tucson jewel during our Thanks Giving trip. We had to go back twice before we left Tucson. Friendly and super polite staff, great tasty ice cream with a delicious variety of awesome flavors. Price is very affordable, facility is inviting and very clean always. Cant wait to go back to Tucson!

Delicious Gelato, have not tasted anywhere better other than in Italy itself. Prepared with delicacy, like frozen art! Friendly service, sharing samples of different gelatos, and there are many to choose from. Pistachio my favorite!

I deeply encourage everyone to try it out because it is totally worth the drive from wherever your traveling from. So if you happen to be in Tucson or passing on through be sure to try it out because you wont get a better taste of Gelato any where else. They were saying all recipes are from Italy so there is no need on traveling around the world for the best Gelato. Since it opened up, this is my new favorite Go-To place when it comes to dessert. This is the best gelato I have found in the US, let alone Tucson. As a frequent traveler to Italy, Ive been exposed the the best of the art. In America, sweetness is often the replacement for flavor. Blue Ice Gelato is about flavor and the art gelato. Dont have time to visit Italy? Go here.

Great gelato! Inventive flavors. I had the white chocolate blueberry cardamom, which was delightful. They offer drizzles of olive oil over the top, espresso drinks and even a gelato panini. One markdown on the service, the gentleman was clearly not interested in serving us, he was annoyed at the questions we asked about the gelato, and as soon as we paid, he when to the backroom, and when new customers came in they waited too long for him to come out. Seemed like early 20s angst. Or just a bad day.

Fantastic Gelato. First time trying affogato and it was also terrific. Manager Don and staff were great.
