10/13/2021This market is probably the newest and the cleanest Asian market in Tucson. There are a lot of products from Korea and China. Also ample products from Japan but the Japanese products here tend to be $1.00-$2.00 more than G&L, Lee Lees and Sun Oriental Market. For that reason I give it 3 stars.

We really enjoyed our time at this market! We got a few new items to try and we are already planning our next visit!

Good variety of products from China, Japan and Korea. Frozen meats, snacks and beers.

First time visiting. Was very excited to see the types of products available. Will be going back. Kind of on the pricy side but Ill get over it.

Great customer service! My daughter was wanting to try new things and the woman working answered all of her questions and even gave suggestions! We loved everything she told us to try!

Amazing selection of products especially given the size of the store. I buy my gyoza dumplings here. Try the marinaded Korean BBQ too, and many drinks and deserts as well. Delicious!

Small, but wonderful. Has almost all your typical Asian necessities at a fair price. The store owner and his wife are wonderful people and extremely friendly. Dont be afraid to ask them for suggestions or any question!

I absolutely love this little Market! I try to make weekly trips here. All my favorite snacks and great selection of ingredients, ramen, and frozen goods. Very kind owners, clean and organized as well. Highly recommend!

I got some Korean grapes from Sandyi yesterday ($14.99 for a big package) and they were the bomb. Literally the best grapes Ive ever had in my whole life. I also go there to buy Yamamotoyama genmaicha (my favorite tea at the moment) and their big individually wrapped daifukus are my favorite. Also, lately theyve been having dango in their refrigerated section and its amazing. My favorite is the plain/strawberry/mugwort kind but the teriyaki (?) sauce kind is delicious too. Back when I wasnt watching my sugar consumption, I used to come here and buy their packages of premade anko (I enjoy both coarse and fine) and eat it alone or on some sourdough from Beyond Bread. Those were good times. Oh, and I love roasted barley or corn tea, especially iced with some soymilk. Super delicious.

Sushi and sashimi grade fish is awesome. All of their products are top quality but it is the fish that keeps us going back.

The store is clean and tidy unlike another Asian grocery store town. Great Japanese and Korean selection and some Chinese items as well. Price is a bit higher compared to HMart but very acceptable. Service is great!

Its a small family business, It almost practically has everything, noodles, Ramen, vegetables, meat ect.

Best Japanese market in Tucson. Some of the stuff is a few days expired but thats because most of the products are from overseas so it takes like 10 years to get to America. Not that it matters cause everything is either dry or processed.

If youre looking for ingredients to make onigiri 🍙🍙🍙 this is your one stop shop. Also a great selection of beverages (peach ramune, mango calpico, and sake) to help wash down your sticky rice creations.

My go to spot when I need kimchi! Awesome selection of ramen, snacks, some nice alcohol from Asia, and plenty of other goodies. Whenever I go I make a point of stocking up on the honey butter chips they carry! They are addictive so be warned. Staff is also very polite and helpful. Overall cute, clean, nice little shop I recommend popping into.

Love this little store If you need asian food your likely to find there. Due to space there is not a large selection of fresh vegetables

I was raised in Hawaii and ate alot of Asian foods growing up. This market carries items that the regular markets dont in terms of Asian foods and seasonings. Nice store. Owners are friendly and helpful. A true Mom & Pop operation.

I love it because there are so many food items. The people who work here are helpful and nice. It reminds me of stores I used to shop in when I lived in Japan

Despite how small it looks from the outside, the shop has so much inside!! Tons of great options and the store owners are so nice! Tons of instant ramen choices and many fun snacks!

A lovely little shop with a surprisingly wide selection. They even have some nice produce (directly back, then to the left) if youre looking for some daikon. Reasonable prices and friendly staff. I love going here. I end up getting daifuku every time.

The lady that runs it is ALWAYS super nice! Shes patient, gives good recommendations, and when I bring my youngest with me she talks with him and listens to his little stories happily.I LOVE coming here and am so happy its close to us.Whenever my stomach is upset, the rice cakes/moon pops are one of the few things that help, and I love the little tea cakes too. They even have these super creamy ice cream pops, and ice cream bars in a wafer with either machi flavoring or red bean paste. It sounded weird to eat red bean paste with ice cream, but Im so happy I tried it!

This little place is great. Not as large as some other markets in town but there is a lot of variety in a small package! Picked up some toasted rice green tea and Pocky last time we went.

Except for not having Frozen fresh ramen noodles, I was able to find everything I needed to cook several Japanese meals to impress my extended family. The gentleman at the store directed me to some dry ramen from China which did the trick perfectly. The staff was pretty helpful, and the elderly woman ringing stuff up was charming and sweet! Make sure you check the tops of the sake bottles for prices because the first one I brought up to purchase in order to cook a meal turned out to be 60 bucks. once I realized that some of the prices are on top of the bottle I was able to find a decent $16 wine that worked with my recipe.

Ive bought some things here for some Asian recipes. I dont think it has the biggest selection of items, but Ive been able to get what I needed for some Japanese dishes Ive tried to make. Emphasis on tried.
