I got a notification that my order had been packed and shipped the very same day I ordered it and it arrived just three days later… even with covid shipping delays! It arrived beautifully packaged, with a handwritten note and evidence that it had clearly been packed up carefully and with love. And the quality of everything from herbs to candles to crystals? Not a huge stock, but mostly things I have never seen locally.Lots of interesting books, tarot decks I have never seen, herbs i would not know where to find in town, and they will make custom blends.And shopping local is always a plus, both to support the store and as a place for the community. Another store with diverse offering in Tucson is a good thing.Plus the vibe was very positive and welcoming.

The new space at the Ninth House is beautiful! Open and airy, bright, so well decorated. Its a pleasure to browse comfortably with masks. The goods curated are of the best quality. Many local artists and makers are featured and it felt great to purchase items to support local. Everyone working there was open and friendly and clearly enjoy the development of the shop - they were setting out clothing and appreciating the items. All of this creates such a positive shopping experience, especially after having so few over the last year. Im looking forward to coming in again. Brava!

Have you ever walked into a place and immediately felt truly comfortable? This was my Ninth House experience. There was such a positive and comfortable feel to it. It was a curl up on the couch and read a good book or have a deep conversation. Tucson is really lucky to have such a great place. The staff is very genuine and thoughtful. They may not have an overwhelming stock, but they do have meaningful and thoughtful stock that is very reasonably priced.

Small shop by a busy street. Very beautiful and the people inside are very kind and more than happy to answer questions and guide you to the proper tools or books that you are looking for or that will help you. From bath bombs to incense and dried herbs to help your basic witchy needs

The Ninth House is the best metaphysical shop that I have been to. It is small and has a very calming atmosphere to it. Melisa is very knowledgeable and is very willing to lend a hand to a novice, like me. You can get into contact with them on Instagram, where they are super active and Facebook.The Ninth House is a business that their main goal is to have a sense of community and include anyone and everyone that wants to be a part of it. They are also very focused on other local businesses. If it wasnt for the shop I wouldnt have found out about Our Luminaries, who by the way make the best scents ever, or the artists or even the pop in tarot readings.It is more than a shop; it is a gathering place for everyone.

Ive only found the Ninth House since the pandemic, but they have continued online tarot salons, astrology salons, classes, and support of the witchy/spiritual community. They also work with local artisans to sell handmade items in the shop, which is another great way to support the Tucson community. Im so glad to have found them!!

I love this shop. From the first time I stepped foot into it I felt welcome. They have super cute and relevant items (jewelry, crystals, herbs, books, etc), plus the classes are really well done. Definitely stop in if youre local, and check out the classes even if youre not! They are doing online classes right now and every one Ive been in has been great and informative.

I really always enjoy going to Nineth House. They feature some work from awesome local artists, have a great selection of books, and a very pleasant and calming atmosphere. Make sure to check out the great selection of incense too.

You feel it when you walk in. The owner knows her stuff and is as helpful as hades. They have a huge selection for whatever witchery that you like to get up to. They do online tarot classes. And though the size of the book department could use to grow a size or two, the ones they do have are the essentials.

This is a lovely shop with a wonderful, welcoming atmosphere. The owner is very friendly and helpful. There is a good selection of items. Since it is smaller, I found it a lot less overwhelming and everything I’ve gotten has been great quality and reasonably priced. Every time I visit there is something new and different to check out. In addition to the shop itself, the events/classes are really spectacular and worth checking out. I am fairly new to this and always have felt comfortable. I would definitely recommend visiting.

The Ninth House is my one-stop shop for incense, herb bundles, candles, crystals, and any other witchy item I ever run out of! The local art and jewelry pieces available there are striking as well, many of of which have made their way into my home and onto my walls. The Ninth House also offers some unique scents and skin care products; I enjoy visiting fairly regularly because I seem to always find something new that I hadnt seen before. Theres classes and readings available too, which I havent tried yet but hear very good things about. Overall, the prices are very fair and I enjoy shopping there because I like supporting local. Even during this time of social distancing and the physical shop being closed, Melisa offers curb-side pick up and delivery. My online order arrived so quickly and was a total day-brightener. So grateful to have this beautiful, purposeful space here in Tucson.

I used to wonder, why aren’t there decent, inviting metaphysical shops in Tucson? Then I met Melisa, proprietress of The Ninth House Shop. It’s an inviting, open space with good lighting, and carries locally crafted products, jewelry, crystals, decks, and unique items. The shop is also dedicated to building community and learning. Every week there are gatherings and classes available to attend. By participating in a few of these, I’ve met more people in the past few months than I’ve met in the past couple of years. My tarot reading with Melisa was an amazing experience. The minute I sat down with her I felt completely at ease. She is very professional and knowledgeable in her interpretations. There was no need to take notes because she provided a picture of my cards along with a detailed summary of what they meant. In addition, Melisa included reflection questions to help guide me to a deeper understanding. The Ninth House Shop is a fun place to shop for that special something to soothe and/or enlighten your soul.

Real attractive and comfortable space!! As soon as i walked in i felt at ease in this zen environment. I had the pleasure of using The Ninth House as a gathering space for my yoga work. The atmosphere was just right and i felt we were cared for greatly by Melisa. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to host (or attend) a gathering of some kind and enjoy the metaphysical elements. Afterwards i stayed for a Tarot reading and some boutique shopping. I enjoyed my day here and can’t wait to return!

Ive been to this shop probably over half a dozen times since it opened, and I *really* love it! Ive done several of the workshops there - candle making, tarot reading, and an astrology workshop, and I attend Wild Woman Soul Circle there once a month. Im attending an upcoming herbalism course too, and I *cannot* wait for that one! The classes have all been really great - not too overwhelming or over my head as Im a beginner in much of these magickal practices. Ive also met some really cool and amazing women - all walking their own path with much to share and learn from. II think they are all also taught by local women entrepreneurs and so its pretty amazing to be able to support other women doing their thing through another woman owned shop.The selection of the shop is also great - you can find books, cards, rocks, crystals, t-shirts, local handmade self care products, jewelry, tarot cards. The vibe of the store is also great - super chill and just the kind of place you could hang out and relax for a while.Tucson has needed a space like this for a LONG time, and Im soooo glad we finally have one. Its not snooty like some places can be when youre newer to this world, its super inclusive, open, and just genuinely warm. I really love that this is now a part of this town I love - it has become my go to for all things magickal!
