Called for a quote on replacing the sole on a Clarkes desert boot. The gentlemen said no gum sole ok no gum sole bye and then hung up.

I wear a pair of cowboy boots everyday. The sole was coming apart in one. He fixed it up about half a year ago and its still holding strong, unlike el con on the east side of town. He put good craftsmanship into my boot and even stitched it. Quite inpressed. Will be going there again

MAGICAL! I had these nice heeled sandals from years ago and I stopped wearing them because the back strap always slipped off my ankle. Well I took them to this shop and NOW they are perfect and it was only $18 and that included gluing on the sole and cutting and sewing the back strap. The man was very nice and my shoes were ready in 3 days.

We had a pair of dress mens loafers repaired recently. The replacement soles were thinner than the originals, the stitching thread used was a thick, light tan and almost jute looking material with some of it extending over the sole itself, instead of a dark blue, brown or black strong thread/cord usually used. It was messy to look at and I cant imagine it will hold up well. The new heels were put on with a small silver brads/nails, and the ends of several of them could be felt on the bottom of the heel sticking out of the leather part and will therefore scratch any floor walked on. We will not take the other identical pair to have resoled.

I have been using this shop for years. They always do a good job and usually give me options for how to repair an item (new leather sole vs Vibram). They have repaired multiple shoes, purse straps, belts, and even a show lead for a hunting dog.

Excellent work. I dropped off a pair of boots to get the stitching repaired at 5 oclock on Friday and they were ready at 12 oclock on Saturday.

They do as little as they can possibly get away with and charge outrageous prices. Most places will go the extra mile and at the very least wipe your shoes down after they repair them so they look nicer; but all they do is throw them on their filthy floor or a dirty shelf after theyre repaired. Filthy, disorganized shop, rude owner/customer service and cash only business. Hmmmm...
