This store always is stocked full of merchandise. The workers are so helpful and wonderful. They’re always willing to talk about new products or offer something new if you’re bored with your current makeup routine. They are a busier store but the cash wrap line always goes fast! They usually have all or most registers open on the weekends and you can get in and out pretty fast if you’re in a rush. Love this store. I’ll go out of my way to come here!

Hello. Just came out and the cashier was not nice at all. She straight said ewwww because I pulled out a $50 from my shirt. She said You pulled it out of your bra! I told her I had it tucked in between my bra and dress. I told her I don’t have packets and that why I put it there so I wouldn’t lose it. I told her to give it to me back if she didn’t want to take it, she said it’s ok. I told her no give it back. She said no that it was fine. I told her to use hand sanitizer and gloves. Her name is Anna register 5. Store # 191. Beware! Make sure to pull your $ out of your wallet!

I’ve honestly never really had a good experience at this particular location. They’re either short staffed and rude or over staffed to the point you’re being followed around everywhere with little to no help. Store was also a mess, with little to no testers and empty shelves. I needed help/seccond opinion on matching foundation but the staff was non existent/avoidant.

I would give no stars if possible. Firstly I had an appointment scheduled for Sunday 4/25 and a few days before I get a call that they need to reschedule me with a different stylist.. no big deal and reschedule for Saturday 4/24. I arrived today for my appointment and I’m told at my appointment that the stylist quit and there’s no one to cut my hair. No apology and no help rescheduling. The person I spoke to didn’t apologize or offer any solution just started checking in her 10 am appointment. I have been a loyal customer of Ulta salons in several different states over about 7 years, well not anymore

If you want to stand in the middle of the store and be ignored by no less than 5 employees, and the store manager, to the point that even your kids embarrassed, this Ulta is the Ulta for you!But really, just take your money to Sephora, MAC, etc. There is a whole entire mall a few blocks away. Tried to go for a haircut. Firstly getting an appointment is such a hassle here. When I went I was told I’d had to wait even longer and the lady just stared cutting the other girls hair. Ridiculous. They don’t have many stylists and one lady looked so slow at her work. I really don’t recommend this ulta for a hair service.

Well i went in for a $12 eyebrow pencil, and now need to sell a kidney. In all seriousness they constantly seemed to be out of a lot of items and very rarely replace them or restock. They are usually staffed however around the holidays seemed to be understaffed

I’ve been to this location about 4 times. I travel for work and when I’m the SeaTac area I pick up items I need or forgot back home. Customer Service can use some training. Not friendly. I’ve had to interact with a few of the employees to ask for items. The store is cluttered at the front where you form lines.Not a great experience... I’ll come back because I need something, not for customer experience.

I was racially profiled while shopping at this location. I was given the kill with kindness afterthought kind of customer service used to deter shoplifters. I know what this looks like, as I have worked in retail for several years in the past.This wouldnt have bothered me as much and I probably wouldnt have considered leaving a review, if only for the fact that multiple employees failed to provide GENIUNE customer service. Upon entering I was NOT greeted, while two employees by the door continued their conversation. I walked up and down the hair care isles several times attempting to find a specific dry shampoo and was never assisted. Then, I went to look for a specific sunblock. Overall, after 20 minutes or more I was approached and assisted. While debating my options I was approached again in less than 3 minutes and offered a basket. A shoplifting deterrent from my experience in retail. While holding ONE item.I rarely shop at Ulta and will most definitely look into other online retailers before choosing to shop at their locations again.The entire team at this location, should revisit genuine customer service training. It is especially disappointing having experienced this in these especially tense racial times we are currently living through.

This Ulta isnt terrible but there are a couple of things that ruin my experience there.1. I hate how much the cashiers push credit cards on you. I felt like saying no politely didnt really do anything. Saying no in general doesnt stop them. Any other Ulta I go into doesnt pester me about credit cards as much so I avoid this store for that reason.2. There is never enough stock. It seems like every time I go in, all the items I am looking for are just empty shelves with heavily used testers sitting there. It isnt a big deal if it is a single product but when a lot of brands have empty shelves, I feel like it is a waste of a drive to go there. They just need more inventory or to at least stock the shelves when there is nothing to do. Ive seen there be four employees standing around chatting with each other instead of assist customers or replenish makeup.If these two issues were fixed, I think the store would do so much better. Im not mad, just disappointed.

They are lacking in fragrances but they make up for it with everything else. Excellent make up and skin care. Definitely become a member and get the credit card they offer, it gets you incredible discounts and points you can use for hair cuts, make overs and other extras. Also the staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Love Ulta but not the best experience. There was 1 cashier open and I was next in line with 3 people behind me. The person behind me asked another sales associate to check her out. She waited until The cashier was finished with her customer (took about 5 mins) so that I would be directed to that cashier then the associate helped the person behind me. Not to mention that associate was chatting with another associate next to the registers not helping anyone. Poor customer service.

Rude, snobby, and had very little knowledge of the products they were selling. Couldn’t even make the correct foundation match and the lady argued with me telling me that I wasn’t the professional when I told her that I didn’t feel like that shade matched my skin tone.,, I’ve never been so insulted . Then I over heard two ladies gossiping about a women whom they had suspicions were shop lifting would not help the lady when asked and made her feel so uncomfortable she put her basket down and walked out when the two ladies walked up to the security and whispered to him the guard stops the lady and demands to search her purse after all that it was determined she didn’t take anything the ladies where just plain disrespectful. I’ll never go to this Ulta ever again.

I enjoy Ulta and their products, I just hated the experience checking out. I had told the person (in a manager position, I don’t remember her name) who was checking me out that I was not interested in a credit card, and she continuously tried to convince me to buy it, even when I verbally and physically showed that I did not want to buy it. It was an extremely frustrating experience as I understand she is required to try to make a deal but it is incredibly frustrating to tell the cashier no every time. After I finally told her I didn’t want it, her mood changed completely and gave me horrible customer service.

This review is on a Poor reflection Gina (manger/higher position, blond female ) gave me while I was shopping at Ulta Beauty. The associate name started with A Name.I came in to the store to make a store purchase and the sales associate was very friendly and grate customer service she asked me if I wanted to apply for a credit card and I decided to. The associate gave me a small complementary gift for applying right after her manger Gina, came and started asking her questions in a very rude tone. She stated that “we don’t just hand out free stuff here, what are you doing” at no point did she acknowledge the fact that I was standing in front of them. She had made a small mistake nothing major which I believe could have been handled in the back but no Gina Proceeded to scold this associate very loudly in front of me and the people that were waiting in line. The associate was very embarrassed and I was just awkwardly standing there and Gina never at once used her costumer service to ask to wait while she handed this change . She stormed to the back of the store as she proceeded to yell at the other employees about a meeting or something of that nature. No employee should be treated that way and if so you pull them aside after. I was so close to just telling her I did not want any of the stuff I was purchasing anymore as a statement because that was unacceptable!Always treat your team well and show positive reinforcement and make the shopper feel at ease when someone doesn’t go right!

Bailey is amazing!! The best hair stylist Ive been to. Friendly as can be and she knew how to work with my curls which made my experience so much more enjoyable. I couldnt thank her enough for my cute pixie cut that has everyone complimenting me! By the way, she absolutely loves to do pixie cuts so keep in mind thats one of her specialties! Also, for makeup advice I always go to Mo!! Shes also very friendly. My only complaint is everyone else there could try to be more friendly and stop giving condescending looks. Otherwise, I have a great experience there with Bailey and Mo around. :)

I went in to Ulta today to exchange and item that was almost exactly the same and the same price. I did not have the receipt and the manager Rodrigo was very rude and said that he could not exchange my item. I was very offended. He acted as though I was a thief and had stole this item when I was simply asking for a simple exchange that would have been very easy. It was the same exact brand just the wrong color. I went in a few days prior and purchased 100 dollars worth. Good news is I called the Ulta at the landing in Renton and the manager there was very kind and helped me with no problem!!!!

The workers were no help AT ALL. I am just starting make up and was pretty much lost in this store and I know the workers noticed because they kept looking at me but bot once came up to me. When i went to a worker and asked questions she seemed as if she wasnt sure or as if maybe she was to busy to really help me. I ended up leaving. I will just order online. The reviews online where way more helpful then the actual workers. Kinda sad. If i was working there i would never treat my customers as if i was to busy to help.

Visited Benefit Brow Bar - Sara - awesome service, she is amazing and my brows turn out beautifully shaped and defined. Sara is also extremely good at applying the tint, matching the color perfectly and enhancing the well-groomed look of your brows. Oh my God this store has literally everything. The only thing that I did not like was people trying to make sure I wasnt stealing anyting. I cant really complain about that because I have heard of a lot of people stealing from their stores, but it also just feels kind of targeting... The store has everything from the latest eyeshadow palettes, the higher-end brands, the latest newest lipsticks, fragrances, and so much more. I will say it is like being like a kid in the candy store. I would say go into the store with a budget and a plan that way you dont end up overspending, and buying so much makeup.

I always will love Ulta Beauty. 💕Pretty spacious ulta with separated sections of between high end brands once u walk into the store and low end brand names are near the other end corner. I always purchase the brand names that I’m already used too. The customer service can be attentive once you ask for help. They should smile more too they all look lowkey distressed. I shopped at Ulta on Southcenter Pkwy today. Four different people helped me with various things--each one was very pleasant, friendly, and helpful. One gal even saw me carrying three things and brought over a bag and helped me put the items in the bag so they would be easier to carry. Another gal took quite a bit of time with me in choosing a blow dryer. She really knew info about them and went over and got the diffuser that fits that dryer rather than telling me where to go get it. I felt very helped without being smothered. The gal at the desk was pleasant and cheerful. My experience there was a pleasure.

I like the Kent and Federal Way location better. This location has terrible lighting; due to the fact that its in a strip mall, versus a standalone location (which, they really cant control, anyway). Selection was also not as good. Lots of things out of stock. Hair dye area was seriously lacking; again, this is probably not the best place to go for this but, just a heads up.

The ladies that help with matches your shade for make up are amazing! I don’t visit this store as much as I would like because I’m sure they have a shrinkage issue as to why they asked if I need help a million times. It’s understandable but still uncomfortable. Where we went around the store a worker just so happened to be on their way there also. When we went to the nail polish the security was there. I definitely get it but should customers that pay their hard earned money be treated as if they “might” steal something? Once we paid for our things and walked toward the door security said thanks have a good day

Purchased $400 dollars worth of make up from ULTA Southcenter. A few weeks later I returned the items that were not a good fit for me. The Items returned were a portion of my order and I was well within the return policy. I was questioned by the employee and then again by the manager. The manager harassed and badgered me for so long a line started to form behind me. I finally had to ask her to stop harassing me and finish my transaction. Sometimes people change their mind after they leave the store, she insisted I use the tester and make final decisions. That’s what the return policy is for. Beware of horrible service your better off spending your money at Nordstroms.

I went into Ulta Southcenter with my kids. Ive been a customer with Ulta for over 5 years. I went in to get foundation matched to my skin, the make up girl was very unpleasant and unwelcoming. I asked her to match it overall on my face because my face has blemishes and dark spots, she refused. The foundation she recommended and I ended up buying was too dark for my skin when I came home. As I was walking through aisles shopping with my kids, two staff members made us very uncomfortable as they kept following us. I understand theft is big etc etc but the staff made shopping experience very uncomfortable and unproffesional.

Went here to buy a very generic beauty product and they had a very small selection of what I wanted. I chose the only product they stocked that matched what I was looking for and afterwards I consulted the beauticians about a tinted moisturizer. The stuff I bought (that was recommended) was really overpriced, and the sample I had on my face felt oily after a while. The entire time I felt like the staff was watching me like they thought I was going to steal something and it made me feel really uncomfortable. I returned the makeup I bought the next day.

I’ve been to this location a few times in the past 3 months, and won’t be going back because the experience of looking for the right product and with the employees here is incredibly irritating.1. This store constantly has products incorrectly placed. I usually go in needing a kind of product (like a lip scrub or a spot treatment) so I like to compare different ones based on ingredients. It’s hard to do that when the product I want to find isn’t in the spot the placards say they are.2. Their credit card signup push is INSANELY annoying; the employees ignore you when you say “no” and are jaded in general. I have to tell the cashier- at a minimum- 5 times that I’m not interested before they stop talking, and the only reason they stop talking is because they finished their memorized speech. They have talked over me while I said I was not interested, ignored me, and all in a way that makes it clear they aren’t listening to a word I am saying. I get they are required to try to close a deal, but when a customer says no, LISTEN TO THEM. This is a huge part of why I will not be returning.3. The employees constantly badger you, asking if you want help, or need a shopping bag. It is incredibly frustrating to have 3 or 4 different employees coming up to me and asking if I need a shopping bag or assistance. If I decline one of their massively oversized bags (I only buy 1 or 2 small products at a time), the employees give me weird looks. They insist it will be helpful so I don’t have to carry the product around- which doesn’t make sense, because if I am only buying one thing, I’d either have to carry that thing or the bag around- both are one thing to carry, and a huge bag is more of an inconvenience than a tiny item. Also, talk to your associates!!! If someone already asked me if I need help, why does another associate come up to me 30 seconds later asking if I need help? If I didn’t need help then, I probably don’t need it 30 seconds later. And don’t follow me around every aisle pretending to sweep lol. I didn’t decline a bag because I want to steal stuff, I declined it because I don’t want to carry around a 3’ bag for a single 2” product.

I was trying to purchase some shampoo and conditioner and said Ill get it through amazon like I have before. Than I had another associate by the name of Gina get involved stating Amazon doesnt sale the real stuff my response yes they do Ive been using the same stuff for 2 years. She rolled her eyes and told another associate what happened. Most of the staff was rather rude, clueless, and spent a great deal wondering around the store socializing amongst each other. However, there was one nice staff member that had some knowledge about the products they carry.If you MUST go to this location which I would NOT recommend....Find the staff member who is NOT: giving you the stink eye, watching you like a hawk, and does not look like a circus clown. And for some reason even though I spend literally in the thousands of my money on their products, I’m not allowed to come in for the ONE TIME and fix up my makeup using the testers. But you let middle schoolers come in and play around with the testers yet I can’t use them, me!
