Today we tried the self check line. It was strange at Costco I was wondering how they would know if you scanned everything. Well they have people watching at the checkout line and the receipt prints out blue so they check closer at the door. Good job Costco. I stilll like personal service better.

This review is for the Tukwila Costco. Its HUGE! Bigger than any other Costco Ive been to. Thats almost a bad thing, as I was legitimately lost for a bit while in there. However - there cashier lines seem to be shorter than other Costcos as well - which is a big positive as Costco lines on average tend to be pretty rough. The parking lot is big - and no spots are too far away. They have little ordering computers for their deli - which makes the process of getting my greasy little $2 pizza quick and easy, haha.My favorite Costco so far - hope you like it too!

Being a Costco member for many years I regularly shop there for various foods (many organic) as well as for clothes. I also purchase supplies and tools used in my construction business. My last visit I scored a Firman 9400 watt generator for $699 that several others are selling for $1299. Plus, a month ago, I bought 10 pairs of Chaps brand denim jeans for $11 each. Havent seen prices like that for at least 25 years!

Costco has done amazing during this pandemic. They are following all reasonable safety guidelines yet still are providing customer service unlike BestBuy. Everyone knows that their tech prices are second to none but they frequently go on sale as well. For example, the Legion 5 gaming laptop is scheduled to go on sale in a few weeks for a thousand dollars which is a killer deal.On a side note, it is still silly that they already have Halloween costumes out even though its August and the way things are going this year with the pandemic, we probably wont even have Halloween but thats another discussion... Overall very good and highly recommended

I finally decided to become and adult and get a Costco card. I was going to just get the basic membership because when I read about the extra bells and whistles I just felt meh about them. When I got to the front desk I was greeted by a friendly smiling worker named Rachel. I was surprised by her demaneor as the membership desk was really busy but Rachel made it seem as if I was her only customer and took her time with us. Rachel went over all three memberships and there great options taking the time to to explain each cards benefits to us. We ended up going with the Executive membership, even after we told Rachel we wanted the basic one in the beginning. We would of went with the credit card option but we are in the process of purchasing a home and can not open any new lines of credit. If it wasnt for Rachel sparkling personality and patients with making us feel like we were her only customer we would of just gotten the basic card. Thank you Rachel for making our first experience with Costco a great one.

Never thought Id pay to go shopping anywhere. A family member gifted us with a year-long membership though about 5 or so years ago and weve been hooked ever since. This had gone doubly so once our family grew. The generic products are just as good as (at times better than) the brand names. I dont know what we would have done without their much less expensive formula and diapers. We get most of our grocery shopping done there, and sometimes take advantage of their deals on clothes, shoes, books, and toys.It is best to not be shy about shopping around. When they have deals, they tend to be incredible. Theyre not all deals though. I also recommend getting bread from somewhere else, though their baked goods tend to be good.

Great service at the Southcenter optical center. 5 star for them. One star for not leaving a closed checkout lane not blocked with carts. Cashier yells at you if you try walking out that way. I have loved Costco and the concept of a wharehouse since it opened as Price Club. I have purchased so many things at the various locations including abroad from food to prescription glasses to gasoline to tires to phones computers, TVs and furniture. Ive made parties with their trays and sang many Happy Birthdays to their cakes. Ive brought snacks to the kids soccer games and cupcakes to the show and tell. The kids would make Lemonade Stands to earn money to buy video games, toys, movies, coloring books and craft supplies.I also hear that as a company they treat their employees with fairness and respect. I have had to return many a things over the years for various reasons and they never gave me a hard time with any of them. The other thing I love about Costco is that they know how to grow with the market and provide us customers with the things we are asking for the most like Organic Food for example. They already have their own brand that makes at least one Organic version of most commonly used foods. They carry the best known brands even though they might not have the top of the line of each but what they have you can rely on when you purchase it. They employ people with disabilities and they have many elderly people giving away samples, makes it feel more like home. And lets not forget the friends that we meet when we go there, like these two friends we met yesterday. Were happy to have such a nice branch close to us, they have everything we need and then some. Im a loyal fan can you tell? ;)

I purchased 4.56 lbs of beef for stew. I usually can divide bulk me into 3 freezer bags and make stew or beef & gravy for 4-6 people. This time however, I used half or over 2.25 lbs and found after cooking the beef in a slow cooker: it was hard to find in my stew! Instead it was a vegetable stew with bits of beef. I realize the COVID situation has an affect on quality but the label says, USDA Prime. I thought quality, but no. Be careful when purchasing the beef for stew!!

I took my mother in law (70 yo) and my daughter (5 yo) to Costco this morning at 9:40am. It was senior hours that I normally take my mother in law in to help her with her grocery shopping. Today they refused to let me in. The reason was that I had my daughter with me. All of us had our masks on. The employees were rude and insensitive to us. They made my daughter and I waited outside for 20 minutes while my mother in law came in first. They did not offer any apologies or any help to my elderly mother in law. I have never experienced such a humiliation and discrimination. I had tried to explain that my daughter was off school that day and I didn’t know that kids are not allow to come in early. I felt sad and hopeless. This pandemic has tremendous negative effects on all of us and I understand the policies but I would appreciate it if the employees had been a little more sensitive toward the situation. It would have been better if they had shown some sympathy and offer to help my mother in law with her shopping while I couldn’t come in with her. I’m very disappointed in how Costco employees treat their customers like that.

Ok, Ok, Ok…I’m biased, it took us too long to understand/realize why Costco is amazing, but it is; 22years; (18 as an executive member), it’s worth the moneys as the rebate pays for the membership every year and we still have moneys left over. With that, we’re 99 and 44/100ths happy with COSTCO;Meats, Traveling Sea Food Stand (West Coast), Fresh Tuna still Red, bulk cereals for the young’s/Old’ns, Traveling Meat Stand (Midwest/Tulsa) just awesome cuts, full up Tenderlions, Huge selections of adult beverages, Real Cane Sugar Coka-Cola, Specialty Cheese’s, Cellphone Kiosk, smoker pellets, fresh baked breads/ciabattas/muffins/croissants, good selection of gift cards, great selection of frozen staples as well, unbelievable check out speeds even when six carts deep. And to top it off, most recently a whole leg of Jamón Serrano from Spain (see Picture), HAM FROM SPAIN, it was one of those purchases where you say to yourself, “It was a good thing that I didn’t have adult supervision with me (aka the Better 95 and 44/100ths)”. Anyway, bought it and we threw a Taps Party with 20 good friends. We made it through 1/12th of the leg ~1.25lbs, during the celebration. If’n I would have purchased just the sliced Serrano it would have set me back $65… Did I mention the leg was only 99Frog Pelts. JUST awesome, have to mention that COSTO had a three pack of Spanish Cheese(s) to accompany the Jamón… The spouse and I have been treating ourselves to grilled cristine jamón serrano sandwiches with manchego.Regarding the 99FrogPelts, If’n you look on this thing call the WEB, the same Jamón Serrano from a MULTI-Conglomerate is selling same, just a tad bit more, as in A TAD Bit More… BTW, if anyone cares we practiced TFB-COVID distancing.Side note regarding Spain and jamón serrano... Ive been to Madrid and seeing 87 of these hanging in the store is awesome. Regarding safety, well theyve been doing this for over 2000 years, certain theyve figured it outI have to mention that there are COSTCO’s in the UK as well. Having previously been on assignment for 16months, COSTCO was like a bit of USA, with noted slight changes due to the English being there. Food Court had Bangers and Mash and Baked Beans and a few others, much to my displeasure there wasn’t any haggis. Also my membership worked there just fine, no questions asked…and the parking spaces were Am-Er-I-Can Sized, full up honest to GOD parking spaces; you couldn’t hit the other cars side If’n you tried when you opened your door. Funny yet is to see, a SMART Car in a COSTCO parking slot, wish I still had that pic to show. Now for the 66/100ths  …Produce, for a good portion its good, not great, and it seems to start to spoil sooner than the local grocer. In many cases the delta cost covers the loss but more than 40% vegetables get tossed and we do go through a good portion daily, alas it might be a bit too much bulk quantity.Stuff we loved but for some reason no longer available, or if so, only on rare-rare occasions, Adams Creamy Peanut Butter, Older Style Cargo Shorts; the ones with eleven pockets with buttons, The Most Beloved Polish Dogs at the Food CourtOK, ending on a sour note isn’t normally a good way to close on a business that in our minds is awesome. So I need to mention the COSTCO Business Centre in Fife. Definitely a different selection and well worth the travels for us. It’s a once every 6 week journey, again worth it for the difference in products.Lastly, COSTO EMPLOYEEs are great, I’ve/We’ve never had a bad dialog with anyone regardless of what they’re doing. If’n we only had another 2000 shares of COSTCO stock, but that’s another storyKind Regards

Bakery is very unfriendly for customers. You have to come in, in person twice to get a cake. No phone orders, no online orders. This is inconvenient and irresponsible during covid. We called to ask if they could do a chocolate cake with vanilla frosting, they said, sure, no problem. We placed the order then, the morning of pick up, they called to say they could not fulfill the order. I called back and convinced them, but just lame and unnecessarily stressful.I also dont appreciate how sales associates approach you during check out and try to get you to upgrade your membership.
