Weve been here many times for work get togethers. Always wonderful service and food. Never busy or a wait for anything. If you havent been there, worth a try!

Short but challenging course. Greens are really nice and well manicured. Worth every penny

Easy, inexpensive course that is great for beginners! Be careful not to leave anything valuable in your car though because my car window got shattered and valuables were taken.

Fairway course is simple, food is mediocre and over priced with a small selection of food to choose from. Bar is nice but also overpriced drinks. The food menue is more of a dinner menu with less appetizers or snack food for on the go. So if your golfing and want munchies for the field, bring your own. Most employees in the bar are great there. DONT PAY AND TIP IN CASH AND GET YOUR RECEIPT. Overall this is an okay place for a quick and close by location but almost every other course Ive been to has much better food, prices, and fairway courses design.

I had a really good time out on their patio. The waitresses were outstanding. Nice place to have a bite and a drink.

Great course, not too hard or to hilly, nice facilities, great food, and nice people. One of my favorite public courses in the greater Seattle area.

Enjoyed a nice lunch with my side and her guy. Then stayed and met up with my handsome sons before heading home to las Vegas.

Pretty fun course, but awful customer service from the kitchen. Called them three times on the 8th hole. Second time left a message. Went there after the ninth and asked for a hotdog. Lady told me theyre burnt. I told her I called in 3 times and she said, oh I just didnt answer the phone. Okay...? Whats the point of the phone number if nobody is going to answer it...

Fun short difficult little track. Keep it in play and it will yield a good score. My first time here and definitely learned a bunch about it

Enjoyable round, opportunities to make birdies allover the place - especially with a good drive. Trees offer the main challenge here, otherwise youre looking at fairly straightforward parkland stuff. No super long rough to deal with, greens were in great condition considering its late Jan. Had a tasty brisket sandwich in the Caddyshack themed Billy Baroos clubhouse. Also came across a real life Al Czervik on the course, music playing and everything.

Needs a bit more water in places, but greens in good shape.

I mean the 19th hole is named The Billy Baroo for the crying out loud! Course was packed all the way past when we finished (teed off at 2pm, finished 7pm) with people having a fun time enjoying a late summer round. Lots of couples, lots of friends. Drink cart ever present. Charming course, decent, playable conditions and the greens were actually very nice.If youre looking for a regulation, serious golf experience, it might not be for you. But if you want to have a fun time in a nice setting and have a modicum of patience, give it a shot. Knock a few back, tell lots of stories between shots, have a tasty burger after. To be honest, if you cant have fun at Foster, the problem isnt the course, or the slow play, or any other lame excuse, the problem is you.

Pretty good condition considering time of year. Slow play, typical Saturday public course hurry and wait golf. Staff was friendly, cart we had was a bit rough but got us where we needed.

Foster Golf Links is a public golf course only a few minutes south of Seattle, so very convenient. The parking lot of huge here, the staff is nice, and the prices arent that bad. The greens and fairways are very well maintained, but if you have a tee time past 9am, get ready to wait around as it gets mobbed by big groups of slower golfers and prices go up a bit.

The course is beautiful and well-maintained; and the staff are down-to-earth, friendly, respectful and accommodating. Been golfing there for over 20 years.

For the price, you really cant complaint. The course is a little sloppy due to the rain, but it is expected around this time of the year (December). Overall, its a short and fun golf course. I would play it whenever we get a dry sunny day!

The greens are in the best shape Ive ever seen them. Ive been going there since the early 70s the rest of the course is in good shape also. Teed off at 6 a.m. finished in less than 3 hours walking

I Teed off at 7:10 on Thursday morning with two Brothers and another gentleman.We found Foster Links Fairways, Greens and Sandtraps were all very well maintained.Our foursome finished a very enjoyable round of golf in a solid two hours and forty-five minutes.My Kudos for the Grounds Crew, Maintenance and all others whom have not only improved Foster Links, but maintained the Course during all of our recent bad weather.Thanks, Harold Higgins

Nice, clean course. The people who work here are very kind and friendly, even if youre just asking for directions or to use the restroom. Customers are very nice as well. Highly recommended.

Nice short course. not too challenging but beautifully maintained.

Had a great time flying through this course on our gorgeous fall evening last night. Was able to play through in 2.5 hours for $17. The course was in very nice shape for the most part. Im impressed with the quality of the tee boxes here; most looked fantastic. The greens and fairways had been punched recently. Greens were a little bumpy and slow but still perfectly playable and I was able to make some good putts. The fairways were still coming back in some places, so just give yourself a good lie if you come across a bare patch. Ill have to come back to play after work before heading north more often.

Beautiful day out for golf! Today merks the 2nd time on an 18 hole regulation golf course. Yeah, I shot a 105 but Im new at this and we had a blast!!! Fun course, and great staff! Ill be back.

I have placed this course dozen and dozens of times .. Fun course to play doesnt beat you up had some desent challenges over water....pace get a bit slow at times... Staff from the pro shop to the restaurant are excellent.

Course and staff are cool, had people hit into me on 2 different Par 3s though so you may need to stay vigilant of who is playing behind you.

Course was great. But they were out mowing the fairways at 9:00 am. A bit distracting with a big machine at that time. Definitely enjoyed the course otherwise though.

I like the course layout. Simple straight fairways, short 18 with mostly 300 yard par 4s. This links style course should be an easy course to move people. HOWEVER, the way they are packing in tee times with groups of foursomes and more back to back within mins is extremely worrisome for social distancing and pace of play. I had to leave at hole 7 as a twosome with the 3 groups of about 11 people stuck at the next tee as were we pushing 30 mins a hole. Almost 2 1/2 hrs before even reaching the 9. I informed management that it was not the first time as this happened on a Wednesday noon, sat 3pm, and fri. They have a serious problem with packing tees causing so much buildup. I really wanted to love this course. We tried 3 times. Think were done, first time having to leave mid round to beat traffic back south.

This place is EXCELLENT!!! I know nothing about golf but I was there to eat at there restaurant. The food was EXCELLENT as well. The restaurant staff were totally and I mean totally attentive, very informative about the food and honest. I appreciated how they communicated to me in a professional and polite manner that they were not my server. I will be back again.

Course was very well maintained right now 5/5. Way better than the Seattle muni courses at the moment. Booked our tee time on golfnow and prepaid because that was the only option and when I arrived I requested the youth on course or junior rate for our youth. Was denied because I booked online.... Said he couldnt do it since its through golfnow. I dont think thats true as a course in OR gave us a refund once and then charged correctly. Also I dont think at 5:38pm you should be charging full price. Course was very crowded for the front nine and slow. A twosome skipped us when we were teeing off on 9 (they went to 10) got skipped when on the green of 11 and skipped again when on the green of 15... So couldnt finish 18. Because of this, not my first choice of courses to play. But again course looks nice.

Foster is a really good Muni. Its really short and relatively easy but its always well maintained. If you hit it straight youll shoot a great round, theres only 2 holes that really require a driver off the tee. The river runs around/through the course so even though the yardage is short (par is 68) the course definitely challenges you. Not to mention the trees that line every fairway. Always fun to play here

Very nicely groomed course. Not to challenging (for a duffer like me), lots of straight fairways. Kinda fun watching the trains go by while playing. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Did not eat at the restaurant this time but have in the past and found the food to be very good. This was my first times out this year and it was a great course to open on. Will certainly go back again.

My friends and I play try and play there once a week. The course is in great shape and the front desk and grounds keepers are very friendly.

Great little golf course. Shorter than most with only 1 par five, but fun to play. Our Golf League plays there each week during the dry season:-)

This is my favorite golf course in the region, which can be busy on League days - but what course isnt? Well-maintained and always has a tee time for you and a couple friends. Not an elaborate course, but also not as easy as some would say. A bit shorter off the tee, but a good early season confidence builder for people just setting out. I like walking it due to the exercise, but they have carts to rent (for a sizeable charge). I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking to play golf in the region. The food inside the clubhouse is also very good.

I actually go here for Karaoke on Friday nights. Great singers! Wish they stayed open a little later, but either way, its a fun place.

Nice short course but fairways are narrow. Greens were recently punched & sanded. Several fairways were in very rough shape. Great restaurant to get a drink or food after round.

Nice facility. The course was in good shape for early Spring. Decent charge for green fees. No driving range.

Great place to go if you want your car window broken and any valuables stolen. Three cars got looted including mine. Workers at foster golf course said no big deal it happens all the time.

It was super early in the morning and the workers were very conscious of getting the mowers off the greens or fairways before I was even ready to shoot my shot. I also dropped my head cover once and the worker caught up to me and brought me the head cover. I lost another one sometime along the way and it was waiting at the clubhouse for me when I finished my round. Very impressed and as always this short course was in great condition.

We love coming here. Yes, its the closest course, but it is gorgeous, and Billy Baroos smokes their own meat and has a wonderful menu! (Chopped Salad! Brisket!) Yall come!

Ill be honest, I was here for a work event and had a considerable amount to drink. Im terrible at golf anyway so Im sure that didnt help. I drove the golf card and it was great. What staff I remember speaking to were friendly. Ive only played golf a handful of times, mostly at this course, so I have no idea how it compares.

Great golf course I feel for those that are getting into the sport of golf, I dont want to call this a beginners golf course but the staff is great, and the course is very well maintained, I would say its a great introductory experience to golf.

Good restaurant great food, and friendly staff. They have Karaoke on Friday nights 7:30pm to11:00pm. Also, Saturday night is Jazz night that feature local bands etc for the locals.

AS I GET OLDER THIS COURSE IS MORE MY STYLE. IT IS SHORTER BUT THE FAIRWAYS ARE A LITTLE TIGHT. THE GREENS ARE PRETTY LEVEL.THE COURSE TENDS TO STAY WET AND LEADS TO CART PATH ONLY A LOT. BEING DISABLED, THIS CAN BE A PROBLEM.THE BAR IS ONE OF THE STRANGEST DESIGNS IVE EVER SEEN. IT IS NOT DESIGNED FOR EASE OF SERVICE.OVERALL I LIKE THE COURSE. IT WHERE I GO TO HEAL MY GOLF GAME AFTER A TERRIBLE ROUND.

This review is for Billy Baroos the restaurant attached to Foster Golf Links.By the end of the evening Id spent over $90 there was nothing good enough to take home with me...Some of the worst food Ive had in a long time. What makes it even more disappointing is how good it was 10 years ago.I really cant imagine how you can ruin so many dishes, because we both had appetizers, salads and main courses. I didnt know you could make a bad Caesar salad until today. It was bland and the shrimp on top were previously frozen. We shared our thoughts with the waitress and she said she would pass it on to the new, chef I hope that she does. Ugh.

Nice space for a business or personal gathering. The appetizer spread was very tasty, varied offerings.Looked at the menu and it looked quite tasty.

Not a bad course at all, but Im only giving it 3 stars because of the two reasons:1. The course is short overall (only one par 5 hole), which can be a good thing if you want to finish a round under 4 hours. And its very easy to play, so good for beginners.2. A couple of the holes are by the water passage that had bad odor. Not sure what it is, but it was not a good experience for me personally.Besides those two points, the course is conveniently located (right off I-5), and maintained fairly well (better than most munis). Price was good ($37) considering I played on a weekend day.

Its a very short course (blue tee is 4800 yd) but very cheap and close to home. Friendly staff and the restaurant has good selection of beers.

Too many just straight long shots. The whole course just felt like whole one over and over again. Good for beginners, but overall a lackluster experience.

The first 11 holes had a horrible smell coming from the water. The greenskeepers were not working in a timely manner. I had to wait for the greenskeepers to move out of the way on 16 of the 18 holes. Two of the greenskeepers allow their dogs to run wild around the golf course without a leash. Every 10 to 20 minutes a train would go by blasting its whistle. On several holes the people cutting the grass would go right in front of while you are driving. This golf course is very expensive for what youre getting compared to other golf courses that are cheaper with far better amenities. The golf carts are also very underpowered and not well taken care of. Save your money and Skip Foster Golf Links.

Nice open course. Not too $$$. Easy to get a tee time and play a round.No range...and havent seen a Bev Cart in any of my trips.

Decent course in Fair shape need some maturing from the winter beating but its not too bad dreams are pretty good All Things Considered Great Value because of the price.

Such a bargain. Muni track gets a ton of use but the grounds staff is superb and keeps the course in great shape. Friendly folks in the clubhouse, and the food and beer in the restaurant are fantastic.
