One of my very favorite stores to find unique decor and very beautiful things for your home. Great customer service always smiling and hospitalbe. Im so very upset that theyre closing there doors/ Going out of business. 🥺😭 Theyve been around for such a long time, and it was my one place to find beautiful and unique things from around the world for my home! Now what do we all that love this store do!? 😔😪 Its a very sad, sad year seeing one of my favorite stores go! 😔😩😭😠 I will forever love this store and never forget it.♥ 🥰
Large variety and wide selection. Good place to come look around for diverse home decor. Prices range from reasonable to expensive, so keep an eye on the specific pieces you are looking at. Nice place for seasonal decor as well. I have found some great deals in the clearance section!
They are going out of business. All sales are final. Be prepared to wait outside in line for your turn to go in. The day I went, they still had quite a bit of inventory left. With that being said, you will not experience any deep discounts at this point. The staff was very kind despite knowing their job is going away.
Love this place! But it can be pricey. However everyone wont have your home decor in their house. Thats makes it worth it to me.
Friendly staff and fun store. Some of the pottery dishes I purchased here over the years chip, peal and break easily. Due to little wear and tear even with careful handling. Less than six months old and they have chips and wear and tear signs.Excellent customer service. Some times a little too much but its nice when you want to ask questions.
Pier 1 always have something for everyone! This time of year they have decent sales on Christmas items and the sales associates are always very attentive. The store is always decorated so elegantly for the seasons!
I love pier 1. I wish theyd hurry up and reopen.
My 8 year old daughter and I were shopping at the Southcenter location Dec. 6th. I was looking for a office secret Santa gift and she was looking for an ornament or trinket that had her initial ‘P’ on it. We were not greeted upon entering and wondered around looking for 25 minutes when my daughter asked if she could ask for help. She walked over to the counter were 3 associates were, one working with a customer the two that were talking/working together split to help my daughter. One helped her go through a basket of stuff finally telling my daughter the item didn’t come in ‘P’. During that time the other associate said that she was going to check the computer but she never came back. No other option were given to my daughter. No one asked if I was looking for something. We continued to roam the store until we made our way back to the front door. Just as I was standing their a gentleman entered and was swiftly greeted. Hum I thought they do great.. I said, so that the greeting associate could hear, we didn’t get greeted and no one has asked us for help. She stopped to help me with a pillow. I bought the pillow because it was unique and something that I personally wanted. The secret Santa gift was probably in there somewhere but I found it with help at World Market. If you like their stuff buy online no personal touch in this brick and mortar.
Extremely helpful staff who went the extra mile to be accommodating. Especially appreciated this time of year.
I had my eye on a gorgeous teal lamp. It kept being advertised to me on Facebook so I finally went to order it. “Online only” yet was not available to ship. Apparently there was only 1 available in my state- in Tukwila. On a blustery Sunday evening I drove the 30+ miles to the Tukwila store. I walked around the shop looking at holiday sales and simultaneously searching for the lamp. When my boyfriend and I were unsuccessful we decided to go to the register to pay for items we found and inquire about the supposed lamp in the store. We waited patiently as the woman manning the register was speaking with another patron. (Or so I thought.) The goodbyes made me realize that it wasn’t a customer. When I was finally acknowledged- it wasn’t pleasant. Essentially I explained what lamp we were looking for and showed her on my phone. The woman attempted to pull it on her computer. “It’s doesn’t exist.” (Literally- have it up on the website on my phone) she finds the sku. “Well I guess we have one in the store.” She says. Well yes. That’s why I’m here. “Did you look around the store? (Omg. Yes we did.) she tells me she will go look In back (#1) and goes around the front of the shop and comes back to say she doesn’t see it. I reiterate we checked the store displays and did a few rounds. She says (#2) she will check in back. She walks towards the back, finds the lamp on extra sale because it’s missing parts in Gold and asks if I want that one. “No. I’d really like the teal one.” Fine. Let me check in the back (#3) after less than two minutes in back she comes out and says they do not have it sorry. So I say I’ll order it online for pickup in store and will hopefully just see her tomorrow to pick it up unless my order is cancelled. Sure as poop my order was cancelled first thing in the morning. While waiting for her to ring up my items another store patron approached us and said- “go to Bellevue, their customer service is much better. It’s grossly lacking at this store.” I did eventually get the teal lamp- I called around to pier one imports in other states- and found one in California. The store manager there went out of his way to help me transact over the phone and mailed it to me In Washington. Tukwila store could use some training on Customer Service.
Awesome experience! Found just what I was looking for. Sales associates were super helpful.
I stopped in here to just get a packet of kleenex before my big trip at the airport. The store was very well taken care off and the staff was well trained. Very clean store and the bathrooms were clean as well.
A cute store to visit and its easy to find something to buy.
So many unique items and smart furniture. This store should be high on your list to visit when decorating your home
They are a bit on the expensive side but you can definitely find some things on sale and on clearance. Not saying that its exactly what youre looking for, the sale and clearance items but its worse the browse. I found some similar items in the local Ross store, so before I would want to make a purchase at Pier One I would probably check my local Ross store first to see if they have the same items at about 50 to 75% cheaper. I got a $1,000 gift card from my boyfriends and I believe we came out after spending about $750 and we had a large vase and several large paintings as well as wall decor. Again, I found things very similar at my local Ross stores. My most recent visit was last week for the Christmas holiday and I was able to find candles if you throw blankets some diffusers and wall plug ins I believe I spent around $150 and most of the stuff was in there clearance section. So again, let me remind you they are on the expensive side. I have found some of the wall plug-in fragrances at Bed Bath & Beyond for cheaper. If I were you and you like to save a dollar or two I would visit my local Ross store before Pier One
Went there to get some items for my sister-in-law for her birthday. I like the items and I like the people at the store a lot the only reason I gave it three stars instead of more is because I really dont care for corporate. Lets just say that theyre A*holes okay?!
Too bad they are going out of business....maybe why the staff was a bit brusque.
I nice place to shop, for home decoration and more
Good service and found some nice chairs!
Marie was extremely helpful when ringing me up
Beautiful things, def not in my price range, sigh.
Theres nothing in corridors. Everything is on open layout so it is fun to browse! The people are very people people.
Had what I wanted
It was great. Found more than i needed and the staff was great.
Sorry to see this store go.
So sad to see you go
Amazing customer service!! Went out of the way to help me pick out my window treatments.
Great experience! Like the new look!
Beautiful merchandise.
I love the sales & ideas!
Not enough cashiers to help the long line of holiday shopper
Had pre-purchased a clearence item in stock at this location, when we came into pick up we had the most unpleasent experience with the floor manager. The manager was unhelpful, and very rude. As if we wasted her time to have her assist us.First of all, the product we purchased which was SOLD to us wasnt anywhere to be found. First irriation to the manager is she had to go look for it. God forbid she even help us as customers.Second of all, it was a floor model and we wanted to look it over. Just because its on clearence doesnt mean we should be sold severely damanged items. The item was severely damanged on the surface and missing pegs for shelf which made it unsuable. We tried to swap it out for another item, but the manager acted as if she had to follow us around the store.DISLIKE!! Ive visited many Pier1 locations in the Seattle/Tacoma area and this one takes the cake for the most rudest working women!!
Store is closing deals are okay
Got what i needed. House furnished.
Christmas clearance items should be more than 10-15% off.
Pretty good for household items and gifts.
This location had a sale going on....waaaay beyond my meager price range.
My wife says... It is what it is!
Great service.
#love
