Cant say enough about the service and staff. Super helpful..considering I had no idea what I was doing and they walked me through every step. And they bent over backwards to accomodate me and my Groomsmen. Thank you again for a great experience.

I have had nothing but great experiences with A Formal Affair. I wanted specific colors for my bridesmaids and maids of honor for my wedding and they were so helpful from the start of trying on the dresses till the end when it came time to pick up. They have a wonderful variety of wedding dresses, bridesmaids dresses, And other formal attire. This is truly like a one stop shop-- you can purchase your wedding dress, bridesmaids, groom/groomsmen attire and have alterations done as well. My bridesmaids and maids of honor all looked beautiful and my vision for my color palette/theme really came to life. The family and shop workers are all super professional and nice, I can guarantee you will not find a better bridal/formal attire business in or around Tulare.

Awesome wedding/formal place! They are professional, quick, kind experts. My only regret is that I didnt find them sooner.

I want to thank A Former Affair for an amazing experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I went in not knowing what I wanted and other shops never really took the time to help me with this. I came out knowing exactly what I wanted. A formal affair immediately made me feel at home. The prices were so reasonable and they had everything we needed from Wedding dress to Tuxes.A great small business with knowledgeable people.I called numerous times being the jittery bride I was and they welcomed and answered every call and question I had. Never making one question seem silly.If you want a hometown friendly experience this is the place. Loved all the laughter and joking also..didnt make it seem stuffy. I could rate them 10 stars if I could. Weve been looked for a wedding dress for weeks small trip to tulare landed us here the older man was so kind and gave us a great deal on the dress we liked. Originally 1050. Took it for 450. Small businesses like this should get more business!!!

Went there last minute for my daughters prom dress. The staff was super nice helped us find a dress at a great price. Alterations were fast and perfect. I will be taking my girls there from now on for all of there formal dresses.

Great experience! I have used this shop many times and have never left unhappy with my purchases or the customer service. We have needed significant alterations at least three times and the dresses have all fit like they were made for my daughters. Our most recent experience was for Prom, my daughter and her date both used A Formal Affair, we were told by numerous people how stunning they looked together. We will definitely use them again.

I went in there to see about renting tuxedos and the employee told me to wait...so i waited for about 10 minutes and then she was snarky about the price and they didnt come with shoes....i found The Mens Warehouse to have a better price and they came with shoes and the employees were very attentive and nice so we rented them there.

These people do NOT communicate each other, what so ever. I was told that we would be contacted when our dresses came in - that never happened, so I called and dresses were in 2 weeks ago. I was also told by 3 different employees that when my dress came in theyd ship it to me (for extra cost which I expected, no big deal), then I was told by a fourth employee that she didnt know who told me that because they dont have a way to ship them. ALSO, us bridesmaids ordered our dresses at different times.... they literally waited for every dress to show up before telling anyone that their dress was there. So basically the other bridesmaids couldnt even get their dresses in hand to alter before the event. This place is a joke.

Poor service. They can’t figure out if a dress or suit is paid off, they don’t keep track of anything & never follow up when they say they will. Very unprofessional, the man who is working there will talk about other customers when customers are still in the shop. Extremely unsatisfied, customer service just isn’t what it used to be.
