They had exactly what I needed but were crazy busy! If you have 15 items or less, you can checkout in electronics which goes much quicker and rarely has a line. For non mask wearers, they do prefer you wear a mask and are handing them out at the door of you dont have one. They arent mandatory, just preferred.

Went in search of scrubs for my friend who just got a job. Found some she liked. Store is super nice modern updated. Looks really nice. Good improvement Visalia has needed this for a long time. IM gonna love shopping here again. Thanks Walmart.

No fewer than a dozen associates walked past me while standing at the sporting goods counter. Only ONE even acknowledged me, asking if I had been helped, to which I replied no. She then walked off, never to be seen again.I finally walked up to the cosmetic department where I was able to find something that would serve my purpose.The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because the young lady in cosmetics was very friendly and helpful as well as the cashier.

Porterville Walmart is in desperate need of a good manager. Very few of the associates act like they have had any training at all, especially customer service.

Been going there for years and has nice staff.

I made at Walmart for a small fan and water filter that morning. I quickly found what I wanted and left. The store wasnt very busy yet so every thing went well.

I’ve been going to Walmart and it has for-sure been one of the best supermarkets I’ve gone to! There’s this employer working there, I think his name is Cristian. He is by far the best helper there is!! He’s always there for you and no matter what he always helps with your needs. He forsure deserves a raise!! I love this store and I appreciate Cristian for the help!!

Good walmart as any other location. They dont have a meat department or vegetable section. Other then that, they have everything like other Walmarts.

Love Walmart Tulare California for prices and products. But customer service sucks-Im talking to you Jaime in Garden. You open a register, wait until I get there with 1 item and say Ill take next in line with their full cart who saw me walk to your line. RUDE!!!

Walmart is Walmart, their customer service sucks. With the push for self checkout there are even less employees. I like the auto center, very decent prices.

Tulare Walmart is organized in the clothes section. The only thing I wish it would improve is expanding their fresh produce. Not many options there. The garden could use some pest control as I saw a large rat crawling under the pallets, it scared my children. Overall the employees there are friendly and helpful.

They keep this store way too hot. They close the garden center way too early. Why are they even in business you ask. It is not for their customers benefit any longer. GREED. Plain and simple. I suggest you go back to your original point of view to bring bargains to families.

A good Walmart overall. Missing some of the things that I was looking for, but thats not too surprising with the supply chain and inflation issues that were seeing recently.

Cashiers need better training, cashier needed to do a refund and the managers just walked by without helping. One cashier had to call CSM about my ID cus he had never seen this ID. A lot of the cashiers have attitude problems.

From the Hanford to Visalia Wal-Marts, I always get lucky with this store when I am looking for what I need. They’re clearance is good too. It’s also surrounded by a lot of well known restaurants and next door to Ross and the Outlets. Overall, it’s the one I prefer to go too every now and then.

Its not as packed as porterville Walmart. Plenty of room to go shopping and not worrying about bumping into people.

I like coming to this walmart when I lived here it always had what I needed, the store isnt messy and its well stocked, it sucks that they removed the McDonalds from here because it was my favorite to stop and grab a bite when shopping so conveniently located inside the store but overall I like that this walmart is still the same layout so easy to find just what Im looking for

When looking up an item, its never in the store and have to order online! It would be nice to actually go to store and buy item!

Don’t bother for grocery shopping, go next door to FoodsCo. A Dollar General has more selection than here. Other than that issue, it’s a normal Walmart that’s very clean and organized.

The automotive service at this store is the worst of worst!I went in to have some tires installed on my vehicle. It took them approximately 6 hours to complete the job. Yes, six hours!They also chipped one of my custom wheels and scratched my driver side door.They’re very unprofessional!They only seem interested on being on their cell phones and doing very little work.I will NEVER go to them again!

One of the cleanest WalMart Ive been in a while. Aisles were mostly clear and was easy to get thru the store and find what I needed. Staff was also helpful in answering questions and check out was quick.

The pharmacy will not answer the phone, I guess customer service is just for show here.

Clean, wide aisles, friendly, fast service from a real person. Didnt have to use self checkout!! Not anything like the Wal-Mart in Porterville. Even their bathrooms on a Saturday afternoon were decently clean.

I had a return with a receipt the line was real long with only one customer service rep so that was time consuming and stressful, after that i had to go to automotive department and the service was helpful and easy so that was nice.

Great shopping experience here. Well stocked & good selection. The only thing I was looking for that has an extremely small selection is soy sauce. Lots of teriyaki sauce though. Only other thing that was difficult to see was the knives. Understand why but inconvenient if that is what youre shopping for. Regardless, great location!

So it says self check out is only 10 items. Not fair when the lines are long. And self check out is available. But because i had more than 10 they didnt let me. Most of my items were sandwich bread, juices, and notebook journals. Thanks walmart. Plus my son was paying for his toy items separate. She still said no. Not nice at all.

Waited an hour in line for a money order, was told to go to a different desk because their machine wasnt working. Got to that counter and was told go away we are closed. Waste of time thanks to a lack of service.

This store is crowded, almost all of the time. The shelves are messy, store doesnt have a good grocery selection. I left as quickly as I could and went to Target. The difference was night and day.

We got a load of clothes for a birthday that didnt fit when we tried to exchange them for a proper size at the Tulare California Walmart they said at the customer service that they were not going to do anything without the receipt. How the hell do you expect me to get a receipt when it was a gift?! I am contacting Walmart corporate via Twitter social media and through their direct office line.
