Garage Epoxy Floor is coming apart and Tulsa Garage Gurus will not honor their guarantee. Original epoxy floor installed on 6/16/2016. After just 2 years, the clear coat was severely yellowing due to inferior clear coat (due to UV damage). Contacted Tulsa Garage Gurus on 7/26/2018. After several days of requesting representative come by and look at the floor, the owner finally stopped by (on 8/7/2018). Owner agreed that the clear coat had failed and they would replace floor with new. After a month and on 9/6/2018 I asked again to have a scheduled date and was told they were 3 weeks out. On 9/26/2018, I contacted the owner again and was told that the flake had been ordered and that he was on a job and about 2 weeks out. On 10/11/2018, I asked again to get my floor replacement scheduled and was told that he was on 3 big jobs that had slowed them down. On 10/19/2019, I asked again for a scheduled date and landed on 11/6/2018. On 11/6/2018, was told that he would not be showing up because the Tulsa Police Department had caught a murder suspect in his shop and had him (Tulsa Garage Gurus owner)at his office from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. On 11/7/2018, received phone call from owner saying that the new floor flake didnt come in and had to once again reschedule. At this time, I had the entire contents of my garage relocated to my outdoor shed and the inside of my house. Agreed to go with a different floor type (different shade of flake) as an alternative approach. It looked great from the pictures provided and it was something that the owner had in stock. Floor was officially started on 11/7/2018. On 11/9/2018, clear coat was applied but could still see yellowing of the old floor beneath it (they forgot to apply a dark gray base coat before they applied the new flake). At this time, nothing could be done until new flake was ordered and delivered. During this timeframe, I agreed with the owner to go another route, a different floor style (liquid metal). It looked great and he had some in stock. On 11/22/2018, new floor was installed but still needed to lay clear coat. On 11/23/2018 asked owner about plan for clear coat but got no response until 11/26/2018 and agreed to lay clear coat on next day. 11/27/2018 came and owner said they couldnt locate buffer and would have to be next day. On 11/28/2018, clear coat laid onto floor. On December 1, 2018 was able to move contents back into garage. Owner still needed to come back and clean up several drips and runs that occurred at the entrance of garage. Owner never showed up to do complete. Approximately 6 months later on May 24, 2019 floor starting coming off of storm shelter and was also easily gouged from the weight of my 1/2 ton truck on a jack stand. Contacted owner right away and was told he would come by the following week. On 5/31/2019, owner told me OKC job was running longer than expected and would come by the following Tuesday. On August 4, 2019, contacted owner once again (he never came by or followed up) and was told that LJ would come by. On August 8, 2019 I contacted owner again and was told he would personally come out that next Sunday. Since August 8,2019, NO ONE from Tulsa Garage Gurus has contacted me or worked to correct the issues with my floor.
