Great donut place, with a lot of different kind of donuts. If you like breakfast cereals on top of them or chocolate mints or different candy bars its great, and they tasted fabulous. I loved the maple bacon log and the apple pie donut and the jalapeno donut holes even more. I would definitely go back and you need to go if youve never been. Great stop in Tulsa.
I cannot speak for the daytime shifts or staff, but the late night crew is always the right mix of sarcastic and fun. The donuts are, as one might expect, varied and delicious, and the ones that came out for Halloween were particularly good.I would absolutely recommend visiting if youre in the area, particularly _before_ spending too much time in the surrounding bars and clubs, because one should take the time to enjoy these treats on their own.
My favorite donuts so far are the homer, the cookies and cream, and then the dirt worm? I believe that’s what it is called? It’s literally got what looks to be like dirt but it’s not it’s actually crushed up cookie and a gummy earthworm on top of it. It’s scrumptious. And those three magical donuts were $7 which is totally fair pricing considering the work they put into making them and all the toppings. I approve.
The donuts are great, but the place is filthy- the floors, sticky tables, and especially the bathrooms. It’s not just a “busy day and didn’t have time to clean”. It’s more like a “hasn’t been cleaned well in weeks”. With that said, we still enjoyed our donuts, but when the business doesn’t enforce high standards of cleanliness, it definitely makes you wonder what we can’t see. We’ll be back to grab a donut occasionally, but we were blown away by how dirty the place was. (Pics attached).
Fancy donuts with a fancy price tag to go with it. They had what I needed for a last minute event, when noone else did. I took away a star, only because I couldnt get a paper receipt, which I needed for accounting purposes.
Hurts Donuts really are good Donuts they have so many different flavors to choose from and I had the donut with the screw so with the Cherry filling in the middle so when I am going downtown I go to hurts Donuts
Just an okay donut shop. Icing a little thick and dry. I was really looking forward to an apple fritter, but no dice. Fresh is the key, otherwise they are dense. Donut holes were good.
All looks no substance. Whoever decided it’d be a good idea to throw donuts in a sack together wasn’t thinking, everything was a hot mess because of it and they didn’t taste fresh at all. Tasted like day old donuts bought at a gas station. The person helping us seemed tired, too, like she didn’t really want to be there. I don’t blame her, but yeah.
Donuts are fantastic!!! I’ve had some “eh” ones, but tonight’s were FANTASTIC!! I usually order the Frosted Animal Cookie one, but they didn’t have any tonight ☹️ I opted for the ET & traditional sprinkle one & the ET one was SO good!! The selection wasn’t stellar (Saturday, after a thunderstorm, at 10 PM), but my husband & I managed to pick out 2 each & our total was $10.01. VERY worth it!! Price is VERY reasonable!!!
Stopped by here for a snack and the donuts were so cool looking! The guy working the counter was so nice and helped us pick out donuts and chatted with us out Tulsa. Such a cool place vibe and great staff. The donuts were delicious as well! I highly recommend this place, must try!
These donuts were the best. Better then the famous chains weve all heard of. The best Ive tested.
They need to have employees come in from the OKC store and teach them how to clean and have plenty of donuts on hand. The OKC location has fresh donuts, of all kind, even late at night. Very disappointed in the Tulsa location. Absolutely no selection on the donuts and the ones that were in the case, looked dry. Guy ringing people up used the same glove to get the donuts as he was handling the money. September 3, 2021 @ 6:30 pm.
Hurts Donuts is good, but way too rich. The lower rating has nothing to do with the quality during normal donut shop hours. Ive been here about 5 times, they never close & I like that. However, if you go from about 3pm-6am, you get relatively poor service, have a much smaller selection, stale donuts, & coffee orders that are only ½ full & ½ of that is nothing but foam. When I asked for the coffee to be completely full, they offered me hot water or I could pay for another coffee, as if Id received the full size coffee Id paid for & just wanted a free refill. Myself & the friend with me were the only customers in there. This has happened the last 2 times Ive been & it was late in the day. Between donuts & coffee, I spent around $25 the past 2 visits & neither visit was worth half of that due to all of the above. If these aspects of patronization of any establishment matters to you, then I highly recommend you only consider it between 6am & 3pm.
Not a fan. Weird stuff on top of hard donuts. No thanks. Give me a warm KrispyKreme please. It is definitely popular for late night after bars close food though.
Our Sunday early morning treat sucked. First and last visit. The young lady behind the counter had a ‘just get your donuts and leave attitude.’ Most of the donuts were at least 1 day old, tough, and dry, but 4 out 12 were OK. Not going back. Not nearly enough bang for my buck.
Love the variety! Great atmosphere. My kids always ask to go back.
Was way better when they first opened up a few years ago. Now its just mediocre at best.
This was quite the experience! I love the choices - you pick versus we pick - and the $3 up charge for the you pick. 😀There was so much variety it was overwhelming so we just tried a bunch of different items. I think in the end I’m probably more of a plain glazed donut guy but this was a fun culinary adventure for sure. It’s a lot of fun to have a window to see them making the donuts and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I especially appreciate them answering 20 questions on the 12 donuts we finally selected. I think the $3 up charge should be raised. 😂
I really enjoyed my blueberry donut. My wifes was a Oreo white, and it was super super super super sweet. So a little bit over-the-top, but I think thats kind of the point of this place. Overall, the donuts are good. On the reason I gave it at 4 instead of a 5 is because the bar area that we sat ar was very Sticky and covered in other peoples donut sugar stuck to it. Seemed it needed a really good cleaning. Overall though, very good and I would try the ginormous Apple fritter next time.
Open 24 HOURS! 😍😍😍 Coffee specialty drinks are also available. Always a favorite! I will be back.
Tulsa location. I picked up a dozen variety last week and they were so good we came back this week for another dozen. But we were disappointed by them. They weren’t as good/ fresh as last week. I don’t know why. They just seemed dryer. Not sure what caused the difference. Both visits were in the evening the first on a Monday the second on a Friday I would have rated a 5 star for Monday’s visit. But only a 2 for Friday
Growing up I had been told the stupid joke: Hey, want a Hurts Donut? Me, (expecting a real donut): yeah! Them, (punches me on the arm): hurts, dont it?This is why I hate everyone. But I digress. I was recommended to eat here. There are so many donuts to choose from!! I was glad they had kolaches because I needed something savory. I was expecting the prices to cost a fortune but they were pretty affordable.Look how huge that cinnamon roll is (see the fork for scale). Only 5 bucks, too!I even met a gentleman who was doing a cross country biking trip and stopping for breakfast. Thats something I would have done when I did my own cross country biking trip 11 years ago.
Really great selection of specialty donuts. I had a plain cake and a Gluten free Reeses. Im not sure about the Gluten free part but the donuts were amazing. The others in my group finished out the dozen. One of them was a Friday the 13th donut made to look like a Jason hockey mask. Fruity Pebbles and other sprinkled donuts were great.
Today we came in for some donuts and coffee, we got our donuts sat down. My husband finished his donut ...we were still waiting for the coffee. Several customers later still no coffee others got their coffee before us. We had to remind them....took over 15 minutesThere were 3 workers one looked like she was in a pajama top with sweat pants.
Decadent over the top donut creations. The bacon maple long john is so good
First and definitely not my last trip! Many different kinds of donut selections. They vary in in size but are more filling than most donut shops. Prices are from $2.50-$3.50 depending on the donut. Theyre also open 24 hours so its a nice place to come for a midnight snack or if you have friends/family in town. The environment is also very inviting and spacious.
Its really good I just like my donuts to last a little longer in terms of freshness. Still a solid experience though.
Usually a pleasant experience, but this time the girls attitude was pretty bad. Like take your donuts and leave. The donuts also tasted a day or more old. Dunkin is way better.
While the donuts were the draw to bring us here, the latte was one of the best Ive ever had!
Best donuts Ive ever had. Id recommend the Cotton Candy donut which is a pink frosted donut with a big chunk of cotton candy on top. Alternatively, the german chocolate which is a chocolate frosted cake donut with a dollop of coconut caramel frosting.
Was there at 3 in the afternoon and most of the really good selection of donuts were gone. They said they would be restocked later in the day, but they are open 24hrs day, so was hoping for my favorite. Maybe next time.
They were really nice and respectful. The donuts were all unique and very cute. So delicious. Definitely coming back
Cant go wrong if you want an amazing way to sugar up
So much better than you believe! Wonderful humans staffing the place--fun, eclectic decor--and delicious morning fare. I am not a huge donut fan but Hurts was the absolute best! As crazy as it sounds, the flavors are actually balanced, and I did not feel like someone had dumped a cup of sugar in my mouth. We will be back next time we are in Tulsa💜
AWESOME customer service!! Ordered Hurts A Little (1/2 doz) to be delivered to my husband (Door Dash) at his hotel for an early morning surprise. Added a note that it was his birthday and please include what they would feel are popular flavors guys like.GREAT selection and FANTASTIC added surprise of a donut with birthday candles. THANKS HURTS.... he LOVED the donuts and the special surprise.
When I was there on a Wednesday afternoon, their selection was not great. And there were no signs on the donuts stating what they are.
Hospitable staff. They go hard 25/8
Friends ordered Donuts to be delivered by a creepy clown for my birthday. It was awesome, and clowns really creep me out. The Donuts were awesome.
Selection wasnt good this morning and the sausage rolls were cold but the service was awesome and with the rush they had still 5star
It was my first time in Tulsa and I wound up at Hurts. Its the only place open late... in fact its open 24 hours! Loved the apple fritter. Its the best Ive had, but its massive. The only place Ive ever been thats comparable is Voodoo Donuts out on the West Coast.Ill definitely be back when Im in town again to see my best bud.
This place is amazing! The maple bacon donut is to die for!!! Talk about melt in your mouth and it is a meal in itself! Located right downtown Tulsa, but easy to get to, you can find any kind of donut here your little heart desires. They also have t-shirts and souvenirs available and a wide variety of drinks, oh and theyre open 24 hours! A cant miss if youre visiting Tulsa.
My 1st Hurts donut - delicious!!! The perfect amount of cinnamon and sugar!!
This is my favorite donut place to stop and eat at when Im in Tulsa! The place is always so clean the staff is nice and the inside is pretty cool just as well as the outside. The donuts are ALWAYS good and have so many yummy flavors. They were nice enough to let us inside with all of this COVID-19 stuff going around.
I had a difficult time choosing between 3 stars and 4 stars. Here’s the thing: the actual donuts (the base) are not very good. They’re not gross, they’re just a little dry and plain. If you walk into nearly any other basic donut shop in town, you’ll get a better basic donut for a lower price. This is a donut shop, so the rating should reflect the donut quality. However, I bumped them to 4 stars because everything else is so good. The toppings are incredibly tasty and creative. The service is great — warm, knowledgeable, & friendly staff. The shop had a hip environment and it’s smack dab in the action of downtown Tulsa. Also, they’re always open.Go there for the experience and the fun, tasty toppings.
Got HAPPY BDAY donuts for my 3 yo GRANDson 💙He loves them so win for Granny
The doughnuts are awesome! Prices are kind of high, and the selection has been some what sparse every time I stop by.
LONG PIECE OF HAIR baked into the cinnamon roll I discovered this morning as I chewed three bites deep. Absolutely unacceptable! What happened to hair nets!? 🤢🤮
Love the giant unicorn donut we get for our daughters birthday. This is the second year in a row that we have done it and its always great tasting and they always do a great job. I think we are breaking tradition and sticking with the giant donuts for the birthdays to come. And your cinnamon roll is awesome along with the huge variety of specialty donuts made fresh every day. I also love my hurts donuts t-shirts and Artic cups in several colors. Ill always recommend coming here.
Didnt really plan on going to this place late in the evening but I went after dinner just cuz I saw the store as I was leaving downtown Tulsa. Love the variety of different Donuts. Glad to see the option of milk because the donuts are so sweet and yummy. The donuts are so large an swet that its really hard to eat all of the doughnut.
Decided to stop there this morning around 8:45 and get a few dozen donuts for my customers. They didn’t have any glazed donuts so I asked the manager if they could substitute another type of glazed donut for the same price. He gave a flat “ no” so I left with an overpriced water, apple juice, and sausage roll that was ok, not anything special. The lady at the counter was very helpful and cheerful. She gets the Gold star.
Love the fact that this place is open 24 hours and is always on point with the quality of their donuts
Long bicycle ride was worth it 🙂 had a maple & bacon long John & was really good. Thanks for being so friendly & great conversation!
Wanna Hurts Donut? Yes. . Hurts, dont it? .Didnt we all think it would be funny to have a donut place with this name? Now someones gone and done it! Long wait for some KEWL donuts... Id wait in line again.
Giving Krispy Kreme a run for their money
The best place to get donuts! I suggest trying the donut shake.
