We all want to shop at grocery store where the staff show they care.Hand washing, masks, hair nets are all important.

James (epic beard and hair) loaded up my pickup order and was so friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient in the process I felt compelled to leave a review. This guy was that good. Less than 2 minutes from parking to leaving.

Anyone in management wanna explain why at 5:45pm the pick up service is still helping customers from 4:00pm? We had a pick up order for five and still were not helped by 5:45? We actually had to cancel our order and just go to Safeway across the street. I’m extremely disappointed Fred Meyer.

Better pricing than safeway almost Walmart prices, seafood and deli great ground beef and meats are ok .

Nice and well taken care of Fred Meyer, can’t go wrong with Freddy’s. Loved the bath bomb scents on display at the front of the cosmetics section and they had wonderful deals as always, especially with the club card. Lots of sales on plant & veggie bulbs for the spring, travel size products, holiday candy, and variety in the clearance aisle. Sections and displays were well organized and the store was very clean and not crowded. Great access to the freeway and was able to fill up on gas for a decent price on our way out.

Decent store to shop at for good, but very crowed at all times. They need to work on the Homeless issues in this location!

My go to for groceries, always nice and helpful staff although a little slow at times, but they have things to do. I use the pharmacy there as well and other than occasionally, for what seems like to reason, having to wait for the pharmacist to come over and ask personally if I have any questions on medications I get every month.

I had uneventful, neutral experiences at this store pre-pandemic. During the pandemic, Ive tried the curbside pickup several times, and every single time, even at off times, ALL of their pickup slots are full, and theyre not quick once you get into a spot either (also not particularly friendly). I dont bother with this store anymore & go to the Lacey one instead, much quicker & friendlier with more products available too.

Prices are good. Store is clean and has great selections. Problem is, I leave here with torn overstuffed bags, raw meat bagged with produce, frozen with boxed, etc. I have to rebag my groceries at my car every time for the drive home so I dont end up with damaged food or bags failing from too much weight. Its a shame employees arent trained in appropriate bagging practices and a shame that Kroger thinks this is ok.

If you’re not white they watch you very close and send security checks over the intercom and think they are slick by doing so....they also watch you very close at self check out....but then again it’s tumwater seeing a minority is like seeing big foot to these white folks

I never had a positive experience with this store, but yesterday they outdid themselves! unprofessional, slow workers, including a manager who doesnt know how to talk to clients! Rough! they easily discriminate people if they hear an accent!

I love a certain brand of yogurt that is not the most popular .I was able to order 4 cases without to many problems.TY grocery depart! Now, Ill have enough yogurt to coat my stomach when I take nasty medications.And shout to instacart for picking them up!!!

Love fred myers for all the things they carry in store, love the super salad in deli, like how they redid the store, still have to ask where things are. Really appreciate all the nondairy items would love if they make it 0 fat plain dairy free yogurt. My only complaint of the store is that they dont keep the womens bathrooms clean. They have been awful. Dirty toilets, often no seat covers or toilet paper, I left today because I didnt feel safe to go there. Mrs scott

I had a 1:30 appointment to get vaccine. I was still sitting, waiting 28 minutes later. They helped 30 people while I sat there. It was ridiculous. I had to leave and not get the vaccine.

Freddys has great produce and not to mention the 2.99 chocolate chip cookies!

This is my favorite grocery store to shop at. Everyone who works here is friendly and helpful and the store is clean, well stocked and has a warm atmosphere (unlike many other large grocery stores that feel like a cold warehouse). Best of all, their prices are reasonable and significantly lower than other stores in the area.

One of my favorites, but as far as grocery store chains this is by far the most expensive. Great selection on furniture however. And I love this store. If you cant find it here you wont find it.

I went to Fred Meyer in Tumwater . Did my shopping and was standing in line to pay for my groceries, when a worker her name was Bobbijo said she would ring me up . She did not have to do this she took me to the self checkout area and I have never seen a better sweeter young girl wanting to help a customer. She rang me and did a great job, so thanks Bobbijo .

Excellent store to visit, produce is always fresh, staff very helpful and friendly. From clothes to groceries they have a great selection ranging from clothes and shoes to frozen food and always fresh produce. This Fred Meyer is well stocked and always very clean.

Reasonable store. No tap to pay support here though, which is surprisingly behind the times.

Way better than wallmart.

I know I’m probably nit picking but when I spend over $200 in groceries in your store and want $20 cash back there should not be a cash back fee. Now I understand the fee is small but it’s the principle of it all. Spending $200 in your store should be worth something. These days we are being picked at for fees for this and that and I’m just tired of being picked at.

Honestly the grocery store part is fine, but the employees here are just the worst. I’ve been called a liar, I’ve been accused of shop lifting. I come here nearly every day since it’s the closest grocery store to me but I wish I didn’t have to. If you have a choice, go anywhere else.

Used to be my favorite place in tumwater. Their guaranteed fresh bakery is not guaranteed anymore, I guess. Super sweet cashier helped me and stated that she had succumbed to their old and hard food too. Thats too bad..

Fantastic selection from hot food, produce, cloths for all ages and sooo much more! They even have outdoor rainy weather gear that our family has had a hard time finding elsewhere.Rita in the deli is exceptionally amazing when it comes to customer service! She made our whole trip into an excellent experience- thank you Rita!

Great one stop shop most of the time. Good selection of healthy foods. Large selection of wines and beer and locally sourced goods. Decent selection of clothing. Because they are always busy it would be nice to have wider aisles or horns on shopping carts.🎉

Always good service and they have what I need

I will focus on this location since you probably already know Fred Meyers as a company. The staff at this location is usually friendly. It does goes get pretty busy but check outs are typically quick. They recently remodeled and it improved the feel and appearance. The deli is well stocked. The cheese monger has a reasonable selection and usually able to give advice or a taste.

I love Freddies. Its everything everyone else isnt. They are always friendly, the prices are fair, quality is good, and the place is always clean. Its also easy to get in and out quickly, which is especially important if you only need a thing or two. Keep up the good work!

Great place to shop. Always having nice specials. My bill is always cheaper than that place, and better food. Friendly workers and almost never a line, even when busy.

Its big, but if I cant find something on my own, Ive always found one of their employees helpful. Anymore, I dont spend much time looking on my own.Bulk foods section isnt overwhelming, but adequate. It includes bulk spices, which can save a bundle vs. prepackaged spices.Produce department is impressive.I like that the parking lot has a few pedestrian-only walks which is a thoughtful measure that makes that part of my visit safer.

Its a great store. Stuff isnt too easy to find Id like if they would have more people on the floor to help you find items. All in all its better than Walmart and thats all that really matters and for that it gets a 5 star rating. The parking lot is tough but thats what you should expect from a store that brings in lots of loyal customers.

The prices were outrageous for clothing even on 50-75% off racks, no hand sanitizer or wipes for carts and very little staff to help you.

Love shopping here. They have lots of organics and other specialty items, including Boars Head luncheon meat. Only one drawback for me....parking lot is too small. Very few times have i come here, and the lot wasnt packed, and you can hardly find a spot. Nice managers working here, and employees are always ready to help.

Fred Meyers in Tumwater is my go to store from pharmacy to furnace filters.Clothing, shoes, children toys. Nice selection of plants and more.Fresh vegetable, fruits, nice clean deli and yummy choices. Meat counter too, get the cut and size of meat you came in for.Earn points with Fred Meyer card. You can use points like cash towards gas and purchasesParking is plentiful most times, as large lot with handicap. Help is available for assistance, getting groceries into your vehicle. Handicapped carts and restrooms too.

I used to love this store but with the new renovations I cant find anything, sad they did away with a nutritional section in one spot and integrated it with the rest of the store! Today the store was packed with employees and not one asked if I needed help finding anything (I finally asked and she was as frustrated as I was) cashier was rushed and impersonal but Ill give it a pass since its the holidays. I left with very little and will go elsewhere for my shopping.

Great service and prices. Very convenient and very professional management. My favorite place to shop. Then also I get fuel points, which ends up many times way cheaper than even Costco.

Always have a good time at Freddys. Free guacamole samples. Good prices and all the things we needed in one spot. Pro tip... if the lines are long you can check out over by Starbucks, in the clothing department.

Jacob the cashier at the self checkout has the worst customer service ever! He was very unhelpful and so rude! I have never been treated so horribly at a store. I honestly will have to take my business else where! I have always loved shopping at Fred Meyer, usually one bad person can’t make me stop shopping there, but he really is that bad! I’m sure y’all have lost a lot of customers from that horrific man!!

Enjoy shopping at this location. The store is usually clean and well stocked. I love using their self check out service, I can usually get in and out of the store quickly and dont have to much trouble finding products. They have a great sale on their milk usually as well!

Amazing selection of groceries and really good deals at clothing section as well. Make sure to get reward card, it works on all store purchases and also gas ( they have gas stations ).

Hands down the best grocery store in Shelton. Great prices, great selection, great mailers/coupons! Kroger is one of the worst employers in the US tho. Do NOT go to work for them if you have ANY other options!

The food comes at a great price & the quality is good. Kids get a free banana or cutie orange when they visit. Even a cookie too. The 1 hour childs play while you shop is genius. They have great sales on food items and clothes alike. I love it.

It is a large store, hard to find things but has two sections of self check out.

We were looking for some cans food and this place has it! Fred Meyer offers variety of choice from make up to fresh vegetable name it they got itWhen Wallmart dont carry them Fred Meyer got it

Great friendly service. Fresh fruit for babies to snack on. Top pot doughnuts in the bakery. Seasonal clearance sales on clothing. Their app that you can apply additional digital coupons to your shopping card. Their natural foods/bulk selection is decent size. They have lots of aisles with people who seem happy to help you to buy your things. Parking is nuts but other than that this is a nice, clean, friendly Fred Meyer. If they could figure out how to do combo-locos like the HEB stores in South Texas it would create the ultimate grocery shopping experience.

Clean, spacious, decent prices, nice staff and lots of parking. They have the absolute best pharmacy in town. The line moves fast, and the pharmacy techs are always so nice and helpful.

I love that they sell gizzards in the deli! You have to ask though, but the guy working today (I wish I took his) was super helpful and friendly, most deli workers I encounter usually has an is it time to go home yet? attitude.

Good store with great staff. I only wish they would stock holiday items a little longer as the Halloween costumes and accessories were paired down to little more than a shelf by the day before Halloween. Overall, a fantastic place to get all of your shopping done.

Fred Meyer in my experience has the best prices. The staff are always helpful, and the store is clean. They dont have quite the variety of other stores, but they do have everything I usually want. There beer selection is the best of the grocery stores around.The only real downside is that they are often very busy. It can be vary hard to find parking at times, and the lines at check out can take twenty minutes to get through. I would definitely recommend going at off peak times.

No longer using as my main store after many years. Produce spoils within a day. Tried getting help through online customer service and was told they had no record of my purchase although I have receipt in hand. Spent about $1000 for holidays there this past season. No more. My goal is less than $100 per month when I dont have other options.

Really nice staff and good selection, but I felt very uncomfortable shopping here. The security cop lady kept following me around down the aisles when I was just getting a few items for dinner. A kind employee apologized to me on the stores behalf when he noticed her doing this, but I really cant see myself coming back here if random people like me are treated like this.

This is our regular supermarket. Everything seems reasonably priced with the exception of their meats. Im not sure whats going on here, but Id rather pay Costco prices than Fred Meyer prices for beef.We love their food court, because you can get pretty good sandwiches, side-dishes, chicken, and sushi. Their eating area is a nice bonus.One thing I did notice is that their aisles are narrow. You can only comfortably fit two carts side-by-side. It kind of felt like I was shopping at a Trader Joes.To me this is a more upscale Super Walmart.

We shop here all the time because the staff are friendly and checkouts are fast. Today my two year old was upset while trying to grab a few last minute things and the nice man stocking the soda asked if he could get her a balloon to cheer her up and asked her what color she likes. A few minutes later he came back with a pink balloon for her and it even had a weight so it wouldnt float away! It made her day and I was able to finish shopping. Ty Alexander for going out of your way to give my girl a smile!

One of the newer stores and I think the largest, it seems larger than others. Friendly staff always willing to help make your shopping experience an easy and stress free one. Store looks clean and spacious.

This Freddys is my neighborhood store. Always clean, well-stocked, and fairly priced. The majority of the staff here are super friendly and helpful. This would be a 5-star review except for the bakery.I have twice gotten gourmet items here and twice gotten bad attitudes. When asking simple questions about the pastrys ingredients or taking a second to decide due to lack of detailed answers, was met with inpatient and annoyed service.For the most part great store, just avoid the bakery counter.

We go here often for groceries and everyday items. Their vast selection makes them a one stop shop. Unfortunately their staff could take some happy pills like Trader Joes. As it seems to be their biggest miss as a company. As an outsider, maybe pay more for better workers?

There is ample parking close to an entrance. The doors you use to enter the store are never locked causing you to have to use the far exit when you finish shopping. No one harasses customers that have purchased goods as they leave. There is a Starbucks licensed shop at the northwest entrance. Fred Meyer stores generally have most everything, unless you find a neighborhood grocery store. Good clean well maintained stores. Good produce departments and competitively priced groceries. Typical quality and prices you will find at Fred Meyer and QFC stores.

I went to the Pharmacy to have my cholesterol taken. The pharmacist, Shane was awesome! He had wonderful customer service skills and makes a customer confident about his knowledge.

Great selection products at a very reasonable price. Love the new freezer with ready made entrees. Quick to prepare all ya need is a skillet with a tablespoon of oil and a plate to serve it on.
