I love this store. It has so many cool items to choose from. And where you can find new hobbies or further develop the ones you already have. Ive bought so much from here over the years. Picture frames, jewelry, gel pens, acrylic paints, flowers, drawing paper, markers, pencils, pens, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. I love going here and asking myself what I am going to do next. This store has kept me busy and creative for a long time now.

I could lose several hours in here easy. So much to see and admire. Always great seasonal decor and merchandise. Halloween, Christmas, Easter, etc. Wonderful gift ideas for all ages and just about any interests. Love the clearance section. Prices have really gone up but thats everywhere and for any sector. Great magazine and book selection. And beads! Hello, so much fun. Scrapbooking section is not what it once was but it is not as popular as it once was either. Employees are always helpful and friendly. Handicap parking and entrance. Restroom is available but it is locked but they are more then happy to open for you. Once upon a time classes were available but alas we live in a different time now.

This store is amazing, such great customer service. Not just the management but the staff as well. Id rather drive to turlock then to go to the modedto stire. Keep up the great work!

I love my local micheals. They have such cute stuff to buy especially DIY projects. Employees always do their best to help customers either at register or sales floor. And when they dont have enough employees on floor cashiers always guide me to the right aisle. I would come back here again to give business and support my small businesses.

Clean and well oeganized. They had many options for the budget-concious. But— if you are such, try and go to Staples first if you are buying pens, crayons, etc. Prices are reasonable if you are an artist. But otherwise, going to a supply stor might be better.

I went in to have a picture framed. This was my first time having a picture framed. The help was extremely knowledgeable and were able to help me choose my frame and matting. The finished project is beautiful.

As Ive seen the normal for Michaels, this location like others I have stopped at was tidy, clean and very brightly lit (Thank you! makes it easier to choose beads and such when it is easy to see). Quick to find everything and the store had everything I needed, plus a couple extra items I wasnt planning on. Staff was pleasant and helpful as always. Masks are being used and cleaning is performed regularly. I witnessed staff courteously monitoring and maintaining the 6ft separations and masking without any complaints from customers at all.looking forward to their new setups that were mentioned on my last visit and hoping for a lot of new products and potentially a touch more space to move around.

Wish they had there shelves stocked, everytime I go in to purchase certain items it seems that its always out.

Michaels, as usual, has great sales and also theyll recognize percent off coupons from other like stores. There were staff members available for help and they were always courteous and helpful, not to mention sweet.

I was disappointed, I was looking for stickers to seal Wedding invatations, I asked for help the man that helped said they didnt really have anything pertaining to weddings they had letters,blank circles or deco-pauge...no wax or anything...wow

They always have what I need. This time it was waterslide transfer paper for my printer.

Crafters paradise... store is clean and smells delicious like a craft store should!

The closest Michaels is a 40 minute drive 1 way. I made the trip because Caron Simply Soft was on sale at an unusually low sale price. First, their normal selection area for this yarn contained a fifth or less of the colors available in this yarn. As I walked out after purchasing the few available colors I needed I noticed over a quarter of the skeins had run up at the retail price. I went back through the line and when I pointed out the error the clerk took the computers are never wrong, please go away approach to the problem. I never give sales associates trouble over problems because they usually dont have the ability to solve them. I asked for the manager. She started out with the same approach but I kept going back to what the stores posted signs and weekly ad showed as the price. Finally she redid the sale at the corect price but her friendly attitude was she was doing me a big favor by honoring the advertised price. Computer systems frequently have incorrect prices on weekly sales for many businesses and its not the fault of store staff. But customer service. Errors in the system should be immediately solved for a customer without store personnel 1st acting as though theres no problem and then acting as it theyre doing you a favor by providing the item at the correct price. I wont be going back to Michaels any time soon. Although incorrect prices in the computer are irritating its the blatant disregard for customer service that will keep me away from Michaels. 🦋

I loved my experience on this day. Found some seashell necklaces that was $3 less than the same ones that were at Joanns fabric store. So much wonderful things in this store. Very nice and clean and organized. Even my husband enjoyed his shopping with me. lol I gotta say, this day was a good day!!

I dont write a review if im not really upset and this one just ruined my whole day and mood. Usually Michaels is the best store to go to, but kate the cashier was just so rude and so unhelpful. Ive never had a bad cashier over there but Kate was one of those even when I was just asking if I could use Google pay or a card she rolled her eyes and didnt even answer i repeated my question then she says well if its not working then its not there 🙄 Im like ok!

My favorite craft store in town. They always have what I need no matter what craft it relates to! And you have to love their customer service, always so helpful. Only downside is the line can get very long and take a while to get through it.

Another great craft store I go to when Hobby Lobby doesnt have something I need. Ive also had a few run ins with very helpful and friendly staff that seem to know what they are doing when they are helping me start on my new project. Very friendly and sometimes they even greet you when you walk in.

If you just go in and get what you want and get out its fine. The customer service isnt the best. Just depends on which worker. The cashier was just kind of rude thats about it. The rest was typical shopping experience.

Higher prices then Im used to paying at a craft store. Nothing struck me as spectacular.

This is a very LARGE Michaels craft store..., larger than most. Clean and always accommodating to customers. I like to shop locally and Turlock stores are really great with customer service and cleanliness.

I went in November for a birthday party. They were out of glasses, forks, pizza, plates and we waited. Finally after sitting down without drinks. Complained on line. They gave us 5 free meals to go back and try again. We went back a group of 8 and they were out of almost everything except salad. We tried to go in the toon room but all the tables were dirty. We finally all sat down to eat. There was no ice tea, waited for forks and ice cream wasnt working. They were only bringing out a couple pizzas at a time and there was lines. It was just as bad two times. Wont happen again.

They offer classes. Knitting and crochet plus other types of classes. Register over the internet or at the register in store. I took the crochet for beginners class for $15 for a two hour course in the store. The instructor was great and a Michaels store employee. Made learning how to crochet in just one class doable. Recommend this for anyone wanting to learn how to knit and or crochet. :)

Well its still way better than hobby lobby as far as selection goes or at least for the types of crafts and projects Im into personally,prices are good,friendly staff & a great location made Michaels a 4 * shopping experience..

I was an art major in high school is going to go to University of Berkeley for art but Michaels has everything that I could ever need in art supplies and crafts I still macrame and I still draw I think Michaels for that

My favorite store for crafting!

Almost impossible to find an employee to assist with questions or help. Always a wait at checkout. sometimes its difficult to find what Im looking for so I give up and sometimes they have not ordered or restocked. The good news is that the employees you do find are wonderfully cheerful and eager to be off assistance. The staff at framing are excellent, especially Nathan, he has an artistic eye and knows his business, so I always a ask for him when I need custom framing or above on color choices on mats.

As far as crafting stores go, its pretty good. Its not as big as Hobby Lobby but Ive found that it stocks some things you wont find at Hobby Lobby or Joannes Fabrics such as the 16 oz Mod Podge Hard Coat (which is hard to find). Theres never too long of a line either and the employees are always friendly. Be sure to look online for coupons before you go. They usually have a 40-50% discount coupon on regular priced items.

Id give this store a zero if I could. I havent been in it in ages because they didnt have some essential thing Id gone in there for the last time. Today i wanted a custom mat. I rang the bell at the framing desk several times. Nothing. I went up to the front checkout, and they seemed surprised no one was helping me but told me they would send someone to meet me. I went back and waited (and rang the bell several more times). Nothing. Ill have someone on Etsy make me what I want. For the record, I really wanted to choose my color in person. This is why box stores are losing out to online.

Its holiday shopping season and they only have 2 cashiers. The checkout line was LONG and there were only 2 cashiers at 1:30 pm. I understand the shelves being cleaned out due to the 50% sale, but the checkout process is unacceptable.

Love this craft and hobby store. Where Hobby Lobby and Joanns is more of a fabric sewing store, Michaels is more of a hobbyist and toy store. Lots of art supplies, and any kind of craft supplies. Not a lot of fabric but some. Lots and lots of gorgeous beads, a huge variety, and seasonal decorations, party supplies, a decent baking section, custom made floral arrangements and a big framing section. They will professionally and beautifully frame anything.Also offer a huge variety of baskets in many different shapes and sizes. Many different scented candles of various sizes and colors along with supplies to make your own as well. Rather big section of Mission building products offered for that ever famous Mission Model assignment from elementary school.Knowledgeable and helpful staff, of course I am bias in that area cause I worked there myself many years ago. Great and fun place to work. I loved it. Stamping, scrapbooking, a big Crayola area and a huge list of classes they offer, along with fun projects for the young ones. And for the bargain hunters, there is always a $1, $2, $3, section of fun items located in the front of the store and a fairly big clearance section with lots of neat and money saving products are located. Never know what you might find and didnt realize you needed til you seen it.

Lots of stuff for the crafters

I took my 7yr old grandson to the glitter slime class at Michaels. Only had to buy the jar...99 cents and Michaels provided all the rest of the stuff. It was so fun. We both enjoyed the class.

Ok store.. Couldnt find a employee to ask for help. The only employee i seen was at the register checking people out.
