This is one of the best coin dealer you can go to. He was so informative and really gives you a great price and deal on everything!! A lot of coin dealers will rip you off and he is by far that kind of person. He is completely honest and really makes you feel comfortable.

When I called the coin shop to ask some questions about purchasing metals a few months ago, Troy spent nearly 20 minutes giving a complete stranger a beginning tutorial! He is so knowledgeable about coins and metals. I have since been in to make purchases; each time Troy takes the time to continue my education, with patience and consideration. He is honest and trustworthy and I would recommend his shop as the first place to go. Hes got an amazing collection of coins. About 20 years ago I visited his shop and when he found out I was a teacher he donated some ancient Roman coins for my class. I still use them in world history. Great local resource!

I had read Troys “Coin Insights” article in the Modesto Living Magazine several times and he seemed like a good trustworthy guy. So...when I took my old coins into his coin shop, I was pleased to find him knowledgeable, efficient AND honest. He was able to tell me what he was looking for, gave advice and options. I learned so much...great experience!

Very rude and condescending. Will not be giving him my business ever. Was casually browsing the stores small collection and inquiring about pieces to make an informed purchase. Owner freaked out cause I was sniffling and asked me to leave. We live in the Central Valley where there are literally over a hundred thousand almonds trees it’s called allergies.

I stopped by to have some coins reviewed that I had inherited. Friendly Troy took the time to sort through my coin collection, explain his valuation and his credentials and history. I completely trust his determination. We then had a larger discussion about coins and investing. I really enjoyed my time there and actually made a purchase of some coins from my birth year. I will be headed back.

Called to inquire about a price on a Gold bar and received a fair price. Not as bad as others but not as good as some. When I called back ready to go to him to sell it, he was rude and hung up the phone. That just shows you that he has no business skills. You do not hand up on potential customers.

This guy is pretty good. Hours of business are kind of funny but he does have two stores to tend to. I have only purchased silver from him, he usually has something I want and his premium over spot is pretty reasonable, not as good as apmex but then again there is no shipping.

This place was awesome! I arrived a few minutes after the posted closing time and thought for sure I would have to come back, but he let me right in. He was very informative and understanding. He really know coins and their value etc! I dont feel I could have gotten a better price anywhere! I will never go to any other place after going to this guy! Very rude went in to inquire about some coins to potentially add to my collection. Did not want to answer questions acted like he was being bothered I was there. Then asked me leave because I was there more than 10 minutes.
