Had Cravings for lunch today, it was a pretty cool place inside. Limited menu, I am fine with that. The guys working to make the food seemed to have good attitudes. I would say the young lady at the register added very little discretionary value. Not even a “hello” or “anything else”. Poor energy.I still liked my lobster roll and would likely get it again. Also had a salad that was fine.

One word. WOW! I read about the lobster roll and it was delicious. I couldnt believe the gigantic chunks of REAL lobster I had to take a picture. The lobster mac and cheese was very flavorful with big lobster chunks in it (just look at the picture below). You have wonderful, friendly folks, great atmosphere plus very fast service and you got yourself a must go to place to eat.

Best place for breakfast on the strip! Bagels are amazing, and the mimosas for two is the perfect way to start the weekend!

Recently theyve switched the menu quite a bit. Love the new breakfast options. Quickly changed from a place Id visit once every few months to a place I frequent once a week. Great spot for breakfast, lunch, sweets, or a drink.

Amazing sandwiches! Really diverse drink selection, including a HUGE variety of bottled beers and other cocktails. I was driving so got two different small batch root beers. The chicken salad croissant was light, flaky, and stuffed full-not too much mayo, flavorful dressing. The rye bread in the corned beef Reuben was flavorful without being overpowering. The spicy pickles on the Reuben were a nice nontraditional touch that made it really pop! The crusty outside soft inside hoagie roll used for the Cuban continued this sandwich trifecta. Generous helpings of meat and cheese inside with a perfect amount of mustard and pickles. From bread to fillings, to sides, they dont skimp on ANY details here. Great selection of Zapps potato chips that come with the sandwiches. The Greek coleslaw was a nice twist on this classic side.We got takeout but the ambiance was chill and modern with comfy-looking couches. The bathrooms were even nice. This was a pit stop on a long road trip but if I lived in Tuscaloosa, I think this would be a frequent go-to lunch spot. My ONLY complaint was that NOBODY, neither staff nor patrons was wearing, or even appeared to be carrying a mask 😷. In June 2021, this really saddens me.

Tripadvisor got me here. Made me ponder how is this the top ranked place to eat in T-town?Heres my experience there as of March 2021.The restaurant has a calm atmosphere where you can relax. Theres also two or three large screen tvs to watch sports/news.Near the entrance. On the right side of the wall. They have the variety of wine selections and fridges that stores cold beer, sport drinks, soda, etc.On the left. Side on the entrance the staff counter takes your orders. The food is focused on club sandwiches like the corn beef and lobster on a hot dog bun.Overall I can see why this is a popular hangout spot along with a large drink market. However this place doesnt qualify as an actual restaurant in my opinion. So was the visit worth it?Yes.

We went to this restaurant a few weeks ago when we were down for our daughters graduation. We were fortunate enough to secure the three tables in front after sitting inside for a good 20 minutes plus waiting for our order. Our first observation was the it was very smokie inside. A quick scan of the place revealed that they dont have cooktop exhaust hoods and ventilation ducts. This strikes me as being a fire code violation at the worst and an inconvenience to patrons at best.The sandwiches were half decent at best. I had a Cuban sandwich and the bread was not fresh and the swiss cheese was bland. Nothing was served quickly as they appeared to be understaffed.I did like the large beverage selection that they have. This place is probably okay to grab and go or to sit and have a few drinks (outside). I would not recommend it for sit down dining.

Hours are not as advertised on their website. They advertise that they have breakfast all day, but when I stopped by at 2pm they said the kitchen is closed and everything had been cleaned. They could not make us a bagel sandwich. They could only offer drinks, a cold bagel or a cinnamon bun. This was the second time I attempted to eat there. I will not try again.

The food was great, but I did not like the coffee.

There should be a way to charge for a bagel with out toppings. $4.50 a bagel with nothing on it is ridiculous. Go across the street and get a better bagel for $2.

Recently tried the Detroit pizza with charred and cupped pepperoni. Delicious! Am a local and will return to try other items on menu, all prepared with fresh ingredients. Large selection of wines and beer. The congenial owner was a delight to chat with. Highly recommend.

Great wait staff and solid beer selection. On the food side was told (middle of September, 2020) that they were transitioning to new owners and to expect changes to the menu in the next few weeks. The young lady who was talking to me about it seemed super excited even though she couldnt share details, so Im looking forward to heading back and seeing what they end up doing.

Fortunately I stumbled upon this place - what a gem! Amazing beer selection and great food - especially the bagels. Great staff. Service was terrific too, and Holly took the time to explain the food options making for a great experience. I will be back for the pizza for sure and look forward to making this a go to spot when Im in town, especially for the Pork Roll!

I go to cravings on average twice a month to check out their craft beer selection. I meet up with my brother and we generally drink a few and then move on. The shop also serves food items with a New Orleans flair. I’ve eaten a few things here and it’s always been good. Also, if you’re looking for an exotic meat or even a candy, Cravings may have it...

Do yourself a flavor and check out Tuscaloosa’s best. I’ve been going to Cravings since they opened and have not once been disappointed. Dan is so super awesome and helpful. Everything is always fresh and so so yummy.. My personal favorite are the calzones, best I’ve ever had!

Excellent food and customer service! Must try if in the area.

Went in to get a toasted and buttered bagel, and was greeted by a rude girl that seemed very uninterested in being at work. She proceeded to aimlessly walk around the kitchen, use her cell phone, fix her hair, and ring up the only other customer all while wearing the same gloves she used to touch my food. My bagel sat under the toaster finished and getting cold for almost 10 minutes while she did this, and finally when she got around to buttering my bagel she only put butter on one side. Absolutely ridiculous, I would give ZERO stars if I could.

I was in here the other day. The worker at the time, Holly, was so helpful! She gave me so many great recommendations on what drinks to get! She was super knowledgeable and helped me find exactly what I was looking for! Such great customer service! She guided me in the right direction and helped me out so much!!! Such a great experience! I can’t wait to return for more!!!

Glad this place came up as a restaurant that sold Sicilian pizza. I drove from Birmingham to try this place and was not disappointed. I believe the owner prepared my pizza and had it cooking when I arrived which made me happy. Usually restaurants either cook and let get cold or have you waiting past your pick up time. Thank you for the delicious pizza!! I will be back to try other menu items.

This combo restaurant/convince store is definitely a must see for anyone coming to Tuscaloosa! They have a large selection of craft beers & sodas that you don’t see at your regular corner store. Plus their pizza is amazing!! Make sure when you stop in to ask for Holly! Her great customer service & great recommendations are a major plus for me!!

Cravings is a hidden gem in Tuscaloosa! Dan, the owner, is always cooking up delicious weekly specials. He hand makes New York, Sicilian, and Detroit style pizzas and they are to die for. He has created a super wholesome environment in his shop through the excellent customer service, authentic food from New York bagels to New Orleans king cakes, and a huge assortment of craft beers, specialty drinks, and old fashioned candies!Definitely worth visiting, theres nothing else like it in Tuscaloosa!

Just had a slice of the sicilian pizza with cup and char pepperoni. I am originally from Buffalo, NY and am familiar with that style of pepperoni. So good and a reminder of home. Picked up a bagel for breakfast in the morning. SO GOOD!!

Oh my gosh!! we can not believe that it took us so long to finally try cravings! We are going back right now for the 2nd day in a row! The lobster roll and the chicken salad sandwich were amazing!! And the customer service could not have been Better! We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone!

THE BEST PIZZA IN TUSCALOOSA HANDS DOWN!!! No Cap!!! Using a gluten-free recipe for the dough, makes for a super fluffy but filling, not too little - not too much taste! Just hands down awesome, delicious deserts, I had the bday cake cheesecake and it over-ceded my expectations, fairly priced for the taste for sure! Repeat repeat repeat!

Gluten-free Detroit-style pizza...I bought it for my wife since she does the gluten-free thing. I did eat a piece of it since...well...I was hungry and was ready for a cheat meal (I usually am on a Keto diet).If I had not known this was a GF crust, I would have no idea and that is the best compliment it can receive. No weird cauliflower or cardboard flavor or texture. It was a good, thick crust pizza.It comes with 4 slices and I figure most people will be happy with just one slice at a time and be plenty full. She gets the remaining pieces for supper later.No photo because the box is now empty. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Great service and good food except the mac and cheese. Basically boiled these flat square noodles strained them and put them on my plate and then made the cheese sauce and poured it on the noodles. They werent even mixed in... I had to stir all of it together. I was really disappointed with that. Had 0 flavor. But other than that the crawfish roll was on good.

Cravings is the place for everything! Wonderful staff that are always so friendly and helpful. I love getting their bagel sandwiches with jalapeño infused bacon!! They also have a great selection of beer and wine. We went for a pizza tasting, while they work on their recipes to add them to the menu and it was already delicious.

Craving is our favorite hangout in T-town! We love that we can choose a beverage from tons of options, then sit on the patio to sip and relax. Great food, treats and drinks. Dan the owner has a heart of gold. Totally worth checking out......then hanging out.

I absolutely love this place! They have delicious and fresh seafood from Louisiana. The bagels and desserts are all from New York and amazing. Their beer and wine selection is equally as yummy. So many really hard to find flavors and brands at super affordable prices! Everything is amazing and the service is wonderful. Highly recommend!!

I had recently left a negative review, but I spoke with the owner, who was extremely quick to respond, and I am happy to give Cravings a five star review. My complaint was met with kind explanation and absolute willingness to replace the product about which I had complained. Aside from the owner’s exceptional response to my complaint, my husband was impressed with Cravings’ large beer selection and very pleased with the quality of the beers that he purchased, as well as the friendly service while he was there. It sounds like my bad experience was a rare fluke, and I’m excited to see what else Cravings has to offer.

I tried the Detroit style pizza. Excellent dough, Great flavor, nice crunch on the crust, and a very tangy sauce. Friendly owners and staff! The beer and drink selection is great.

The Sicilian pizza is PHENOMENAL! Highly recommend getting this on Thursday nights for dinner with your family!! The crust is fluffy and airy and the toppings are even better!!!

Stopped by to feed our team lunch. Dan and his staff immediately greeted us by name and had lunch ready for us within 15 minutes. The pizza was excellent as always.

If you want fantastic pizza that’s totally made from scratch then this is your place! I ordered the sicilian pizza w homemade sauce and homemade sliced meatballs. The crust is thick but very light and airy. Don’t be scared when I say thick bc it isn’t doughy at all. You’ll love it!! Right now they only serve it on Thursdays and Fridays but I hear they plan to offer it more frequently in the near future. Try it! You won’t be sorry!

I love Cravings. As a UA student, Cravings is one of my favorites places for an afternoon snack or a late night one. Though their bagels are my favorites, they have so much to chose from. The owner is very kind and hardworking!

We had a Detroit cheese pizza, lobster roll and berry marscapone cake. We took our meal to go. The lobster roll was full of large pieces, and my husband fell in love with the pizza. The cake was awesome!

Everyone needs to visit Cravings in Tuscaloosa. My favorite: the Lox bagel. I also love the lobster roll & hear the pizza is amazing. There is a variety of different drinks, so when I visit I love to try a new one every time! You can also get Cravings delivered which is amazing when I’m busy studying or sick. :)

Great beer and wine selection. Fresh homemade quiche is to DIE for! Other freshly made food is available in their deli/bakery too. Nice assortment of specialty snacks and select European chocolate. There are some tables to eat in, and a few tables outside. Most folks grabbing snacks and drinks to go. Not much parking with crazy downtown Tuscaloosa, but definitely worth the trouble and the $$. You feel like you might just be in a city when you visit this place. Vibe is artsy urban, modern and bright in high-ceiling lovely old building. Highly recommend!

The food is always delicious when I come here and the drink selection is amazing with its wide variety of drinks. The best thing about this place is the staff, they are always friendly and bright when I come in and I always leave with having a nice conversation even it was only 5 minutes.

Cravings is one of my favorite places to grab a drink after work. I’ve been coming here for a couple of years and Cravings was one of my favorite places to study while in Grad school; I could grab some food and have quality beer at the cheapest place in town. This place still remains one of my favorite places. The food is a little more expensive but is very fresh and well made. They do have cheaper options for food but taste is not compromised. This is a Tuscaloosa staple if you’re in town.

Great hospitality once you walk in the door. I was greeted and asked if I knew my way around in which i said no. The chef immediately gave me a quick run down of what everything is and where. I then went on to order a steak, egg and cheese bagel which was all fresh and highly recommended!

Staff is always friendly and food is usually good. Today, however, I had to remind the owner that he should be washing his hands between touching money and touching food. Big no no.

Cravings is our favorite restaurant in town! I eat here at least once a week for lunch and usually again with my wife on the weekend! Cravings is the quickest place downtown to grab a bite to eat and the service is top notch!! Its perfect for breakfast, lunch or dinner and is family friendly! Cravings is probably the closest thing your going to get to New York style deli sandwiches and New York bagels outside of New York City! His bagels actually come from New York and they are excellent!! The lox salmon bagel and the steak egg and cheese everything bagels are two of my favorites! It doesnt stop there! He has the best quiche you will find and offers a variety to choose from! The new Orleans muffaletta on authentic bread he gets from New Orleans is excellent and one of my favorites also! His pizzas are excellent and unlike anything else you will find local! I have tried the Detroit and look forward to trying more. He has a Very Very large selection of specialty drinks, beers, wine, ice cream, king cakes (seasonal), candy and snacks! The atmosphere is really great and relaxing to hang out eat food and grab a beer with friends. His beer prices are very reasonable too! I would definitely recommend cravings to anyone looking for a quick relaxing meal, great craft beer and a unique experience! On a cold and rainy day I found myself in need of a warm and delicious meal. I stopped into Cravings and had some of the BEST Seafood Gumbo I had ever tasted. That, coupled with a delicious Egg, Cheese, and Conecuh Sausage Sandwich, warmed me for the rest of my day. I highly recommend giving this place a try. By the way, their Quiche is delicious too!

This place has a wonderful selection of items you wont find anywhere else from craft beers to colas and specialty waters. The food selection is also unique and freshly prepared. The man behind the counter was super nice and even made sure I knew where everything was without even having to ask.

This was my first time visiting Cravings. I was overwhelmed and didnt know where to begin. Thankfully, Cat and Ben were amazing! They greeted me and gave me a tour. Ben gave me some suggestions on different beers to try (I built my own pack). I will definitely be recommending Cravings and returning soon.

This is the coolest place! They have bagels delivered from New York and travel to New Orleans for a few of the other items they serve. The food was unbelievable! They even had king cakes for Mardi Gras. Excellent beer and wine selection as well!

The owner is always super nice when you come in, and they have a great selection. A lot of stuff you cant find anywhere else. Today I tried the fresh tomato basil pasta and it was absolutely delicious. You can never say for sure whats on the menu when you come in but you can always know itll be delicious.

They have a pretty large selection of beers and stuff and I especially like all the candies they offer too. They have games you can pick up and play if you go with friends. Over all its a nice little place to hangout after work or on the weekend.

The pizza was absolutely phenomenal. Great selection on products and beers and relaxing atmosphere.

The owner was very helpful when we walked in. Great atmosphere there with tons of drinks and candy options which was fun to look at while we waited for our food. I got the crab poboy and my friend got the Cajun quiche which were both excellent. I will definitely come back with a group and play the board games that they provide.

All and all I liked the food i got but honestly it was overpriced to watch the guy microwave everything in front of me. Extra points for wonderful hospitality from the young lady who helped us out.

Great place! Ive been often and they are great for a late night post bars snack, early bird breakfast and everything in-between. Probably the best beer selection in ttown. Highly recommend!
