Awful customer service. The guy seemed like he wanted me gone as soon as he heard my budget. Left the store (empty handed) feeling like I had been spat on. Im sure the mattresses are fine but man they should fire that guy.

I hadnt bought a mattress in 15 years and since theyve changed SO much in that time, I had a learning curve but James made it very easy and explained everything I needed to know. He explained how the mattresses are constructed, which ones had innersprings and what that was good for, what the gel-infused foam was and how that impacts how one sleeps, and he also didnt hesitate to point out that they carry mattresses other than just the Ortho manufactured ones.James asked perfect questions to zero in on what I needed and pointed out the beds he knew fit my needs. He was very low-key so I never felt any salesman pressure, and I had plenty of time to lay on whatever beds I wanted to try out. I asked a LOT of questions to make sure I was getting the best bed for my elderly parents, and I felt so confident with the information with which he provided me. .He was also very personable, I went home and did some further research, which just verified everything James had explained to me. I wound up getting 3 beds, furnishing my guest room [finally] and getting one for myself since mine was 15 years old, and the one for my parents.I NEVER felt any sales pressure, and when I went back the next day James greeted me and made the purchasing so easy and clear. I will recommend this particular store to anyone I know whos mattress shopping. Id been dreading the shopping and it turned out to be a real pleasure.

Steve was very helpful and showed me the various models for the mattress that I was looking for. He did not try to up-sell me on the more expensive mattress there. We went to a few different mattress stores, but what made our experience at Ortho Mattress in Tustin different was our salesman, Steve. He really wanted us to understand the differences in mattresses and why certain ones werent right for us based on our sleep habits. We needed something firm and supportive of our lower backs since our current mattress doesnt offer that support anymore. Steve asked us a lot of questions and narrowed down the types of mattresses he thought would be best for us and he was right! His outstanding customer service and knowledge made us feel at ease and confident in our purchase. We dont know much to anything about mattresses other than what wed like out of it, but Steve knew his stuff about how theyre made and why other brands are more or less costly than others. As a customer, this was what youd want out of a large purchase and Steve was able to deliver this experience for us.
