Great little coffee spot in a book store. Vibe is amazing. Flat white was great. I didnt love the mocha as much - but they have a couple other interesting drinks (e.g. maple) and the coffee itself is good. No pastries just now, but sounds like they are working on getting a new supplier.

Such a great spot (located inside the book store) for 3rd wave coffee. The guys here know their stuff. Always a great cup of coffee. The espresso is smooth no hint of over/under extraction. The pour overs taste clean and pretty closely resemble the roasters tasting notes (the v60 is hard to keep consistent so well done), and they always offer interesting additional beverage options (japanese sparkling water was available today). This is a great addition to downtown. Im very excited for when they get a brick and mortar spot.

Stumbled on this little gem while donating some books. Alex was very friendly and explained the origin of the beans used to make their coffee. Honestly, this is on of the best tasting coffees I have consumed. Smooth, fresh, tasty, when in the area I will diffently drop by.

Such a great spot. Inside the book store creates a cool feel. The coffee is great. The owner has obviously doesnt time developing three drinks and coding his coffees. The espresso is smooth and the pour overs are always well extracted. Highly recommend this place.

This review is long overdue. Hands down best lattes. Grabbing a fancy latte is something I really love to do. The guys that run this space are so sweet and friendly. Their customer service is amazing. I highly recommend you check them out!

I love them all for different reasons: environment, lighting, seating, coffee acidity, strong WiFi, etc. So here is what is so amazing about White Sparrow Coffee...The owner and operator, Alex, is the real deal. He is your true-blue, grassroots, heartfelt entrepreneur. He grew up here, went to school nearby, still lives down the street and is chasing his dream to provide a higher class of personal coffee. You can taste the difference! With Starbucks a dime-a-dozen, hes exactly what we need more of in this town, in this county and this country!And if you wonder if I am just touting the business owner and not the coffee, just you wait! This morning I tried Alexs PH Delight (Iced)--WHOOAAA!! No exaggeration, I finished my coffee before I got to my car because I I enjoyed the taste so much. I know, I know--Rainier, enjoy your coffee, take your time, sip it slowly... Well, sometime you taste something so delicious that your primary thought becomes, GET IN MY BODY!! lol. Honestly, it was the perfect balance of honey, vanilla, cinnamon and downright awesomeness.Heres another worthwhile note about this shop. I was admiring the unique look and style of his syrups. One thing I realized right away was that it wasnt the stereotypical brand I used to stock at Smart & Final. No no no, this was something I had never seen before. Come to find out he took the time to research unique, small business brands so he could support other small business like himself, all while providing deeper taste and higher quality. This was the same story with his coffee beans, expresso beans, etc.Everywhere I looked, there was something special, something unique and something personal. Hes a one man shop in the front corner of a little bookstore in Old Town Tustin--such a cute spot! Seriously, I can only imagine what this coffee shop could feel like if only Alex had a full bar, full seating, and a team to help him. I cant wait to head back there any try the rest of his menu. My partner and I come to this coffee shop almost every weekend! Both Alex and Minh are extremely friendly and welcoming every time we visit - they make you feel as though you have known them forever! I am obsessed with the iced lavender latte. We are so lucky to have this gem of a coffee shop in our neighborhood.

This is a small stand inside of a book shop. Cool location and nice people! They use Common Room Roasters beans, which I like. You can also walk around downtown Tustin afterwards.
