I had never been to this salon before yesterday so when I called I didnt know what stylist to ask for. I am very happy that I Diane was the stylist that returned my phone call. She was very kind over the phone and asked me to text her pictures of my hair and I was also able to send her a reference photo. The day of my appointment she greeted me as I walked in the door and was finishing up with her previous client, sanitized her work area and I was able to sit down in her chair right at my appointment time. She had my reference photo pulled up on her phone and asked me some questions to make sure exactly how I wanted my hair. Diane did a full head of highlights on my hair, she took me from a dark blonde to a very light blonde and it looks amazing! She also cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and I couldnt be happier!! Diane was very friendly and did very detailed work. I highly recommend going to Diane for cut and color.

I am super happy with my hair cut. I got antsy and gave myself a really bad coronavirus haircut. I came to Boardwalk as a walk in and after a very short wait, I was helped. She did an amazing job with what I had left her. Thank you so much!!!

I decided to stay local and visit a salon in town rather than Palm Springs. I am NOT very pleased with my cut, as I look at it the day after. I asked for a simple medium length bob and it looks like a chopped up mess. I have VERY thick hair so I know it will take a while to cut through all of it however the stylist sped through it instead of taking her time. It looks like something an amateur stylist with very little experience would have done. I do not recommend.

Finding a quality salon in a small town is difficult business and as a result Ive tried several stylists ranging from 29 Palms to Yucca Valley over the past few years. Some stylists move, others are just not that good. Thankfully Ive revisited the Boardwalk and met with Christina. In years past Ive been to this salon but with a different stylist (who has since moved on).Bouncing around for the last year and less than impressed by other stylists I set an appointment with Christina. She did a wonderful job with my color in quick and efficient time. She also had to work to blend and attempt to fix what could be considered nothing less than a butcher-job I received at my previous cut by a different stylist. The cut correction will take several months and more visits but Im confident Christina is the right choice to fix me up.Nice color, good haircut even with the harsh cuts of days past and reasonably priced. Im happy to be supporting another 29 Palms business and the location is terrific too! Check them out!

I can honestly say that Boardwalk is awesome. Corbie does an amazing job, she has done my hair plenty of times to dying it to shopping all my hair off and it always turned out amazing. She always held a great conversation unlike other places that you just sit there in boredem. The salon is quiet and relaxing great to get away and do something for yourself. I would defiantly recommend Corbie she is great. I have never left unsatisfied.

Skye did my hair yesterday! I called 30 mins before they closed and she was like come on in. I have black hair and i wanted to go red. And she was very nice and kind and told me everything i need/wanted to know. the process took almost 3 hours. i also got a cut. All the ladies are very nice and i will definitely be going back. Also i got my nails done today and she is very good as well strongly recommend this salon .

I was stationed here for many years before I discovered this gem. Close to base and the ladies were always so nice...which made you feel very comfortable while getting your hair done. I have super thick hair and Christina always took her time to ensure my hair was taken care and done perfect. Miss this place, thank you Christina for taking care of Marines.

Got my hair done by Corbie for the most part it was okay once I got home and my hair dryer I noticed it was kind of patchy ... and not as grey/silver as o wanted, But shes a great girl super nice and friendly. Just wish my hair was more vibrant .. I payed 150 . For something I could of probably done by myself. Customer service was 100% but my hair outcome wasnt.

Michelle did a sweet job on this old gal’s locks!!Nothing drastic and very considerate of my age, facial shape and lifestyle! Very reasonable, too!!

This place is dirty and the staff is rude. And the hair cut was mediocre at best and they charged me Palm Spring prices. If I could give them 0 stars, I would.

Very very impressed. I am very picky about who does my hair. Christine did an amazing job. She asked me lots of questions about the color I was going for. She will be the one I will be going to, while we are stationed here in Twentynine Palms.

I decided to go here since I am new in town, and everyone suggested that I go here. I decided to give it a try instead of driving all the way to Palm Springs. I now regret doing that. My hair looks like a super cuts style haircut, its a chopped up mess. After I washed it, it just looks bad. I am unhappy with this cut. The ladies there were nice, maybe another stylist would have been better, or maybe my hair is hard to work with but the cut looks bad. I am very disappointed. .

Christina did a fantastic job on the cut and color. I couldnt be happier!
