Tillotson car care is ABSOLUTELY the worst, most unprofessional place to take your vehicle. I took my truck in for 3 items. Swap out a sunroof, repair an A/C, and fix an evap leak. 2 months later, and tom has fixed just the A/C. He has lied to me multiple times about the progress of my vehicle and goes out of his way to avoid my phone calls. The first sunroof he put in was SPRAY PAINTED to match the interior. The second sunroof put in does match, however does not even come close to sealing. The Evap leak still isnt fixed eventho hes replaced multiple parts bottom line, tom is 100 percent the worst person to have work on your vehicle. When i asked about getting a fraction of my money back, he threatened me with court. Unless you like giving away your money and not having your vehicle fixed. Absolutely outstanding service. We had a rented motor-home. Tom was just amazing as were his family! gorgeous people. He is incredibly clever and knowledgeable. they work hard and are the kindest people we met on our 7 week trip through the West side of USA. Thank you guys!

Amazing service! Tom, the owner, met me and a tow truck driver at midnight after I put diesel in my car by accident :(. Tom showed up, made sure the car was dropped in the right place, and they worked on it the next day! The whole shop went out of their way to be helpful and provide advice before I left town; I was blown away by their service and honesty!

Please read all reviews first !! This is a prime example of a NIGHTMARE of a “mechanic” shop. Unless you have 6-12 months and $2000-$4000 dollars to waist do not take your vehicle here for even the slightest repair. For example, what will start as needing a head gasket will cost you 3 motors and 7 months. Even though you’ll end up towing the car to a separate mechanic shop to have work finished and repairs made to multiple damages caused by this so called “mechanic”

Tom is awesome!!!He helped us completely replace the engine in our vehicle after another local mechanic blew it up, when he was only supposed to be doing a minor fix.Tom did an awesome job of helping us out and getting our vehicle fixed and going again.Thanks to Tom and his crew for the awesome job!!

They have been telling me it will be done on a Friday, but when I call in they tell me it won’t be done until the next Friday and they’ve been telling me this every week for the past 4 months. Instead of working on my car they leave it, hood open, in their shop. I paid $2,000 for them to tell me it will be done every Friday when it isn’t. After paying $2,000 and waiting 4 months I am tired of waiting for a hopeless mechanic to continue on with his antics. I do not recommend anyone going to this shop to get their car fixed.

I have taken many cars to Tom for repair, starting with a BMW 325i that needed general tune up and brake work. Hes also the only mechanic in Twin I trusted to take care of the air glide suspension on my Audi All Road 4WD vehicle. Over the years I also had my son take his Mercury Sable in and his Chevy Malibu. While another son had Tom go over what it would take to fully restore the engine components for a Cadillac Catera. Each interaction was pleasant, informative, and professional. I do believe he practices honest and ethical car care and repairs!

Friendly staff and outstanding service. These guys take time to answer questions and get things done right the first time. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs their car worked on.

Family owned and operated. Just recently had warranty work done on daughters car. they Honored it even though it was a weak past expiration date. Thank you everyone at Tillotson Car care.

I had a problem and took my car to the same shop three times and they never fixed it. I took it to Tom he found it in 5 minutes and didnt even charge me to fix it. I have been taking my cars there ever since for the last 3 years and they have been phenomenal

This place made my mom their only priority after she was stuck in Idaho trying to get back to California. She was in a terrible hardship and they tried to make this the smoothest and easiest process.

Worst place ever ... We took our truck in for a simplw fix he talked my boyfriend into more work totaling 3,500 from the original 300. The day after we got the truck back it died and left him stranded in Buhl. When he called tom he told him to just call a tow truck ... In the mean time he was also working on our rat rod ... He wanted prepaid so we paid him 2,000. We drove by his shop and our rat rod was sitting outside with keys in it late at night across from a bar ... So we took car home I later called tom and asked for our money back as we had another mechanic to fix it he refused to refund me the money saying he had to talk to my boyfriend. He never tried to call him. Weeks later my boyfriend called and asked for our money back he was extremely unprofessional swearing and being ignorant, still refusing to refund our money even tho no work has been done to our car at all.... This man is a rip off and Ive heard it now from 4 different people of being in almost the same scenario as well as him taking months at a time to fix things claiming they sent him the wrong part.

Worst experience Ive ever had. I took my BMW around January, they had told me it was a module after changing plenty they said it was my ignition switch so they replaced it and they also replaced my gas pump which stopped working installed a $300 gas pump without authorization from anyone. Had to wait till July and still no results from the car always little problem and they were gonna have a specialist come in and look at the car after all the bullsh!+, took the car home and had my brother and a friend help out had the car running in 3 hours. Biggest waste of time and money at the shop never recommending to anyone.

The shop owner is an enthusiast and passionist for car care and performance but unfortunately is also not committed to working or fixing a vehicle...I wrote a great review I even 4 stared his shop on my previous review but as u can see I removed all that..I was completely wrong and regret taking my car to his shop please consider another shop before deciding to take it here.

If zero stars was an option I wouldChoose that. They have ripped off my grandparents over and over again with thousands of dollars. Go elsewhere

Absolutely horrible, cost over $5,000 the first time and took a month, we had to go back to get it finished and they didnt even touch the car for another month, and then tried to charge over $1,000 more for partsWould give negative stars if possible.

Honest and great service and pricing. Will be taking all my work to Tillotson.

My youngest brother had a deal with Tommie and he backed out after 3 months of saying ill do it i would not recommend
