Very friendly staff. Pointed us in the right direction but had to find someone to check on a size. Staff got side tracked but eventually found us what we needed. Quick check out. A little limited in selection and sizes but good prices on shoes. Shirts and shirts not as much.

Service is hit or miss here, and the exercise equipment selection is very slim. The associate I approached for assistance had no idea what a balance board was.

I came here to replace my old Response Gear Boots Ive had for close to 9 years that I got from Big 5. I bought a pair of Magnum boots, only after trying on 12 different boots. The gentleman who helped me was extremely helpful and was so willing to grab different sizes for me. I love my new boots and appreciate them for their help. I reccomend this store!

A place you can find some deals. No dressing rooms though to try on clothing. Don’t know if this is due to COVID.

I came here because I was looking for a baseball glove for my son but the selection was so lacking I couldnt find a thing. On top of that, the options that were listed were very pricey. I wasnt very impressed.

Ive been shopping big five for years, but due to their participation in the illegal practice of requiring masks, even after it has been proven that masks do nothing. Big 5 is now added to the list of businesses that I will no longer honor with my hard earned dollars. Youre best off shopping local anyway.

I went in for XXL snowpants to go ski in. They have a great selection, just none that can fit a well built guy (Im pretty muscular). Tried on a few, but had to leave. The staff were very helpful in helping me out though! Still would recommend to anyone wanting a good but inexpensive pair of snowpants. They also had no snowboots.

The service is not great got my shoes lady walked off and had handed me the wrong size couldnt find her but found another lady that helped me out. They need to tell the clerks that they need to finish the sale before leaving.

Fantastic customer service! I believe, the manager, Manda Lynn or something like that, helped me greatly in looking for things I needed for my daughters school ski trip. I also must say I bought a pair of snow pants that didnt fit and had to return them so I came right back in and she was super accommodating and understanding and allowed me to get the right one. Definitely go here first, save yourself sometime while dealing with great service.

Poor selection in firearms and ammo. No bicycles. Prices not marked on kayaks. Walked around for 2 to 3 minutes before staff looked up from their cellphone and asked if they could help me.

They didnt have what we needed this time, but its always a fun visit.

Walk in girl behind counter asked if I had a mask I said nope..do you? She then proceeded to show me ones she had for sale...I told her I was there for shoes and then went to the back for shoes .....not one person helped me lol 😆 I will buy elsewhere...next time

I loved getting my camping gear here, I got so many things on sale! But- I have to mention my tent. I purchased the Golden Bear 4 person tent, it has held up in the rain and strong winds for near two weeks! My last tent bought somewhere else didnt last three days. 🤭I wish I would have shopped here sooner, definitely the place to go when youre having an outing. Thank you Big 5!

I shop here a lot! I receive emails to USE my coupons...on Sunday June 28th I went in to purchase running shoes for my daughter. When we entered the first lady was really nice! But the lady doing the shoes was very unprofessional. Out loud in the store she yells out to the other lady (the nice lady) working that she had misplaced a womens display shoe in the youths section. So uneccessary to say this out loud and obviously trying to belittle her in front of others. Then this lady (with her high heel boots on) in a sporting goods store lol kept walking IN FRONT of us while we were trying to shop for shoes. So rude. I understand its tight areas in the shoe section but give us a minute to look! We just left! Didnt feel welcomed by her at all! Usually it is always a great experience and great help...not on Sunday.

Not impressed with how they act during the pandemic. They require masks, yet dont provide them. Didnt have a selection of what I was looking for either.

Helpful employers and great return policy

My needed a pair of shoes and couldnt find what she needed and we were about ready to leave and an associate saleswoman helped us out and my wife got the shoes that she needs and we really appreciated it and she went out of her way to help us!

For some specific sport items its a great store. In general there are better stores with better prices to get recreation gear. Their weekly sales are however, decent.

Went in looking for a scooter a while ago found very horrible service. They dont care to help anyone there. If you want to be ignore when your trying to get information on a product this is the place to go. Dont expect help here.

We went in looking for walking shoes/ sketchers found a great pair on sale from 69$ to 29$ I love them. Also got a pair of boots I love them too. I wish the employees were more helpful and friendly. We had to walk around one employee just to get to the shoes.... it was odd. Im giving four stars today because the shoes and prices were/are amazing. Employees could use some customer care training or something.

Drakes Lexington fishing and Outdoor sporting gear. Good selection of Outdoor Clothing as well. So is very clean and well-kept. Staff is very friendly and professional. Always have what Im looking for when I go. Also have the ability to order online if necessary.

The was a good example of a Big 5. Staff was friendly but not overbearing, the store was clean and organized, and I was able to find what I was looking for. This was my first time every visiting this location as I dont spend a lot of time in the area, but its nice to know whats available at this particular Big 5 for future visits. Id definitely go there again if I knew they had something I needed when I was in the area. Overall the pricing at Big 5 isnt great, but occasionally they have some unbeatable deals.

We went to get a wagon, asked if they knew the weight limitations on it because it didnt say on the box. Asked the girl at the register for help in the camping she never called anybody. We waited about 15 minutes nobody came to help us. Went back to the front asked a guy if he could help us he came didnt know the answer to our question said he would someone who would know the answer and never came back. I know it is black Friday but may be having extra people working would help

Not impressed with the salespeople! Either they are constantly hanging over you OR you cant find anyone OR they are too busy chatting on their cells or with other employees! And this store, compared to the one in the Treasure Valley, is waaay overcrowded! You cant move between the racks, and definitely not with a cart! The store looks cluttered and unorganized! I hurried and bought my items and never been back.

All staff working were very willing to help from girl at the register, the guy and definitely Tracy. Tracy helped me and went to the back about 8 different times to get other shoes for me. Other clothing and sporting stores should come to this location to learn what awesome customer service is.

The salesmen are very knowledgable of where their products are located within the store. They are very polite and helpful!

Horrible customer service!!! My husband and I walked in and there were about 5-6 employees standing around the front counter. I ask a question regarding what I wanted to purchase, they looked at us and back at each other for a good 1 minute or so then a guy said Ill help you, and started walking away. We had to run after him. He showed us the shoes and left. No other interaction whats so ever. Didnt care at all for us being there.

I like this Big 5. They honor digital coupons and are always nice. While not overly helpful, which I hate, they are willing to answer questions and help when needed.
