Great service and great quality clothes. Love the camisoles and wonder tees available here. Perfect lengths and comfy. I never shop anywhere else for these essentials for my wardrobe. Sometimes they don’t have my size but I just check back again and they usually do or buy online.

The store is tidy and the employees are helpful. The clothes are stylish but often when Id spot something I wanted to try on, they only had larger sizes available and Im a size small.

I am blown away by the customer service I received coming into Downeast. I specifically came to SLC for the weekend to do some house shopping. Downeast was exactly top on my list and let me just say I am speechless by the service I was given! I am not the best at decorating, putting everything together but I did come with many ideas and inspirations. Heather and Nick both exceeded my expectations on giving assistance with decorating and selecting the decor/furniture. The entire store was beautifully put together and the staff was incredible. I wish I lived closer so that I could always resort to their assistance. I hands down had the best experience, I didnt ever feel rushed, I felt like Heather truly was able to pick up on the styles I was leaning for a specific look. Seriously, I am so appreciative!

I recently visited this location and the customer service was exceptional. Not only is the showroom absolutely gorgeous, but the designers are friendly, knowledgeable and willing to help you find the right piece of furniture for your home. Kimberly took the time to sit down with me to answer questions and meticulously put together a detailed purchase plan and finding the soonest availability. The atmosphere is comfortable and inviting. The sales associate was welcoming, efficient and helpful! The clothes are lovely and appealing. I left with a dress and a pair of shoes! Looking forward to the next visit!

I love this place! Employees always pleasant. My only dislike is the lack of XXtr large. Clothing doesn’t have much give and some of us need the little extra pull on top. Maybe it’s a good thing I spend less $$$!

Bring back all your colorful t-shirts. That’s what made downeast different. Just like other stores, white and black t-shirts. Before there were lots of different colors to go with different clothes.

Store has changed with new ownership. The customer service has gone way downhill. I tried to do a return that I had a receipt with. It had only been six days since my purchase but my credit card used to purchase the items was lost in that time. Even though I had the receipt they refused to refund my money and would only offer store credit. Losing a credit card is miserable enough but to have a company hold my money hostage because of it and refuse a return is just poor customer service. The clerk was just rude and unsympathetic about it.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this store!! The prices for the quality were amazing and the customer service was the best! When you go in ask for Kimberly because she goes above and beyond to help you create the most beautiful space and remain respectful of your budget. She even took the time to text me photos of products that were not on the showroom floor! I will definitely be a loyal costumer!!! 👍🏻

I absolutely love the new South Jordan store in the district. Unfortunately, I have been there twice with absolutely no customer acknowledgment. I had intentions of buying something there but the lack of courtesy the employees had both times was disappointing and made me decide to take my business elsewhere. In a world where you can buy everything online stores should be grateful for business.

The prices seam to have gone up from my past experiences. I liked when the store was combined with furniture and extra deals. It was a different experience than I used to have when shopping at downeast. They didn’t sell the undershirts I love it the clothing was beautiful!

Arrived super fast to the warehouse, exactly on time to what they expected. Packaged well. Looks even better in our room than it did in store. We shopped online for days. This bed is high quality at a STEAL of a price. There are little details we liked about this frame better than others. The hand welding rather than a sphere at each connection make the design even better.

Went into the Draper store, customer service was horrible. Super cold and unfriendly staff. (Seemed annoyed I was even asking) Was looking at a particular lamp, had a huge crack in it, and they said last one in the entire company could give me 5%discount.Said they checked all other stores and none were available. Went down to the Orem store and found the lamp and was interested in a sectional, employee was super helpful and went out of her way to tell me where I could find another.I would give 5 stars to the employee at the Orem store, but wouldn’t even give the Draper store 1 star because of their customer service.

I was excited about my order of 4 dining room chairs from the District DownEast store. I arrived at the store to pick them up only to find the delivery date from the warehouse had been pushed back. Kimberly was completely helpful in locating chairs for me to be able to have that day in time for Thanksgiving! We love our new chairs and so appreciate the helpful and gracious service 💛

Had great sales person—Aspen— help me choose a piece of furniture for my home. So kind and patient, answered questions, measured, answered more questions and then helped load it for me. I couldn’t be happier with the service or my entertainment center.

I have been frustrated with a sofa order We placed in January. When we placed the order, we were told it will take about 6 weeks. However, it is now week 8 and we have still not received our sofa. In addition, Down East has not been proactive in communicating with us our status of our order. We have now called the customer service line numerous times with most of the time reaching a busy signal. In the handful of times that we actually reach a customer service representative, we have been told that they will need to check with the sofa manufacturer and then call us back. However, to this day, we have never received a call back from them regarding the status of our order. With the amount we paid for the sofa, I would’ve expected greater customer service. I will definitely not recommend buying a sofa from Down East.

My boyfriend and I bought a house and needed quite a bit of furniture. Peter was absolutely amazing to work with! He helped us every step of the way, was extremely kind, knowledgable and helpful. He even called me to let me know the sets we were looking at had been marked down! Fantastic customer service, and we absolutely LOVE our furniture. It is very high quality and beautiful. Prices are very reasonable for the quality received. Would highly recommend purchasing their furniture and even more so working with Peter. Thanks Downeast, we will definitely be coming back for more!

I definitely have a love for Downeast. It’s a store that I visit often and I love to look at the beautiful furniture as well as the clothing. Your style is always fresh and relevant and I can always find just what I’m looking for for my home. The items that I have purchased with you are good quality, they last and they look absolutely wonderful in my home. As great as your products are what makes your store complete is the excellent girls that work there. They have become my friends and when I go in there they talk to me, they help me, they’re always cheerful and willing to do whatever they can for me. Upon choosing a sectional that we recently purchased we probably spent a good amount of time in the store visiting with the girls that worked there. They showed us many swatches. I loved all of the options of the different fabrics that you could choose and your throw pillows are absolutely beautiful. The time was taken to write things up so that we could make sure the sectional fit our home and everything would be just right. We also found two additional accent chairs that we purchased along with a coffee table. I am in love with my new furniture and could not be happier. Its where I but 90% of my staging furniture for my business as well as furniture for my own home. They get new items all the time, which keep me coming back.

Everyone always asked where my furniture is in my home and I love saying Downeast Home. I love love all that you have and the District store is the best. Kimberly and all the women in furniture are so amazing and I just ordered the feather down couches for our theater room for our basement and CANNOT wait. The staff makes you feel like you are at home and I feel they are friends and they make me want to work there to hang with them and tell everyone that walks in the Downeast has the best prices and quality! The pillows right now are to die for!

I love Downeast and all their clothes. Depending on the season, their selection can be a little hit-and-miss. However, I can almost always find something that I love and you can never go wrong with the clearance rack! I totally recommend them, but make sure you love what you buy because their return policy is kind of brutal. I was 2 days past the 30 day window, with the receipt and tags on, and they only gave back 50% of what I paid in in-store credit. I’ll still shop there in the future, but I’ll just be more stingy with my next purchase knowing that I won’t be able to return.

I bought the Paisley hutch and it was delivered on a Friday, damaged.Saturday I went into the store to discuss ordering a new hutch. Kimberly was fantastic! The South Jordan store is by far the best location! Service is over the top extraordinary. Megan has been the best salesperson I’ve ever dealt with. She’s helped me pick out several pieces of furniture for my new home, even texting me when new pieces came in which she knew would go well with my decor. I couldn’t be happier with the products I’ve purchased & the service which was provided. They’ll always be my first home shopping stop.

My boyfriend and I had recently came into this location to buy some clothes, and not only did we leave with a new wardrobe for myself and some things for him too, we also left with a new wood bed and memory foam mattress! All under $1000. I was seriously shocked. The price for the furniture is the best youll find for this high of quality. Definitely going back for more clothing and furniture purchases in the future!

Ive purchased outfits from DownEast for years! Theyre modest, quality, and cute! Ive bought great mission outfits here, and my family has even bought some discounted furniture for great prices! The staff at this DownEast is particularly helpful (Ive been to quite a few others). With their recently updated return policy (as opposed to just exchanges or in-store credit before) and other great perks, Ill remain a long-time DownEast customer.

Good selection of nice furniture. Weve bought several beds, tables and chairs from DownEast and couldnt be happier about the price and quality.The service however needs to be addressed. Ive been in many times and cant recall a time when someone greeted me as I walked in. I usually have to seek help. I came in to pick up a purchase and again, had to track down an employee. The staff is friendly and I know they can get busy and cant be everywhere always but it doesnt seem like theyre very well trained on paying attention to customers which Im sure costs them sales when people decide to walk about because of lack of service. Other than that, we love buying furniture from DownEast

This Is their best store!!! I wanted to surprise my wife with a new couch and the other store wasn’t willing to help me get the deal done but these guys wrapped it up and helped me load it! So freaking awesome! The 2 ladies & gentlemen that helped were awesome, go check them out!!!

I ordered a Feather Couch back on 3/10/18. They told me it might be up to a 3 month back order but they would call with updates. I hear nothing from them for several weeks. I keep asking for updates and nobody can give me any information on my purchase. I finally contact customer service in June and they say it will arrive in the warehouse on 6/22. I get my hopes up thinking they will be delivered in the next few days. I wait patiently. I finally get my first phone call ever that delivery is happening in 6/27. That date rolls around and I hear nothing. I call customer service and they dont even have information to give me. Finally they call back and say they will be delivered 7/6. I call on 7/5 because theyre supposed to set a delivery time and they didnt call. I call back and theyre delayed until 7/11. What kind of customer service is this? You cant even call when you have delayed my order 2-3 times. I have no trust for your company. I was surprised by the good reviews because my experience was very frustrating. Customer service did come through in the end and help me get the couch set I ordered. I just wish there had been better communication through the process.

I have never met staff that are so friendly and willing to help. They are there to help you find what you need, not trying to sell extra stuff. They are very knowledgeable of the products and it makes decision making easy! I will definitely be visiting again!

Love the furniture options, but I go here for the customer service and ease of purchasing quality products with helpful salespeople who are never pushy. Kimberly was amazing! She worked on my purchase relentlessly to help me finance the sofa on which my kids and I will build life-long memories! I have no personal ties to this company or anyone who works here.

I am very disappointedwith a purchase of a patio set i bought in 2016. I have only used it for 1 1/2 summers and already it has come apart. It is a wicker set and cost over $1700.00. We are meticulous in caring for it- it is covered at all times unless in use so we can keep dust off it. It is also kept in a covered area. There is glass top so there is no way for hands to mess with it. The wicker top is very brittle and is completey breaking off everywhere. It was a beautiful set but now it looks tattered. This is low quality and I can not recommend the Down east patio sets. My couch set from Target has held up perfectly for way less in cost.

Went above and beyond to help me and make me comfortable, they not only help me pick out gorgeous pieces for my home but also were super patient with my kids and understanding! My house is looking gorgeous and I am exited tongonback and pick out more pieces!

Tiffany helped us on the purchase of our mattress. She answered all the pros and con questions we had about the 10 inch foam mattress. She also sold us some great bamboo pillows. We love the mattress (because it has special cooling technique) and the pillows!! Thanks Tiffany for being amazing!!

I love this location, but todays visit really ticked me. There were two ladies (I did not catch their names) who kept taking the clothes I was going to try on out of the dressing room they ASSIGNED to me. I actually told them I was going to keep looking, and I had to tell them TWICE that the clothes they took from my dressing room and I was going to try them on. Once, thats absolutely fine, but TWICE, from the SAME people, it makes for an annoying visit. Tip: if the room is assigned, and the person has told you they are still looking around, DONT TAKE THE CLOTHES! Take them when they tell you they are DONE. On the bright side, I got two cute tops and the lady at the register was incredibly nice.

I bought a new king size mattress from DownEast at the district. Ava helped me and was so friendly and answered all my questions. I was worried about buying the mattress because it was such a low price, but Ive had it for almost a year and I absolutely love it. Its as good or better than the expensive brands.

Tiffany was so amazing! She helped me measure for desks and helped find chairs that would work for my space and everything. She even offered to carry everything out to my car. She was so helpful and creative because I needed a desk for such a small specific area that we ended up thinking out of the box and got a piece that wasnt a desk but worked perfectly!

I’ve gone to the store a few times and seen different sales people. They have all been very helpful and polite and they weren’t following us around trying to sell us everything.

I picked up the most amazing deals today! I was really impressed with the selection and love my new bedding!! The staff was really friendly and helpful. A+ shopping experience!

I had a customer service issue with this location and a piece of furniture I had purchased. I had ordered a replacement part for this piece of furniture and was told at the time that it would be no charge. Months and months later, after having to re-order this part 3 times and dealing with a new manager, I was told I would have to pay for the part now. An amount was agreed upon over the phone with this manager and when I went to pick up this part, she would not honor that agreed upon amount and ended up paying double that amount. Not only did I have to wait almost one year for the replacement part, but the verbal agreement was not honored. I dont believe this shows good customer service. I have purchased several pieces of furniture from this establishment and have spent thousand of dollars on these pieces and other products, but dont think I will be buying anything more from them in the future because of this situation. It is disappointing that a company will not stand behind their word. I am not impressed at all.

The managers at this store are always changing their return policies and trying to get every penny from us. I always have a much more positive experience at the other stores. The employees always seem stressed and the other day when I was in the store one of the managers was yelling at an employee in the middle of the store.Sad that I have been shopping there for about a year and now the store always seems so messy and cramped. Definitely wont be shopping at this location again.The older manager tried to offer me and some other customers a 40% off discount for writing a 5-star review. So corrupt.
