Summit had no problem installing the unit and did a great job!Even though I added a backup camera in they still completed the install early!Highly recommend them for you car and home needs!

Update: If these guys see an opportunity to make your experience with them better they will go out of their way to do so. The owner called an offered to fix the wiring issue below which was a result of my own lack of knowledge. Would highly recommend!I went in a couple of weeks ago to see what I could do to improve my existing audio set-up in my car. The employee in the show room was very helpful and stated that my amp wasnt providing enough power for the sub (which was 100% true, it was a cheap amp). He quoted me a properly sized amp/ bass knob/ install/ and tune. I bought the equipment and scheduled the install so my car could finally have a proper tune. The price was actually very reasonable, the amp was $50 less from them then anywhere online. When I picked it up I couldnt hear my sub. I messed around with the head unit and knob, even checked to see if the sub was still connected. I went back after work and found out that they could not increase the bass because the power wire for my last amp was now limiting the power to my new amp. I know its not that big of a deal but I really wish they would have told me up front. If they would have called me when they realized there was an issue I would have paid them to put a new wire in while they had the car. Now I just have another project and a tune that will be obsoleted in a matter of days.

What a great group of guys so friendly and helpful. I was really impressed with Chris. I brought them somebody else’s mistakes and they were able to fix them with no problem and in one day .I now have a remote start that works, rearview camera and a hands-free play radio with Bluetooth.

Quoted price for services twice. On arriving for appointment upselling at a much (much) higher price was generated. Basically I left and had the same service provided at their quoted price by another more professional installation business.

First time shopping with Summit Sound and Security and I was beyond happy with the work. They installed two 12 subs, alpine speakers, and an alpine stereo. I’m blown away with the quality of work and product! Extremely professional, polite, and enjoyable experience to work with. It is not a cheap place to shop by any means, but their price is very relative to service and quality of their products! Will be shopping with them in the future for my car audio needs.

I went in to get subwoofer placed in my car. I was assisted in the process, put my security deposit down and scheduled my appointment. I even made sure I was off because I was told it would take the whole day. I went in as scheduled and was requesting an Uber to get back home when I was told that they couldn’t perform the service that day due to my car automatic noise cancellation and would have to do research before trying to install the equipment. The next day I was told they didn’t want to do it and risk messing something up which was understandable. I would also get a refund for my deposit. I took my car somewhere else to only find out that I didn’t even have the noise cancellation that they claimed I had and did the job in less than two hours. I am very displeased with the laziness and the fact that they didn’t even bother to check to see if my car in fact did have ANC instead of assuming it did based on what type of car I had.Update: Trying to avoid issues that don’t apply to my car since I don’t even have ANC. A simple inspection would’ve told that. Your response to what happened doesn’t even make sense.

My parents bought me a remote start for Christmas, we didn’t realize that my car already had a start on it. They called to let us know and after a little confusion/ miscommunication, they made everything right by fully refunding and getting my car in and out in one day. I had Summit Sound install a Compustar remote start and security system on my vehicle on 08-21-20. As I am not local to the area I had to wait while they installed the system. The store and waiting area were both very clean and the staff was very friendly. They had sanitizing areas throughout the store, which by today’s normal was very reassuring. The install took the time they told me it would, which gave me time to get some work done while waiting. Once completed they delivered the vehicle to me with a thorough walk thru of the features of the system. At checkout they were friendly and appreciative of my choice to shop with Summit Sound. Great experience from arrival to departure.

Hello everyone I decided to give this audio shop a try and I really like there work and prices! I ended up getting a 12 inch alpine type r sub in a snl box with a matching alpine Amp and I couldnt be any happier! I was very dissatisfied with the installation of my car stereo system by Summit Sound & Security.On the first day after the installation on my Mercedes SLK:1. The mic wire fell out onto the windshield.2. The wire to the backup camera was wound around the hardtop opening/closing mechanism in the trunk and the top could not be raised or lowered on my convertible.3. The backup camera was installed far to the left side of the car, pointing straight out with no sight to the ground below the bumper, and the guide lines were not adjusted and could not see the right side of the car it was installed so far to the left. I reinstalled to a proper position and angle, and adjusted the guidelines myself.4. The steering wheel radio controls were not able to be installed.The entire installation was done carelessly and without quality control. No recompense was offered.

Told me I needed new wires ran for a cd player to be installed in my car. Said it was because I had a certain kind of factory hookup. I told the guy over and over that I didnt as I know my car like the back of my hand. Long story short, told me 900 bucks for the wiring. I took my car home and did it myself for free. I did not have what he told me I had and I knew that. Always heard good things about this place, but I ALMOST got robbed. Not going back.

Got my windows done yesterday and I am beyond pleased with the results. My mom has gotten hers done by another place (which unfortunately they screwed up her sun strip) she went in and talked to them. They got her in today and fixed it for her and it’s 10x better. I have been extremely unlucky to purchase two used BMWs with expensive stereo issues. Both times Ive been able to rely on SUMMIT SOUND to find a solution to the problem and get me something that is far superior to my OEM or stock options. Usually also much cheaper as well. I will forever be a customer of them and wouldnt dream of letting anyone else do aftermarket work to my vehicles. They truly are the best in our area and very worth the price to have things done right the first time.

I appreciate the customer service, that is hard to find these days and I would rather give business to a local shop like this than online. Unbelievable TVs and home theater. I used this place in 2011 for my Camry. Just bought another Camry & wanted them to do the Tint again. I will not be taking it to them to do. I cant get an appointment to do the car windows. Was told I can only Drop off on Saturday no waiting & will take all day. If i made an appointment for a weekday it will be done in 4 hours because they will make sure to do only Tints that day. really disappointed with this company. I want to change my review. Summit Sound took care of me with my window tinting. They even made me feel comfortable by letting me choose the movie to watch while I was waiting. I will still recommend Summit Sounds to anyone who needs Auto or Home upgrades.

The store is outfitted with quite a bit of automobile accessories, but it does have a smaller home theater setup in it. I was looking more for some home audio and video distribution solutions and it wasnt what I was hoping. Definitely seems like their bread and butter is automobile modification.

Ive been taking my car here for years, as it relates to car audio.They can do anything from basic installs, to complex installs (so long as you indicate exactly what you want out of the process). As someone that used to work on my own car audio when I was younger, these guys care to do a good job. Make sure you clearly communicate your expectations, if youre in a similar position to myself.Roger, Andy, and Bob are all solid individuals that clearly love what they do, and the quality of works shows as a result.

Friendly and accommodating staff. Work was done fast and price was great! Needed a roof rack for our new 2017 Ford Escape before leaving on a trip. They were able to get the roof rack in within two days and installed it the next day! Looks good and worked great on our trip! Customer service here cant be beat.

So to my pleasant surprise SSS did a near perfect job on my tint. I had a remote starter put on my vehicle and I absolutely love it. The guys there were very informative and courteous. They started on my car right away, they have a cool theater room too! I will be going there again!

Came in with an already heavily modified sound system that I bought with the car, there was many problems with the set up I had and my head unit was bricked due to a security issue. Summit sound took care of me and didn’t even charge a diag fee. I had them install a new alpine touch screen head unit and replace some cables and they got everything to sound fantastic. They had a theatre room to watch movies while you waited which I took advantage of with my girlfriend (cute date idea lol). They updated me and showed me every step of the way and they bundled the wires to look very neat and accessible. 10 star rating if I could. I had a small issue after the installation and they were more than happy to take care of the issue that ended up being something goofy. Thanks again gentlemen great job! 👌🏼

I took my newly purchased car to Summit Sound and Security for window tint knowing that my dog rides shotgun everyday. I honestly believed Id have to get the passenger window redone every year from the dogs need to flip out at every person, squirrel, or piece of trash on the road. 5/5 Could not recommend more. The guys over there set me up with awesome quality tint all around my car. Even put in LED headlights to match the rest of the housings. I underestimated how long it would take to actually tint the windows and didn’t figure out a ride to drop off my car, but the guys there got me setup with their movie theater and a couple movies while I waited! Freaking awesome, man! I’ll definitely be coming back whenever I need anything tint/sound related done again!

Took great care of our vehicle while it was in their care and went over and above in helping repair an issue that was not what the car was even there for!! I wanted to get a backup camera for my car and they had a great selection with helpful staff. I liked the AX1000 so much I got one for another car at the same time. Way more than a backup camera with complete radio, Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay. One vehicle was a bit of a challenge with the faceplate but they did a great custom job.

Roger did a great job educating me and recommending the perfect solution for our whole house wireless and AV needs. Ron and Jason from the installation team were very professional, neat and thorough in completing the job while answering all our questions before they left. We can operate all our equipment without the clutter of multiple remotes. I highly recommend getting a quote from Summit before deciding on another installer.

I arrived early for my appointment and the owner and his staff was more accommodating to make sure all work to be done was to my preferences. The window tint was done meticulously. I will be a customer for life.

I took my car here to get subs installed, and every member of the staff I talked to was extremely professional while at the same time not making me feel bad for having to wait at the store for the whole day. They even set me up with movies in the theater room they have, and it was great because a lot of auto places would have been unwelcoming if I had to wait at the store for almost 8 hours, but summit sound made me feel welcome and not at all like I was being a burden. I drove 45 minutes to get the work done and I have to say, I’ll absoluely be going to them for anything I need car wise. Thank you for all your help!

Great job tinting my windows on my challenger

I’ve had three cars tinted at Summit Sound over the years and each one was great quality. Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. For window tint they are the best in town.

I had a remote starter installed by them.....they said it would take 1 hour to 2 hours top to install it.....I waited in the waiting room from 230 pm until 745pm for them to finish installing it. I was furious having to wait all that time....I would of gave them a 5 star rating if it wasnt for that long wait....they could of at least gave me a discount for the mishap to keep a satisfied customer.

I own an auto repair shop in Streetsboro and have used these guys for a number of remote starter installations. We can do them, but its not something we specialize in and our customers can save some money by having Summit Sound do it. Every one they have done for us has worked flawlessly. I have and will continue to recommend them to my customers.

Summit sound is amazing! Had remote start and heated seat installed. They were great in working with my schedule. I had to go back out for a cosmetic fix and they werent upset or put out. I would continue to go to them everytime I needed something. Just wish they were closer to the Westside.

While my first time there was not the greatest experience, the manager Bob quickly responded to me and apologized for any issue I had. I then decided to come back and purchase more items. After having some install issues ( not from the store) I called the store back and spoke to bob about it. And he managed to find time to squeeze me in and fixed all the problems my car had! Even worked on it outside in the rain. And allowed me to assist in small ways. The staff is very personable and professional. Every issue I had was resolved and handled in a timely manner. I will be using these guys should any more future projects for my car come up.

I called to inquire about the cost of an automatic start for an Audi.The man who answered was very rude and indignant, stating that they dont service Audis and none of them have remote starters. Was I supposed to know that? I was referred to them by Quenton at Rad Air. NEVER AGAIN!!!! Im allergic to rudeness.

There was a mistake made with part of the installation of a back up camera I purchased. But I would hire this company again in a split second. Why? Because they took responsibility and fixed the issue and went out of their way to accommodate me. This is the type of company that deserves a lot of business. Brought our 15 Subie Impreza hatch for tints, they are very detailed, left no bubbles behind. They also use high quality tint. The fellas were nice enough to stay after-hours on a Friday to finish the job which I appreciated a lot. Will be bringing my Volvo here in the spring for darker tints. Perhaps a little more pricey but the best quality in the area.

My experience here was fantastic. I walked in on a Friday morning asking for a full sound system install and was able to get my car back Saturday afternoon. I had all four for speakers, a new headunit, an amp and two subwoofers installed in an amazingly short period of time. Worst experience ever! For the past year Ive had there wonderful compustar alarm installed its gone of countless times in the middle of the night! The installer didnt even know how to work it. I told them not to put the flashing light in my new dashboard and they did it anyways. my last van had a hornet and never had problems like this one. Customer service for compustar never answers. This place is a joke. Save yourself my headaches and Go somewhere else!

This shop does Shoddy Work. I purchased an Overhead DVD player for my Ford Flex and they were supposed to wire it into the stock auxillary input. When we first went to pick it up, they didnt even wire to the auxillary input, and instead had it setup to run through an FM modulator which had a ton of interference from local radio stations. We took it back to have it wired correctly, which we had already paid for, and the pictures show how the vehicle was re-delivered to us. I apologize for the dirty vehicle, but it is the middle of winter here in Cleveland. Bottom line, they do bad work, and when you call on them to fix it, they fix it with bad work. I will never take another car there and I wouldnt advise anyone to. I would take it to another Alpine dealer that cares about what they are delivering. Just so no one at Summit Sound thinks this is fake, I am attaching my name to this post. Thanks.-Jerrod Workman

Great experience! I went to Summit Sound for auto security needs & received very professional/courteous service. Not once did I feel the up-sell push to buy more then Id intended. This business sports a very comfortable waiting area, complete with guest wi-fi. The only downside was that I found myself wanting one of those lovely high-res tv sets that they also happen to sell, lol. (Wow ... a pleasant waiting area, complemented by movies shown on large, beautiful screens with surround sound ... but I digress!)

Installed audio in my motorcycle fairing radio was mounted great but speaker grills were mounted using rubber and vibrated off called and they fixed it right up for me.
