I was unable to acquire the parts I wanted for my build and upgrade due to the most difficult and unusual market I have ever seen. AVADirect came highly recommended from a friend I trust and AVADirect never let me down! Every time I called, I was given dedicated and honest service, the pricing is fair and the build was beyond all my expectations. The technician completed the build with enthusiast level detail. There were some minor issues with the Corsair fan controller but that was most likely due to vibration of the shipping loosening some of the cables. I was up and running with the system with only a few corrections within 15-20 minutes! The packaging for shipping provided more than enough protection to ensure a safe delivery of the computer. This is my third custom computer with AVADirect. The builds have always been a satisfying experience, and they always exceed my expectations. My latest build was my first experience with AMD. Previously my choice was Intel, however, Im completely happy with this new choice!

I needed a new trading computer in January. After spending several weeks researching parts, I discovered that some of the parts I wanted were not in stock due to shortages. I also did not know if I had the time or experience to build a computer myself. So I decided to order one from AVADirect. The shopping experience was a blast and customer support helped with with my questions. After I designed and ordered my system, AVADirect took care of everything including obtaining a very hard-to-get graphics card. When the system arrived, I was very impressed with the build and the excellent cable management. I have been using my machine for 6 months now without any problems. Previously, I have purchased several computers from CyberpowerPC and Dell. The quality of the AVADirect build is superior to builds I have received from those companies and the price of the machine was about the same as if I had just purchased the parts myself assuming I could even find them.

Very, very helpful in getting exactly what I wanted out of a computer. I wanted something very custom and the salesperson worked with me to get every part right. Box came with enough packing material that I could have fired it out of a cannon into a brick wall and the PC inside would have been fine. Its been months and no issues yet.

AVADirect primarily offers custom-built computers, though all I needed recently was a stock laptop build with no replacements or upgrades. Even still, with my simple, straightforward purchase, I appreciated their attentive service and quick replies. My CC initially denied my purchase, which required some back-and-forth with AVADirect, but they patiently worked that out. My laptop was also backordered (supplies of all kinds of computer parts are slow from manufacturer these days!) but they gave me regular updates as I asked for them.Their packaging of my new laptop was incredibly robust! Gave me great confidence that the computer would survive even the worst treatment the shipping company could give it. And indeed its been a fantastic computer. And the next new big box I purchase will likely be a custom machine from AVADirect.

This is my second custom computer bought from AVADirect and I have been so very pleased with both. The first computer was purchased October of 2012 and it is still in use today. That is what prompted me to come back to AVA Direct for another new computer. They have the best service and support.

Customer service was very helpful in answering all questions that I had and kept me up to date on the status of my order when my order was delayed because of availability of the graphics card.I also appreciated that on their website they specified which brand of each component was available (EVGA, ASUS, etc) and showed the difference in price between the options. I liked knowing exactly which components were available.Computer was packaged up well and I received it with no damage.

Poor service, good hardware. I bought a laptop from AVADirect last summer. This has been an excellent computer however they sent me the wrong AC adapter. This meant that my computer was functioning at 2/3 capacity for nearly a year. I finally figured out the problem (who expects the wrong ac adapter) and contacted customer service. After 6 weeks of calls and emails I was told I would need to pay to ship the AC adapter back to the manufacturer. This is a ridiculous response to a problem they caused. I really like my computer but the customer service and technical support experience from AVA has been severely lacking.

Ordered a PC in March 2021. No updates or contact a month later. I email them asking if they think they will get any GPUs soon, and they say maybe in a month. 3 weeks later they ask if Id be ok with an XFX instead of ASUS, and I say ok. I get the computer and it crashes constantly while running nothing. All drivers as new as possible. They sent me a reference AMD card with vendor ID code 1002, and it was manufactured in October 2020. They sent me a bad GPU that was probably returned by someone else.

I felt like a kid in a candy store building (in my mind) my new computer from AVAs enormous array of available component options, and I love the finished product (AND Im very grateful that THEY actually built it, not me). I expect I will buy my next computer from them too.

They were up front about any delays (GPUs are impossible to get these days and I was able to get a machine from them with a 3080 in about 8 weeks). The build quality was way better than I anticipated and for the minor issues I have had, the support has been good. Highly recommend since you can actually pick and choose ALL of your parts!

Wow. Im so glad I went with AVADirect for my custom build. I visited other sites, such as iBuyPower and Cyber Power PC, Digital Storm, and several other PC builder websites. Honestly, some of these site (but not all of them) had better actual web pages (better navigation, better aesthetics, more responsive), but in the end, I really dont care about the actual website. What really matters is my final PC build, at a fair price. I wanted to put together the PC of my dreams, and AVADirect delivered. With those other PC builder websites, the lack of customization, or in some cases, exorbitant prices, meant I would either have to pay for an overpriced product or accept a product that lacked my desired components. I spent around 4 or 5 months researching every single component in my PC build, and I did not have to compromise whatsoever with the component selection on AVADirect. In fact, when the air cooler I wanted was not listed on the customization page, a sales rep informed me that they could simply order the air cooler for me and include it in my build anyway. I designed my build to be fairly high-end, and AVADirect treated it as such. The shipping packaging was robust, and the system build quality was excellent (the cable management in particular was immaculate). The only things I cant comment on, because I didnt interact with them, are tech support and customer support. The people I spoke with were in the sales department, and they were professional, knowledgeable, personable, easy to talk with, and not sales-pushy. They also didnt sound like I was talking to a robot, which I appreciated greatly. I never write feedback this glowing about a company. Partly, this is because a product will have a long lifespan, and something could go wrong at any time; it only takes one thing to have a bad experience, and Im a bit of a pessimist in this regard. But so far, everything has been perfect, and AVADirect enabled me to get the PC of my dreams in an environment where good components are in short supply (like the glorious RTX 3080 that they procured for me). Because of those factors, I am incredibly grateful that AVADirect exists. Job well done people.

Incredible amounts of customization available, more than any other builder I tried. And you dont have to go with garish, builder-specific cases and/or RGB everywhere. You pretty much choose from a list of (almost) all parts out there and they tell you if theyll work together, then put it together for you.My build ended up being delayed a ton because of the GPU shortage, but I got a fantastic build for a reasonable price. Customer support was very responsive and also very technically competent.All in all, would happily order from them again.

Purchased from AVA Direct in the middle of the GPU shortage. I went in knowing and expecting to not receive a computer until August at the earliest, and was fine with that. I ordered in April, and through the help of AVA Directs fantastic customer service, ended up getting my PC in May. Its an absolutely amazing machine and pretty much flawless in its build quality. I was blow away with the care and attention to detail they put into the machine, and were very responsive in helping me get the machine I wanted in a reasonable time frame. Great buying experience and if I do ever buy a prebuilt again, it will be through AVA Direct.

I was quoted 2 months for a 3060 Ti prebuilt that I ordered in March of this year. I thought two months was a long time to wait when they take your money upfront but in this market I figured you do what you have to. Over 3 months later, I still haven’t received my order and it still says processing. They took my money and haven’t sent me anything 3 months later. I’m being told that in order to get my money back they will take 10% to “restock” the parts they never even received to build my computer. Don’t charge upfront if you can’t follow through with your timelines. I want my money back or my PC right away. This is ridiculous.

Honestly AVA is the best bet if you are going to order a PC. They offer way more customization options than most builders, many components are cheaper (meaning they dont gouge the prices too much during a shortage), and they have some solid customer service. My one and only gripe is the hefty restocking fee you are charged with if you decide to change your build after you order it, however this is standard for the majority of builders so I cant honestly complain about that either.

AVADirect delivered an unexpected custom PC experience. When shopping for a new custom gaming PC I considered and evaluated a number of builders. I selected AVADirect due to the flexibility and breadth of customization options, including the ability to totally skip out on lighting and aggressive design options while still having a sharp looking computer. What sold me on the company was the quality of the sales experience. I highly recommend working with a sales rep before making a purchase. Kyle was able to help me optimize and balance my build to fit my budget, without compromising on quality. The build time was rather long, but I respect the challenges sourcing parts and the time AVA spends testing each part and the full build. If you arent going to build yourself and dont mind spending a little extra over the ibuypower and cyberpowerpcs of the world, AVADirect can provide a great experience.

After extensive research I decided t o have AVADirect make my new dream machine. At no point did I ever feel like I was being pressured to make a decision by my outstanding agent, Kyle. He seemed to have my best interests at heart which made this transaction such a delight!

I placed my order in November and it finally has shipped 4 months later. First, either the mail delayed or they lost my first payment. Two weeks later they said they received a second check but it was never returned to me as they said they would do. They changed my SSD to prevent a backorder without asking first, then did nothing for nearly two months waiting on a video card. Finally, I called them fed up and they told me that if I kept that video card they didnt know when my order would ship, even after 3 months. I asked them for other options and they didnt have anything equivalent. After they wanted to either downgrade my card or charge me hundreds extra, and with all the time that had passed, I asked about canceling. Despite not being able to fulfill my order, they wanted to charge me a fee. Upon asking to talk to a manager, they magically found another card that was still over a hundred dollars more, but I conceded. Then the computer failed testing and was delayed again. Finally, and probably the last straw to convince me to take time to write a review, the promos offered with the order back in November were not honored by the company and they blamed the manufacturers rather than taking responsibility for taking 4 months to fulfill an order even though I expressed this concern well before they expired. Maybe it was the perfect storm, but they should at least try to make it right.

Bought a new heavy-duty configuration for Lightroom and Photoshop. Got friendly, expert help with configuration of system including SSD drives, hard drive, choice of motherboards, system cabinet and cooling, and GPU. System worked perfectly upon delivery and we are very happy with it! What we especially like about AVA Direct is the ability to get expert sales help, or expert technical support, from knowledgeable people in Ohio, who really seem to care about our satisfaction. For the life of the system! We are repeat customers!

These days the easiest way to get a Ryzen CPU or any GPU for that matter is to go with a prebuilt PC supplier. AvaDirects customer support is honestly amazing and they have pretty fair prices (depending on the part, its anywhere from 5 to 15% above MSRP). Anyways, I highly recommend going with them if youre struggling to find PC parts or if you dont have a whole lot of time to build your rig.

Great Selection of Parts and Great Customer Service

I bought a $10k workstation from these guys 3 years ago. 1 year ago I had an issue, so I drove from Columbus to Cleveland to drop it off to them. They replaced every part on the computer as part of the troubleshooting and finally isolated the problem. The computer was shipped back. All the parts, labor, and shipping were replaced for free. I highly recommend them and can attest to their great customer service. After their 3Y warranty ends, they still provide free labor but will only charge the cost of parts to repair.

Overall a positive experience for my last purchase. I actually bought a system from them back in Feb 2008. They shipped a PC without testing the memory and one of the DIMMs was bad which caused a lot of back and forth with their tech support. This time, I decided to give them another chance since CyberPowerPC wants to force liquid cooling down your throat. I like the ability to customize EVERYTHING and AVADirect delivers here. A lot of other web sites limit you to about 5 to 10 choices per part but AVADirect has hundreds. Two small issues: there is no way on their website to reset a forgotten password because their version of Captcha is outdated and expired. I had to create a new e-mail address just to get into their system and then their Paypal payment method got messed up, so I had to contact customer service to do a end run around that problem. When I got the box from Fedex: the bottom was sagging open. They double boxed it and everything was perfectly fine (no damage), but they need to use some extra tape on the bottom to strengthen the adhesive bond.Would buy again from them.

Really bad experience with these people. REALLY bad. STAY AWAY. You have been warned.
