We were in the Cleveland area for a couple of nights. Most of the reviews were all very positive. The staff was very friendly and attentive. You didn’t have just one waiter or waitress, you had all of them! They all pitched in with coffee or any other needs you might have. The food was excellent, large portions, fast turn around time. We will certainly visit again on our next trip to Cleveland.
Absolutely wonderful food... only thing is.. I just tried calling 7 times to place an order, then decided just to drive there and place an order and theyre closed Mondays now.. so Id advise to update hours.. otherwise best breakfast food around!!
Wow!! This place is amazing!! I had their eggs Benedict with sausage patties in place of ham, hash browns with onion. The eggs were perfectly poached, the hollandaise sauce was very tasty and the hashbrowns were crispy just like I like them! The staff sanitized the tables after customers left. This is a great place! Will for sure be back when Im in Twinsburg!
Cleveland clinic was my destination but this restaurant was the top of the day I have to say I had the burger wish I would’ve got the bigger one shrimp basket for my man And a French dip love the people love the food it’s a must stop
My husband and I are always looking for places to eat with gluten free options and this wonderful diner offered many choices. We were fortunate to meet Bob, the original owner, who seems very well known and liked by all. Our amazing waitress, Jennifer, was not only knowledgeable about the gluten free options but had an awesome bubbly personality. If you are looking for friendly people with great food and an all around great atmosphere then this is where you want to visit. Thank you to the kitchen staff as well!!! The best gluten free pancakes and waffles we have ever had!!!
Great food reasonably priced and you got a great service to sit in the side I will definitely go back there I just wish it was closer to my house

Sure the food is good, but closing on Mondays and not updating any online info for your customers caused us to waste a 50 mile drive. Google maps, Apple Maps, the fresh start diner website, etc… all online info said you were open, alas you were not. Thanks for that!

Our family went to this diner for the first time today. Their breakfast food was good. I am told that the corned beef hash is lacking seasoning/flavor. Otherwise, no complaints. They are pretty reasonably priced. $60 fed 5 people. The staff was great.

We were in the area & decided to try this diner. There were lots of cars in the parking lot, which is always a good sign. We got quick & friendly service, excellent coffee, good food & the prices are reasonable. Im in customer service so Im always aware of that. Here, everyone made sure we had what we need & never rushed us. Kudos to Dan & his staff, you could be examples for others!

This place is consistently delicious. The staff is friendly, and the quality of food is better than your average diner-style restaurant—think real maple syrup and freshly ground coffee. It can get pretty busy on weekends so come early if you have a group. The lunch counter makes it easy if you’re by yourself (or a pair) to get a seat and get served quickly.
Great food, friendly staff, fast service! Has a smalltown, family vibe to it. We absolutely loved it! We ordered our food and we had it within 10 minutes. (Yes it was delicious!)The staff was unbelievably happy and supported each other.My favorite part was hearing the cooks hooting and hollering in the back when you rang the tip bell (yes you can tip the cooks) I recommend this place to anyone looking to get away from the big chains or just wanting a nice relaxing place to eat. Great diner! Busy as all heck.... but hey at least you know the foods good! That being said thier food is a home run for sure with kids to adults! Love coming here! I use to go with my Grandpa as a kid and now that I have my own family we come here. My son and husband love it too!!! My husban also came here as a kid. Gotta love this cozy place. Dont forget to look at the pictures on the wall as you enter the front door. 😉

Didn’t even know this place existed until my fiancé and I were looking for a new place to have brunch. Very small and retro (a bit outdated) but the service and food was wonderful. We had a very friendly waitress and everything tasted fresh and delicious. Prices are reasonable. Just as an FYI, this is not the place to go if you are looking for quiet dining. This place gets busy around lunch which is when we went and it was a Sunday. Overall, we were pleased with our experience and will definitely return.

Nice little diner with a friendly staff. Had a breakfast special. Think eggs Benedict with guacamole, crumbled bacon, and home fries on the side. Yum! Wife insisted on raspberry breakfast roll with lemon icing. Homemade for them by a lady who simply likes to bake. Awesome!6/12/18 UPDATE: here again. Same eggs Benedict (delicious). No bakery anymore... lady is sick.

Its a fantastic little diner! If youre looking for pancakes bigger than your head then is this the place for you. They have a lot of delicious breakfast and lunch options. The staff is very kind. Hint - leave a tip for the cooks and youre in for a surprise! Would definitely recommend you try this place out.

This is that great neighborhood diner with good food and friendly atmosphere. One of the unique features is the cooks tip jar. If your meal meets or exceeds your expectations send the cooks a tip and a bell is rung to tell them. The cooks will hoot and holler thanking you. Stop by and enjoy.

This place is in a Time Warp and thats a good thing. Give a separate tip to the cooks and theyll growl like animals. The breakfast potatoes remind me of diners that were closed eons ago. And the pancake is so big you only want one. This is a very special, wonderful place for breakfast anytime! I still havent tried their lunch menu but Im going to.
TooHigh never had french toast that was so thick turnkey sausage very good and the same can be said about the coffee staff is very nice I rang like bell after leaving tip for cooks but am not impressed with the cooking skill sets

Even though the atmosphere isnt the greatest, I love little local breakfast diners. The breakfast has usually always been great. Weve been here many times and would continue to come back.You can usually find a wait to get in on the weekends, but that just means the place is good.

Fresh Start Diner is the Gold Standard against which all diners should be measured. The menu has a great variety of all-american items for breakfast. Portions are plenty, the coffee is delicious (and always topped up), and the service is unmatched.We used to travel 45 minutes to enjoy this place. Now were only 15 minutes away. Yea!!Try this place. You wont regret it.
Fresh Start is an interesting restaurant in that its actually a fun place. The food and service are outstanding. Very casual and extremely released. Servers are exceptionally friendly.
