We looked at probably 8 places, 300+ slabs of granite and quartzite. I was blown away by Daniel Konrads knowledge of stones and the beautiful granite and quartzites! Beware when purchasing quartzite - make sure you are purchasing the real deal - some are sold as quartzite, but are really a marble (softer product, stains more easily). Daniel even had photos of our stone being mined in Brazil! Cant be more happy with my kitchen! No offense to anyone who has black granite, but it showed every crumb and water spot, and I was tired of wiping and polishing. The stone we picked made the kitchen so light and has movement and beauty. Highly recommend D. Old Granite!

Unlike everyone else, D Old just sells natural stone. The owner, Daniel, spent a lot of time with us and obviously knows alot about the various stones and their origin.
