Store was clean, but you put the sign inside the mall stating where the only register is where it was not visible. Going through the entrance you see info about covid. You would have to see through manicon on the left and be purposely looking for a message on the back of register also to the left. We walked all over for a register. A man in jewelry said he couldnt ring us up. When we found the ONE register, everyone in line was complaining. I left unhappy, it was a horrible experience.

We had a wonderful shopping experience. The store was fully stocked with quality fashionable merchandise. The store was organized and had a great layout. There were wonderful items to choose from and array of colors and sizes. The checkout line was long but moved quickly. Destiny was so professional, polite, and courteous. She neatly packed my purchases and was attentive. She was checking out customers twice as fast as other associates while remaining professional. We didnt feel hurried and she was so patient with us. I wanted another item in a different color and she recommended online purchases. Destiny is a champion for senior citizens. She entered my info and product info with amazing speed and accuracy. She greeted us with a smile, she made eye contact, handled our purchases with care, and she thanked us for our purchase. Destiny treated us like valued customers. Upon arrival, other customers in the parking lot hurriedly entered the store and I now understand why....the sale prices were fantastic!!!

When there is a long line of shoppers standing for a long time is very hard on older folks. A chair or two near checkout would be very nice.

A great JCPenney to shop for whatever you need that JCPenney happens to sell. This location is clean, organized, and has friendly service. I couldnt complain about this store if I tried, nor do I have much more to say about this, so Ill share a story about this store:Once, back in 1991, I was shopping with my dad in this store. We were in the jeans section, and there was a little TV playing a Levis ad, on loop. It was for their large style jeans, and the commercial had a reggae song about livin large. Fast forward to the modern era, and I am able to find that ad on YouTube. So, what I do is I enter Penneys from the north entrance and cue up the ad on my phone so I can share the joy. I do this every year at least once.

DORA, stylist in the salon, provided a perfect cut and style. I was very pleased she listened to my request and exceeded my expectations. I will definitely book another appointment with Dora when I visit Tyler. Many thanks to Dora for lifting my spirits.

Christian in the Mens Department is awesome!!! He was a huge help in selecting a mens dress shirt and tie for my friends 11 year old son who needed to attend a wedding. This was a challenging task and Christian was extremely kind, patient and helpful to find the perfect shirt. It is apparent that being 11 years old can be difficult. Too grown up for youth sizes and almost grown up enough for mens sizes. Thank you Christian for your help.

I purchased a shirt for $45 on 5/19/21 and wore it 5/20/2021, washed it 5/23/21 and hung it to dry, was going to wear it again on the 24th but found small holes in the left side of the shirt. Took it back to the not so friendly associate 0615, whom told me since I washed it ONCE I could not return it, even though it is defective after one wash. Company policy says so. Now I have a $45 dollar shirt I wore once with holes in it. The brand is Ryegrass, cute to but clearly cheap material. Shame on you JC Penney, its not like I tried to return it a month after I purchased it. I will be looking for holes from now on, and I sure will remember not to tell them I washed it once!

Great sale going on this week. Was able to stock up on seven outfits for less than fifty dollars today. Had knee surgery a while back. Sort of house bound. Wow! Many years have past since I was in a JC penny store. I found what I was looking for that I could not find elsewhere. And was able to purchase other items on sale. Personnel were very friendly and ready to assist. I plan to go back for more.

I never write reviews, but I feel like this should be addressed. This was truly the worst customer service experience I have ever had. I would not recommend doing curbside pick-up. I put in my order at 6:30 PM on 12/23 and it said it would be ready within 2 hours. The order wasn’t ready. When I called the next morning, the girl helping me couldn’t find my order in their system. We live far from Tyler and it was inconvenient to drive back into Tyler on Christmas Eve. When we asked to cancel this morning we were told we could. Then we got an email saying the order was ready for pick-up later in the day. The manager told me we couldn’t cancel our order since it was through PayPal. Ridiculous.

Associate Patii was awful as she seemed to be in a really bad mood when checking us out with an attitude. Customer service from her part was awful when we mention she has missed typed the rewards phone number until another associate came and check us out instead.

Not good. Dont think lady knew what she was doing. Was trying to get glasses at the vision part. The lady didnt even try to sell me any because she couldnt pull up my insurance and I do have it because I called while I was there sad!!

I love Penneys clothing bargains! I was a little disappointed that they still dont have a larger selection of fall and winter clothing. And also Ill be glad when they finally go back to their regular shopping hours. Their shortened hours make it harder for some of us to shop. This is hard since they are my favorite clothing store and I need a new wardrobe due to major weight loss.

Not too crowded for the start of the Christmas season. Lots of good deals and I received $140 off my purchase today just for applying for a JC Penney card. Thats a win in my book.

Getting their credit card has helped me with school and work clothes. I am able to make a minimum payment and pay out as needed. This has come in handy as Im replacing my kitchen accessories and home accents. They offer rewards in the form of $5 and $10 increments monthly. Discounts are great when you reach platinum and gold status. Quality clothes and brand names including Nike, Adidas, Reebok and Dallas Cowboys.

I needed a business suit at the last moment ran into JCPenney and found this wonderful associate named Ms. Nicole. I explained what I needed and she immediately took me to the business section and started pulling out items. I took them to the dressing room and started trying them on when I heard Ms. Nicole calling for me, she had more items. I really liked the dress she selected but needed a larger size, she saidno problemand was back in a flash. I tried it on and it was prefect. Did I mention this was at 8:00 PM and they were closing at 9:00; with Ms. Nicoles assistance I was checked out by 8:33 and she helped me save 25% on my purchase. Thank you Ms. Nicole for your time and attention, you are the epitome of customer service. I will be calling your manager.

On May 28, 2019, I was most privileged to have the help of Sales Assistant Flo Jones. She was very kind in granting my request for help in the Lingerie Department. I would have been totally confused as to what fit properly without her knowledge and years of experience. How greatly I appreciated her expertise. Congratulations JCPenney for hiring such a fine employee!

Attempted to go to this business, today, I verified store hours via your automated phone system and online which stated Sunday 12-6. When we arrived the temporary store hours posted also reflect 12-6. There was no signage to indicate the store was closing early. When we walked in, an employee immediately yelled at us that they were closing at 3 (it was already 330 approx. Which means they should have either posted signs or locked the doors. When I called the store after this event, I was told that they would get me a store manager to speak to about the situation. They left me on hold for 20 min without checking back with me. I decided that I was wasting time and that it would be better spent warning others that may intend to come here.

My grandmother went into the JCPenney Salon today, and they would not honor her coupon. The lady working the reception desk was very rude and unprofessional. You do not treat a 77 year old woman the way she told me you did. I will personally be calling the corporate office and complaining. Do not go to the Salon Inside this JCPenney.

I had a nice experience in the glasses department. The lady was very helpful and wanted to get me the right kind of frame that I needed for my lenses. She did not try to just make a sale on expensive frames.
