I love this beautiful shop. The owner repaired a lamp for me that was custom made at another lamp shop. It was done in one hour! I appreciate the personal service.

It truly is amazing what a new lamp shade can do! I had three outdated, albeit beautiful lamps that are now perfectly contemporary! Thanks to Jean and her eye for design! The shop is packed with any size, shape, and color shade you can imagine along with incredible accessories and one of a kind lamps. Jean and Lester also do quick repairs and can transform almost anything into a unique lamp. East Texas is lucky to have a shop like Illuminations.

I have had nothing but the greatest customer service when shopping at Illuminations. I have bought some of the most beautiful pink lamps with clear acrylic bases. They have a phenomenal selection of custom lamps that one could not find anywhere else. I had two custom lamps that needed updating. Jean knew the exact shades that I needed and the change was amazing. Lester can repair anything and the inventory of lampshades and finials made it a wonderful experience!

Proprietor Jean Torrans is hands down the best business woman I have ever known. Her shop reflects her expertise in every way. Not only does she shop all over the world for her inventory, Lester then transforms her finds into works of art. She stocks more lampshades than I can find in Houston! Many repairs are done the same day one brings them in. Her shop is an absolute treasure!!!

The owner of this shop was the rudest women I have ever encountered in a small business. She told me “my business means nothing to her” and rather then being kind and letting me exchange a shade that did not work for me, told me to take the shade and get out!

When I walk in their store today they was all staring at my family and I and was following us around like we were going to steal something from their store. She was being rude when she was trying to put her dog up instead of her moving out the way so I can get by so she can put her dog up she stayed in my way instead. I was already treated bad when I step foot in the door. I will never go there again. My worst experience ever
